The game makes you feel like bond. Gets all the ingredients in and it works. The charm, the spy, gadegts, cars (aston martin), locations, exotic locations and set pieces. Cant wait for what's in store next.

Talk about an incredible spiderman story and this game delivers on it! It gives you the feeling of being spiderman that even triumphs insomniac's last outing as spiderman. The gameplay is amazing (pun intended). The feeling of swinging through new york city is superb. Spiderman is nimble, fast and packs a punch in combat. Best spiderman game to date. Cant wait what insomniac does next.

Talk about a buggy game. The audio cuts out almost every other cutscene and no matter what you will do you cant follow the story then. The game gets monotonous really fast. Its just getting from point A to point B and then fighting some enemies and then just repeating the same thing. The gear updates seem really unrewarding and mundane. No cosmetic changes assigned to them. Speaking of cosmetic changes, get ready to spend some hard earned cash on really just getting a new skin and nothing else. The game pushes you to spend money mid game, like you will literally get a pop up after a cutscene ends and you are transitioning to the game. The story seemed to be good and the game had potential but falls really short of that.

The game starts with a promise of delivering a great experience but it falls short of that by a huge margin. The game is riddled with bugs (audio and visual). The game's graphics during cut scenes make you feel like you are playing on a previous generation console's early era (even thats saying a lot). The game offers very mundane and repetitive tasks which you have to complete in order to unlock story missions, which in themselves are not so impressive. The only fun element that you get out of the game is manoeuvrability. The wing suit gliding mechanic is fun to use, coupling with the grapple hook, offers some excitement in the game. The big USP that of tornadoes in the game, loses its charm in like the first tornado you encounter. The combat mechanics are okay at best. There are no grenades as far as I played, or if there are grenades in your arsenal, they may come at time when you are so severely bored with the game that you might have stopped playing by then. The alternate mode of your guns was a nice touch and offers some variety in you arsenal. All in all, the game fails to hook you enough to play through even half of the game. You might enjoy the first few hours of the game after which you will probably never have the urge to pick up the controller again for this game.

The love and heart that went into making this game can be seen from the very beginning of the game. The opening sequence sets up the game for a roller coaster of a ride. It delivers on the fantasy of being Spider-Man. Being a huge fan of the character, I feel this one is right on the money of what it feels to be Spider-Man. The dichotomy of Spider-Man and Peter Parker is evident from the very first scene and plays through really well in the game. The way Spider-Man moves through the city is a delight to watch and play. The combat is equally satisfying with a plethora of powers and gadgets at your disposal. This is very much an Insomniac game as it is a Spider-Man game. The world is beautifully created, with fluid animations and a very well crafted story. This game really does top the list of super hero games and is a must buy.
