Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Another great installment in the Borderlands franchise, the Pre Sequel takes things to the next level with a fantastic story, great characters and new innovative gameplay, which will make you jump for joy...Quite literally.

The appeal lies in the game’s simplicity as much as it lies in its alluring wackiness, crazy characters and superb atmosphere.

It is more of the same, but that same is still very good and very enjoyable.

A pre-sequel for those who are predisposed to Borderlands and can't wait for a full sequel.

While it probably should’ve been DLC, it’s still more Borderlands fun for anyone starving for more Vault hunting action.

The Pre-Sequel is missing just a bit of soul, but it has plenty of heart – hearts exploded by laser rifles.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is an unpolished, uninspired adventure where fun can be had with friends, but that time could be better spent elsewhere.

The best from all trylogy. did not play third one. 10/10. ultra fun in co-op.

I played this and realized directly its meant more for co-op but alone works but i think co-op is the way to play to play this and thats why im unsure if i wanna play this fully

The Pre-Sequel is essentially a glorified expansion to Borderlands 2, because the foundation of the game (the interface and most of the gameplay mechanics) is the same. That said, I think I enjoyed it the most of all Borderlands so far, having played through 1 and 2 and all their DLCs - I don't consider myself a fan of the franchise, but I found TPS the least annoying and the most pleasurable. Storywise it complements B2 really well, but it diverges stylistically quite a bit, to look and feel more like a space adventure than B2 (the action taking place on the moon and all). The world design is fantastic, combat is reasonably fun, and though a lot of the dialogues are still lazy and unfunny and the omnipresent garbage loot is still an issue, a quick autoloot mod takes care of the later issue quite well (I wish I used it for B2!). If you really enjoyed B2 then definitely pick this up as well, but it's not a good entry point into the franchise, because its story depends too much on what you know from B2.

I played this with my friends and we had some fun but I would NEVER play this solo. I had no attachment to any character, space is a horrible place. Very dissapointing

The game is unbelievable boring. Well honestly every BL game and every loot shooter is boring, but pre-sequel is definitly worst one. Slow motion, low gravity, oxigen leaking, pointless characters what screaming "Hey gamer loot at me, i'm big talking sht". Devs just put every annoying thing in this game and said "It's funny game!". Hell no.
