Yes, this is a game meant for more than one person to play. If you're playing by yourself is it going to be a blast? No. This is the same problem that Smash Bros has. BUT if you have a friend (or two.. or three) that you can play this game with? It's great. Really great. Maybe the best Mario Party game ever. The different game modes all vary and play in different ways. Thought was put into this, people. I wish some of these modes made it into the Wii U version but alas they didn't. I originally stayed away from this game because of the scathing reviews. You can NOT judge this game based on its single-player merit! If you've got someone to play this with, download it and always have it on your system and go to it

Now THIS is how you tell a story. The game doesn't ram it down your throat... instead, you explore and figure out exactly what it is that happened on this desolate world. It's a smart game that expects you to be a smart person and catch on. The gameplay is simple enough and while there are a few little things that make it less than perfect, it's hard to put down and I found myself looking forward to getting back to find out exactly what it is that went down on this planet. And that ending tho. Woooh! Who saw that coming? Can't wait for the sequel.

If anyone ranks this lower than a 9, check to see where the review came from cuz they're probably writing from the isolation ward in the local insane asylum. This game is just about flawless.

This game is absolute, complete garbage. The fact that Nintendo took money from people for this game is a disgrace. I've given Paper Mario two chances since the amazing, incredible Thousand Year Door, and that little twerp has blown both chances. At least the Wii Paper Mario had some redemptive qualities. This, on the other hand.... Look at any negative review. What will you see? That battles here are pointless. Why? Well, when you go into battle, you use stickers. What do you get when you win a battle? More stickers. No EXP points... just...more stickers. So why the hell would I want to go into battle with ANYONE!? Good God, who thought this was a good idea? There was NO ONE who thought to speak up and say something?! Who's working at Nintendo these days? The Minions from Despicable Me? This is literally the worst game I've played.. maybe ever. I owned Superman 64. I took more enjoyment out of that game (yes, I used cheat codes to make it bearable but still). I WANTED to like this game. I put ELEVEN hours into it, trying to convince myself that hey, this isn't so bad. Then as I was running through a forest, dodging enemies (again, battles are pointless wastes of time) it hit me. This game is so bad, I would rather have a lobotomy than be forced to play it another second.

I understand the reasons people like this game. I could not disagree more. This game is not really a "game" per se as it is an interactive novel. A horribly slow moving, boring novel. The dialogue is unskippable so you can't get moving if you're a quick reader and just want to get on with it already. The story is not good. Sure, there's a few insane plot twists at the end that you won't see coming, but you'll have to wait 30 hours or so to get there. If you're into good stories, go read a manga. Here's two recommendations to get you started: Tokyo Ghoul and Attack on Titan (heard of it?). Sitting through this story is worse than getting waterboarded. Let's talk about the puzzles section. Good lord, this was not fun. This is the only real "game" part of this game. I even looked up the solutions so I wouldn't have to deal with it any longer as the whole process is endlessly cumbersome. Don't save your game and exit while you're in these puzzle sections or you could destroy your save file and have to start from scratch. Where's the promised patch to fix this? It's not coming. That's a load of BS right there. I'm glad so many people find joy in this game... I just wish there was someone to say the things I'm saying so I wouldn't have had to waste my time. If you're looking for a good, engaging story. This is NOT it.

i'm a big fan of Sonic Lost World for Wii U and don't get the hate for it.... here on the other hand, I completely understand. I'm enjoying this game for what it is, cognizant of the fact that it's far from a masterpiece. However, this game will leave you frustrated, annoyed, and really wondering what the heck the level designers were thinking at times. You'll definitely scream "GET UP!" every time Sonic gets hit. It takes him a good 20 minutes to get back to his feet. The 2D levels are borderline horrible. And like someone else said on here... go play Frozen Factory 3. I very nearly ragequit the entire game right there. The makings of a "good" game are here... I feel like SEGA wanted to get this thing out (just like Sonic Boom) and didn't bother to polish it up. Get the Wii U one instead, you'll have a lot more fun.
