Not as good as first one or even Miles Morales. The good: bigger map the wings to get from point a to point b the graphics Te bad: not very optimized on pc (Ryzen 7 9800x3d and 9070 xt). Multiple crashes and stutters. The gadgets aren't as fun as the first one Speaking of gadgets, during the boss battles, they gain a full life 2-3 times while your gadgets never refill. Which makes the game become a stand and wait to parry their attack. The game goes from a fun super hero game to a boring fighting game. And FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, can we ditch the MJ missions? It's a damn superhero game. Not a boring MJ game. Overall will still pick up the final one but hopefully it's more like 1 and not 2.

Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball 2024

I'll start off by saying I'm not a huge NBA fan. Used to be back in the days of Reggie Miller but not a big fan of the modern-day NBA. But I like PC sports management games because of the customization ability. So how realistic are the stats? How accurate do the players play? I'll let someone else decide that. The game is unlicensed. You will have to download the real-world mod on their forums if you want the NBA teams. The last Pro Basketball offering I played was 2021 and the expansion back then automatically put both teams out west. So if you made one of the expansion teams, say Kentucky they were automatically put in a division out west. That has now been changed (and was changed in 23 I believe) to allow you to expand to a 32-team league with divisions of four teams. And then you can edit those divisions by swapping teams out on a one-for-one basis. I still prefer the light UI of the older games. Not a huge fan of all black and gray. But of course, that's a personal preference. The football games allow you some customization via **** file, the basketball games do not. The game does feature the new in-season tournament if you want to use it. The new screen ticker along the bottom is a nice touch to see what's going on around the league from every screen. A new addition is showing overalls instead of the stars. Maybe it's my old-school video game in me coming out but I've always preferred the overall ratings to stars. What exactly rating is 3 stars? There's too much **** between a low three-star player and a high three-star player. So now you can see exactly what their rating is. I treat the pro games like a real GM. So I let the AI coach make all lineup and in-game coaching decisions. So I can't comment much on the actual in-game action. I normally load up and fast sim to half-time to get a fell for what my team has done and then fast sim the rest of the game. I play in sandbox mode so that if something happens and I need to, I can jump into the commish profile and edit what needs changed. Just a reminder they offer free demos of all their games on their website. So if you are on the fence, download the demo and check it out. Overall I do recommend the game to those who like these type of games. I will also say that I've never seen the devs respond on steam but they are highly active on their forums, discord and slack.

Just FYI Will have to download the real world mod on the forums as the game features fictional teams out of the box. I’ve purchased this game yearly from 2019-22. In 2022 they switched all versions to the dark UI, which I loathe and can’t stand. So I skipped ’23 and downloaded the demo for **** you can customize a skin but how exactly do you do that? What do you need to change to change this or that? Nobody knows. I asked on the forum a month ago with no response. For comparison I still play 2021 regularly as it’s the last game with white UI. +New recruiting improvements are nice and make sense. +They’ve made some changes to the UI layout that I like. The ticker, the schedule/dashboard but it still feels very similar as well. -The dark UI. Yes yes I know that’s a personal preference, I’m sure some love the dark UI and I don’t mind dark as long as it’s like the blue in OOTP and not pitch black and gray. This dark UI…I can’t stand and since there's no manual or info on what can and can't be changed in the **** you are pretty much stuck with wasting hours trial and error or just living with the dark theme. .-IMHO the new player pages look bad and it has since the 2022 version. The player picture is the same as it has been for ages (which needs a update) but there is so much wasted space to the right and left of the player. Where the player picture should be more landscape or square and not portrait. As it is now, they are just cutoff weird at the shoulders when there’s plenty of room to continue the shoulders down like in OOTP. In 2021 the team logo was to the left of the player, the player photos and then his info. In 2024 the team logo is now behind the player and the player has been shifted to the center of the space available which just ****. The basketball series player profile pages look so much better. .-Still not as easy as OOTP to setup fictional or fully customized universes. It must all be done via xml files and not in the game. -The playcalling is confusing and all black and white images. It's pretty standard that bltz or rush should be red lines. Passing routes should be yellow. As it is, these game is the outlier and is different then everything else out there. That's not good for accessibility. Overall while there are a few nice improvements still way too many things holding it back to warrant the $40 price tag.

