The best writing in video games, and it isn't close. After playing Disco Elysium, it is embarrassing seeing what other games try to pass off as *good writing*. This is a game that will still be talked about in 20 years.

An amazing game. Thoughtful, funny and rewarding. I continue to think about it 10 years after I played it.

A generally fun game. However the plot is a waste of your time. The gameplay loop tries to tap into the same part of human brains that gambling does, which is very cynical game design. And it is brought down by buggy behaviour in combat which is very unfortunate.

The art and music are good. Beyond that there are no ranking qualities. The plot is non existent, the characters nothing more than cardboard cutouts. It doesn't improve on the original in any meaningful way. A complete let down. I am doing you a favour by warning you against playing it.
