One of most surprising games I've ever played. A super polished experience. Expansive intuitive building and physics system with a very high creativity cap. Uniquely animated pokemon. Surprising secrets that genuinely felt unexpected and make you marvel at the depth of the game. I'm probably 80 hours in and I'm still learning new things, like when you put two specific items together, they interact in a special way that's unique to only those items. This game hit's the nostalgia for the 90s kids and mixes it really well with every generation. 10/10

Incredible story and world, but for how much there is in the game that I want to collect/craft/fight/explore, my want is met with brick walls. Too many of the missions are walking around an area trying in Witcher vision and excessive amounts of dialogue. The pacing gets slowed down way too much when all I want to do is fight/explore/level up. I think they could trim the fat in a lot of areas to allow for better pacing.

Very unique and well written story and great combat, but the moment to moment pacing between story beats and battles was a bit slow for me, especially in the intro. I wanted to see more of the game, but kept getting bored in between great moments.

As a fan of both the high action and slow paced survival horror from roughly 30 years of RE, I'm happy to say this is my number 1 RE game. 4, 4 remake, 2 Remake, 1 Remaster, 5 and Zero have been my favorite installments. Requiem blends everything I've enjoyed from the series into one. Metroidvania style exploration/progression, beautifully detailed areas, amazing zombies/creatures/gore, a growing arsenal of weapons, leon one liners, big surprises, options giving you freedom on how you approach enemies. 10/10
