This is a good Pokemon game that could've been greater with some more months of dev time. Small things like no voice acting in cut scenes and bad pop-in will wish this game was a bit more ambitious. However the game itself is fun, with good atmosphere, a lot of great Pokemon, a ton of QOL improvements that make it streamlined in a good way. You can spend a lot of time in the Wild Area. Post-game offers quite a few multiplayer things to do. I'd like to note that a ton of these negative reviews popped up literally the hour the game released, and are not completely accurate.

Cool concepts from a good developer, but with some truly awful frame-rates at time, which is not good for an action game.

GameFAQS users are purposefully trolling the reviews, dropping 0s. If you want to read proper reviews, read the ones from the critics. I would rank this an 8.5 but am giving a 10 to balance out troll idiocy.

The gameplay is fun when it works, but the more you play the more cracks appear and it's not a great launch either. I hope this will be a good game in about a month or so, but then again it should be a good game on launch. If you're considering buying I would definitely wait for updates.

PSA: Some of the 1 reviews clearly don't own the game since they're rehashing false information. Mew is not needed for the Shiny charm or Red, natures are still in, you can get Moon Stones (no idea where this rumour popped up that you couldn't) etc. Ignore these troll/spam reviews when possible. That doesn't mean I'm defending this game; when it has less content than Fire Red in the GBA days that's a warning sign. it's fun to see wild pokemon running around the routes ( a feature I hope that returns) or your own following behind you, each with some very fun animations. It's also not devoid of challenge; I'm at the fifth gym so far and I'd say there was 7-8 battles outside of gyms that tested me quite well. However the average trainer is a push-over and this really isn't helped by no wild pokemon battles. If you're semi-decent at any Pokemon game you will go fairly long periods of time with any Pokemon in danger, ESPECIALLY the starter. If you value any challenge barely use that OP thing. While it's cute to pat them it feels like a step down from Poke-Amie/Refresh which had every Pokemon; my partner is not my favourite member of my team but I don't get to bond with any of the others. There's some changes to Kanto I like; you meet some of Elite Four early in-game and they help you, unlike them being completely absent until the League. You and your rival have some extra scenes together. There's a funny scene in the Rocket Hideout where Eevee/Pikachu is playable to grab something you can't through a small space. There's also a few anti frustration QOL improvements like no HMs and a PC in your bag that make Kanto feel less dated. If you have a young child or someone who isn't hardcore into games, this would be a good first Pokemon game. The last thing I'd like to touch on is probably my biggest frustration with the game; NO evolution for Kanto Pokemon that appear in later games. Want a Kingdra? Too bad. Blissey? Nope. 5 whole Eevee evolutions missing in a game called Let's GO Eeeve/Pikachu. It's ridiculous and once again, FRLG had these evos in as well as a post-game. While it's a fully functioning game and there's some merit to be had, I can't fathom giving this more than a 7, and I'm giving it a 6 due to being locked out of Mew thanks to me not wanting to pay more.

Never thought I'd find a game about Fashion this fun - my friend recommended it and I thought they were having a joke. But this is a quality game with a ton of clothing, hair and accessory options alongside surprisingly charming NPCs, a soundtrack that's almost too good for a fashion game, a lovely looking 3DS game and a ton of content. I didn't expect myself to laugh at this game's humour but I did! There's a few minor complaints like not being able to be a male PC despite male fashion and a boutique, or that story events sometimes trigger weirdly specifically. Also the new feature of nails doesn't feel that big since you can't see them in some of the NPC's poses, but since it's not really vital to the game it's not much of a problem.

Beautiful game with great mechanics, an alive world and a whole new take on Zelda. A point off for the annoying weapon durability system. WARNING: Salty PS fanboys from GFAQs have been leaving troll 0 ratings on this game, most of who don't have the game yet. Ignore these.

Improved on the previous entry a lot. Increased amount of make up colours, let you design your own sets for sale, lets you seperate fringes and hair styles when cutting hair (as well as a huge increase of hair styles; I think they tripled the amount). Lots of new clothes including Nintendo themed ones with Amiibo support. Another good feature is the group of NPCs you befriend (and some you confront) over the course of the game. With 5 different jobs and 5 areas you can visit outside the city, this has far more playtime than the previous 3DS entry. My main criticisms; that the design aspect is not very expansive and that the male fashion aspect was almost entirely removed.

TWO IMPORTANT THINGS: Do not be put off by the user score, anti-censorship people are voting this down on purpose without finishing the game! Do not buy this before playing at least one path! Now that we got that outta the way, I'll share my thoughts on this path. Revelations is the path where both Hoshido and Nohr come together; this has the largest amounts of units. Each chapter you'll be gaining like 2-3 units and eventually you will gain all the royal siblings as well. Brand new supports between Nohr and Hoshido units are in this route, making it very funny to watch them interact. All the royal siblings can also support with their opposite royal (e.g Camilla/Hinoka) which is very satisfying if you've played both routes. This also has a lot of new maps with a lot of them having a gimmick; it's a defining feature of Revelation. Most of them are great but there's a few ones that make you very frustrated. It is quite different from Birthright which has simpler rout maps, so keep that in mind. Conquest players will be more in their element here. The only negative thing I can say is that it is less bittersweet than the other two; there's a lot less death and the main theme of 'betrayal' is not really present once you get halfway through the game as everyone joins together in this path. Both Hoshido and Nohr have more dramatic/sad moments while Revelations is the golden path. However I'm sure some people would vastly prefer that and it was nice to see after playing two route with sad-ish endings. Overall it's a 9/10 for me, there is a TON of content and units so you will be playing this for a while. :)

This is actually about an 8.8, but I raised it to balance out the blatantly unfair reviews by the anti censorship crowd, some of whom admit they don't even have the game. :))))) Gameplay is tight and even normal can be a challenge at times. Conquest has much more interesting maps and victory conditions than Birthright, so take that into equation if picking a side. Characters are mostly interesting, there's a few tropey characters but a lot of enjoyable ones as well. Supports can range from fantastic to terrible; characters who don't really interact or connect in the story usually have substandard supports. The music is excellent and the graphics are quite nice for 3DS; the 3D also works pretty well if you like to see the portraits of the characters pop out.
