Elden Ring10

The immersion in Elden Ring is incredible. I’ve rarely been so drawn into a game. That wouldn’t have happened during a normal working week, but I had plenty of time over the winter holidays, so I really got **** in. I’m not usually much of a Soulslike player, but Elden Ring won me over. Sure, some of the puzzles are a bit of a mystery to me without a bit of outside help, but overall it was fantastic.

Divinity: Original Sin II - Definitive Edition9

The gameplay, the lore and the world are superbly crafted and really interesting. I really like the combat system here, though the recurring burning effect is a bit tiresome. Otherwise, the characters’ backstories, linked to decisions and events, are top-notch. It’s just that sometimes it feels less like a group and more like an afterthought. Overall, though, it’s a very, very worthwhile game.

Marvel's Spider-Man 29

Spider-Man 2 plays incredibly well. The gameplay is brilliant, and swinging around is great fun. The cutscenes and the story are also very good. The graphics look absolutely stunning – you can really tell it had a big budget, and it’s definitely worth it.

Hades10

One of my favourite games, which I’ve also platinumed. The start is quite tough, but as with most roguelikes, you get better at it over time. The progression is great fun, especially as you can re-combine abilities in every run. The dialogues with the gods and the story itself are brilliant.

Cyberpunk 20779

As I played the game much later and missed the release, I can only review the current version. It’s absolutely brilliant. I love the gameplay, the graphics and the story too. In fact, the ‘side quests’ are also top-notch – they really remind me of the great side quests in The Witcher 3 from CD Projekt. All in all, this is a must-play RPG in 2026.

Rarely has a game been so addictive. The sheer number of choices, the deep and well-written dialogue, the group dynamics and the voice acting all combine to make this one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II9
Apr 13, 2026
I’ve played the game for over 100 hours, including the DLCs. I was completely drawn into the immersive experience. As well as the wide range of options and the exploration, I also found the story to be extremely good. Of course, the mechanics aren’t for everyone, but if you give them a go, the result is phenomenal. I would have loved to give ‘Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’ a 10/10, but the scaling towards the end of the game is a bit uneven. I found most enemies far too easy to defeat, which took some of the fun out of it for me.
