The first half of this game was awesome. Loved the whole murder mystery plot and the butterfly affect. But then things started getting supernatural. The whole Wendigo thing really hurt the game for me. They weren't scary and it didn't feel like they belonged in a story like this and that they were just added to lengthen it and give the player a "real" threat, but all that meant was a bunch of QTEs and "don't move " parts. The butterfly affect was a interesting ideal, but it's execution was awful. Most of the choices either result in the same outcome, or affect the story in an insignificant way, and this is especially apparent if you play through the game a second time. It's a shame because this looked like one of the best horror games in years for the first few hours, but by the end, I can't say I was totally satisfied. Still not a bad game by any means, but I really feel like it had potential to be great, and yet, I can't say it's any better more than a slightly above average horror title.

straight, up this game was awesome. Don't know what all the hate is about, Ive replayed it dozens of times and have investing probably over 100 hours in it myself and that's not including co-op. Trust my, buy it, you won't be disappointed

With the exception of some very strange controls, Dead Space succeeds at being a great combination of fun, scares, story, length and replayability. Was a great beginning to a epic series.

Despite little changes to the gameplay itself, BL-PS is still a great open world shooter. The story is very well developed and there is still a lot of things to explore and do. There is no doubt you could spend several hundred hours in this game between looting, exploring, quests, multiple characters and DLC. I do like that it feels similar but there should have been a bit more at least in loot variety. Not quite the masterpiece that was BL2 but there is still a lot of fun to be had in this game and I would recommend it

Although this game looked and appeared to be a lot better than its predecessors, COD AW is unfortunately just a next gen re skin of the same garbage we've been getting for years now. Its sad how so many game companies think improved visuals and a few new mechanics is enough. That aside, this was actually a fun game to play. The futuristic stuff was done much better than in blops2 and the new survivor mode is surprisingly fun. Still the underlying mechanics are the same and and multiplayer is still the same old thing. Definitely the best COD in years but that may simply be due to its optimization for next gen and is still not enough to resurrect the series.

Just a bad game. Awful combat, no challenge, no intensity, broken inventory and bugs everywhere!!. Looks completely unfinished and feels like nothing more than a bad dlc of oblivion. Could barely finish it. How this garbage **** so many people in is beyond me but I can safely say this is by far one of the worst videogames ive ever had the displeasure to have on my computer.

Good survival game. Really added well to the story of Overture with some great twists and atmosphere. Some puzzles were a bit hard but this was a solid game nonetheless especially since its its only $10 for over 5 hours of gameplay

A real disappointment. After having a great time with Overture I had very high hopes for this series. Black plague was not as good but still decent but this was garbage. This is not what I have come to expect from Frictional games (especially now after Amnesia). This series would have been far better off being wrapped up in black plague. No story AT ALL. Absolutely no atmosphere and boring tedious puzzles. After the first 30 minutes I just looked at a walk-through before playing each section simply because I had no desire to waste my time on boring, hard puzzles and besides its not like there were and real spoilers in terms of story. No story , no scares, no atmosphere, no fun and bugs to top it all off. I understand this was mostly due to financial problems during development but they would have been better of making BP longer and ending the series there. Not worth the money.

One of the best pure survival experiences ever. The game looked and felt amazing and the story was great and the enemy AI was amazingly unpredictable. Now it was far from perfect as it did have its share of bugs( alien sometimes magically knowing where i am, things going through walls) and in my opinion a lack of real jumpscares, this is easily one of the most stressful (in a good way) games ive ever played and the length makes it more than worth the price and i found it dosent even get repetitive thanks to the great twists of the story, the and the enemy AI. The ending was also fantastic. Don't know why this game has gotten so many mixed reviews, its simply amazing. A true masterpiece and a must play for any alien or horror fan

A bit of a disappointment. Despite still being a great game, gta v did not quite live up to the hype with the total amount of freedom in the world. Still one of the best games of 2013 but I expected more

Very simple. One of the greatest games ever made. Simple, unique and one of the few games out there where anyone can find something to love about it. No matter what else comes out that may have had higher production value or better graphics, minecraft is a constant that will someday. if not already, be known as the single greatest open world and survival game to ever be made.

One of the best horror games ive ever played. The atmosphere and jumpscares had me far more scared than any other game. It's simply brilliant, even with a very simple story and a very outdated engine, Cry of Fear really had me feel the meaning of horror and that production does not have to have super high value to make a fantastic game, also features 10+ hours of gameplay and the endings were brilliant.

The best horror game ever made without a doubt. This game was not only one of the scariest games ive ever played, but is also a fantastic survival experience. The sounds and music are brilliant and contributed greatly to building the tension and kept me tense throughout the entire game( amnesia even won awards for it's audio and technical excellence at the 2011 independent games festival). The atmosphere is as pure as it gets, from the dimly lit hallways to the dark underground cells, every little noise will have you jumping by the end, especially with the game's fantastic attention to detail on many levels. There are also custom stories that can keep the games appeal alive even after it's complete ( some of which are amazing and i would have payed money for). Terrifying, unique and one of the most immersive experiences you'll ever have Amnesia the Dark Descent is a must play for anyone even remotely interested in horror
