Resident Evil Requiem9

One of the best entries in the series. It honestly feels like two games in one. Grace's sections lean more into the RE2/7 style, while Leon’s parts go full RE4/6. Visually, it’s outstanding. Capcom is in top form **** why “only” a 9? Leon’s sections, compared to Grace’s, lose a lot of atmosphere and shift more into straight-up action, at times it feels closer to RE6 than classic survival horror. I definitely prefer the slower, more tense gameplay. Another downside is the lack of puzzles, I really missed that element.

8/10. A surprisingly good action-puzzle game! - The locations are large, smartly designed and pleasant to explore, with no annoying backtracking.
- The puzzles are really diverse, every chapter introduces something new, whether it’s a mechanic or a fresh way of solving things, and there’s a surprisingly big number of them. Thanks to that the game stays engaging all the way through.
- The world is interesting and has a nice atmosphere.- I also ended up liking the characters a lot; the dialogues work well, Ryn is genuinely cool, and her monologues are sometimes funny without drifting into cringe.
- Abrham still reminds me of Parker from Friends, and I’m taking that as a positive xD
- Combat is decent, nothing spectacular, but definitely okay. I didn’t play version 1.0, so I can’t compare. Overall, this feels like a really solid AA game that could easily grow into something bigger, maybe even a semi-open world sequel. The ending practically asks for a continuation, and the story itself is very enjoyable. TL;DR: must play!

6.5/10. Not bad, could be better. I played whole game from the very beginning, which honestly wasn’t the best idea. You’ll need both the lighter and the oxygen tank if you want to explore every spot in this DLC.

9.5/10 Amazing game with a fantastic atmosphere, especially for anyone who grew up in the '80s/‘90s in Poland. I don’t get the complaints about bullet sponge enemies or not enough ammo. There’s plenty, you just need to aim and not waste it. People whining about inventory space? Just upgrade your suit. And if you upgrade your weapons, they hold more ammo per mag so you don’t need to carry extra bullets in your inventory. Everything here is tuned just right, every system clicks together perfectly. Totally worth playing.

9/10. The story is great, the world is fascinating. Combat? Yeah, kind of average, but the exploration and narrative easily make up for it. The best part? No map. No hints. Nothing holding your hand. Turns out you don’t actually need a map, when you don’t have one, you just remember where things are, because you’ve got no choice. I even caught myself making old-school notes like back in the day, and honestly… that felt awesome. :D

Always wondering why this game is only 7/10. It's one of the best postapo RPG games ever. Nice story. The best characters. What you need more?

Maybe I’m old. Yes, I am. But this old-school experience is what I was looking for over the last few years. What can I say? It’s a great and difficult game with some annoying mechanics - which I love. Must play for boomers. :D

Man. My favourite game always was Morrowind. Now, Elden Ring is kinda Morrowind on steroids. F-king great exploration. Dpn't know what to say more. "Game hangover" will be the biggest in years. :(
