The Outer Worlds 28

Obsidian once again proves itself a master of dialogue writing and role-playing systems in this excellent space-set title. The impact of our choices and actions always has consequences in these games. The plot is mild but has several interesting ideas; the supporting characters are well-designed and well-developed. The Open Map system is also very good, allowing you to explore large areas that are never excessively vast. The shooting is also very good, decidedly fluid and responsive. Finished in about 68 hours of gameplay on Xbox Series S.

A solid fantasy RPG with an extraordinary lore and a commendable, varied, and fun combat system. The graphics and art direction are excellent. The story is very engaging in the beginning but loses some steam toward the end. I found the companions to be well-developed and beautifully designed. Exploration is always rewarding, and the level design is truly excellent, especially in the first area. The dialogue choice system is rich, with choices that always have consequences for the plot, even in side quests. These side quests are also of high quality, well-written, and never boring or repetitive. A very good RPG that, however, fails to truly excel and rise to the top of its genre.

Hollow Knight: Silksong6
Apr 5, 2026
A game that, unfortunately, never quite managed to fully captivate me. An excessive level of difficulty that can lead to frustration time and time again. While it can be nice at times to be challenged by a video game (even harshly), Silksong decides to go way overboard, and with a certain arrogance. It assumes at all costs that you’re an expert gamer, or worse yet, that you must have played their previous game. Despite having objectively high-quality features, I can’t give it a rating higher than a passing grade.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 3310
Apr 5, 2026
One of the most beautiful gaming experiences of my life. A story that not only moves you, but also evokes an incredibly wide and deep range of emotions. The characters are brilliantly written, and every single one is memorable. Visually, the game is a true work of art, just as the soundtrack is pure art. The gameplay is addictive, featuring an innovative and effective turn-based combat system. The abundance of end-game content led me to play nearly 80 hours **** that actually only takes about 30 hours to complete. One of the very few games I’ve ever given a perfect 10.

Mafia III8
Apr 5, 2026
The most underrated MAFIA game. I had the chance to play it in 2025, and the gameplay has aged exceptionally well. Compared to the first two games, there’s been a huge leap forward in character animations and combat, which is now much smoother and more enjoyable. The vehicle handling is also excellent. I was particularly impressed by the storyline, featuring a different but compelling protagonist. The voice acting and soundtrack are good. As with all Mafia games, the art direction is exceptional, transporting us back in time to the 1950s. This is a game that definitely deserves a second look.

Mafia II: Definitive Edition7
Apr 5, 2026
A weaker narrative and gameplay experience compared to the first installment. Although the protagonist, Vito Scaletta, is truly iconic, I found both him and the main characters to be more caricatured than I expected. The gameplay feels quite clunky and shows its age. The graphics and art style are good. The open world is pretty pointless. The story is nice but never quite lives up to its predecessor.

Mafia: Definitive Edition9
Apr 5, 2026
A game whose strengths lie in its storytelling and artistic direction. The plot is truly gripping, with some truly memorable twists. The characters are iconic, well-written, and well-developed. The chapter-based structure makes the game enjoyable and sets it apart from simply trying to be a copy of GTA. The artistic design of the game world is fabulous, as are the soundtrack and voice acting (in Italian). The gameplay is a bit clunky and shows its age, despite the improvements made as a remake. But with a title like this, what I was looking for was the story, and I can say I found it.

South of Midnight8
Apr 5, 2026
A simple yet effective game, with a story that is at times moving and deeply meaningful. Artistically, it’s a masterpiece, with its stop-motion-style animation making it truly one of a kind. Kudos to the truly exceptional soundtrack and sound design. The gameplay is very simple and at times mundane; the combat sequences are fun but never particularly impactful. The boss fights are much more enjoyable. The platforming sections are well-executed.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla6
Apr 5, 2026
A game that tries to mimic every aspect of *The Witcher 3* but fails miserably. It has completely lost the soul of previous *Assassin's Creed* games in its attempt to become an open-world action RPG that is far too vast and repetitive. The atmosphere and graphics are beautiful, and the action combat sequences are fairly entertaining, but unfortunately, that’s not enough to make the game as memorable as some of its predecessors.

The Crew Motorfest9

One of the best open-world arcade racing games out there. The game has been severely underrated, simply because it was developed by Ubisoft. But the truth is, it holds its own against a title like Forza Horizon 5. In fact, in many ways, it offers even more variety in terms of vehicles and events. The themed playlists are fantastic, and the Hawaiian setting is visually stunning. The driving is definitely arcade-style, but super fun. Plus, the game continues to receive free content updates years after its release. 105 hours of game with Xbox Series S.

Starfield9
Apr 5, 2026
Even though Starfield is a game riddled with flaws and shortcomings, for me it was a one-of-a-kind experience. Feeling like a true space explorer and being able to immerse myself in such a well-crafted universe was exactly what I was looking for in this game. With over 200 hours under my belt, I can say I’ve seen everything this game has to offer. The spaceship building is definitely one of the best parts. The gameplay is excellent for an RPG, and while the plot moves slowly, it has several surprising twists. The Faction Missions are exceptional, and New Game Plus is literally incredible.

A game that, by 2026, after countless patches, had reached an incredible level of polish. An unparalleled role-playing and narrative experience, with breathtaking visuals. Iconic and memorable characters, featuring top-notch voice acting and performances. Solid and entertaining gameplay, all set in Night City, an open-world city of inestimable artistic value

Need for Speed Unbound8

The criticisms of this game are exaggerated as it has everything you could want from an arcade racing game. Simple, fast-paced and fun gameplay, an excellent fleet of cars with an incredible car customization system, both on an aesthetic and engine level. There are many races and events, and the open world map, although a little anonymous, still manages to host adrenaline-filled races. The graphics department is excellent, both on a technical and artistic level. It is certainly one of the most recognizable and characterful NFS. Sensational audio tracks.

Marvel Snap8

Excellent card game based on Marvel superheroes. A real treat for fans, extremely simple and intuitive gameplay. The matches don't last long, it's true, but as far as I'm concerned this is an advantage. The progression system that allows you to collect all the cards and their variations is very beautiful and stimulating.

Forza Horizon 59
Aug 31, 2023
Forza horizon 5 is literally the paradise for lovers of cars and racing games in general. A title that enjoys a sublime technical sector, strengthened by breathtaking graphics. The details of the cars are incredible, as is the lighting. The open world structure works great and allows us to drive through the fantastic landscapes of Mexico. The gameplay is excellent, a perfect compromise between pure arcade and a small dose of realism. Events and races are endless, both in single player and online modes. vote 9