I'll start by saying Fallen Order was a much better game. The Bad: 30 minutes between save points is back. And seems to be even worse than Fallen Order. Is it really so hard to allow us to save games as we want?!? If you like to spend 80% of your time trying to make impossible platforming jumps, this is the game for you. There's a lot of just jumping back and forth to figure out where you are supposed to go. I played all of Fallen Order on the default Jedi Knight difficulty. The difficulty on this one seems to be on steroids, as I've even had to lower it to story mode to advance a few times. Good: The fighting is fantastic and on point. But that's the one positive. In my opinion, this game is worse than Fallen Order in every way.

I loved this game. Sure it's repetitive, just like most other games (all FPS). I just now played this game (October 2016) so maybe they've already patched all the issues other reviews listed. But I got 50-60FPS on a FX8350 with a 3GB 1060. I encountered no bugs or graphical issues. It ran really smooth. My main issue with the game is that depending on when you die, you have to replay a large part of the level rather then taking off from right where you died. Overall really liked the story. The live episode things where kinda annoying to sit through for 20 mins at a time. But I give Remedy a A for effort. And thank them for making the PC version. Can't wait for #2.

Solid 8. I've been a member of iRacing for just over a month now and have to say I love it. No where else have I ever found online racing that actually felt like racing. You don't have to worry about the idiot drivers like you find on the consoles. It is pricey but not ridiculously so. Are the graphics great? No but they are Xbox 360 quality and it runs great on my cheaper PC. It's not PS2 graphics as I saw one reviewer complain. There are plenty of videos out there for see for youself. I found a code for 3 months free, then they had a promotion going on for half off a year. So I got 15 months for $49.50, less than a year of Xbox Live. Then I compare the cars and tracks to buying a new game to play on Xbox Live. So far including subscription I've spent $217.74. But that also doesn't include new computer and steering wheel roughly around $365. So in total just to hit the track I have close to $600 spent. But to me that's really no different than buying a Xbox one, year of Live. iRacing can be expensive but a couple times a year they have half off year long subscriptions, so it'll cost you $49.50 instead of $99. A couple times a year they have bonus credits, which gives you $100 worth of credits for $75 and/or $25 worth of credits for $20. You also get a 10% discount for buying 3-5 pieces of content at once, or better get a $20% discount for buying 6+ pieces of content. Once you have purchased any 40 pieces of content you get a 25% discount from there on out. You also can get participation credits. $4 for running 8 of the 12 weeks for C&D series, $5 for A&B, with I think a max of $10 per season. You also get bonus credits on your year anniversary date. So can you go broke buying tons of content? Absolutely but there really isn't any reason to. Find a series or two you want to run and buy that car and the next 2-3 weeks worth of tracks. You could get away with spending about $40 every month (depending on how many cars you want to run). But after a season once you have most tracks for the cars you want, there's no more fees. The only regrets I have so far is thinking I really wanted to run the road side and buying the Skip Barber and the next 3 weeks worth of tracks. Tried the car, didn't like it. Haven't touched it since. The initial startup costs are high but it's still much cheaper then even trying to race go-karts. Try to actually buy a Modified or Sprint Car and iRacing is chump change.

First Nascar game in years, I'll stick with NR2003. This is my first Nascar game on console in years, was hoping it'd cure my bug till I could get a new PC and wheel for iracing. Unfortunately, this game is a huge let down. The only saving grace for this game is that the online isn't horrendous. The offline game is pretty much unplayable. A 150 lapper at Bristol was my last straw for any hope of offline be playable. The AI pretends you aren't there. Whether that means slamming into you or making it 3-4 wide on tracks like Bristol or Martinsville. A track like Bristol they will pinball you off the wall and other cars till you either spin or are last, while they keep on going like nothing happened. 90% of yellows are caused by the player spinning, the rest are normally the player spinning out a AI car. But most of the time you could slam off a AI car to try and spin them and somehow normally they just keep on going like nothing happened. The game can be fun on tracks like Texas or Auto Club, that are wide enough to give the AI the room they need. Online: The online can be fun, if you can find some good racers. The lobby does need some work though. When you go to the online lobby you see the track (80% are Talladega for some reason lol), number of racers (16 max), laps, flags and damage. However there is no way to know **** is currently racing or waiting on players. Seems most players have no problem racing with 2-3 players, so you spend alot of time joinng a game just to find out that they just started lap 1 or whatever and then you have to back out and try again. Would really be nice if you could see if that room was currently racing and what lap they were on or if once the race started that room disappeared from the list and you were no longer able to join. Overall the game is alright for $20 if you mainly plan to race online or you can handle the ridiculously stupid AI. However it is NOT a sim. And the fact that according to other reviews, most these issues have been here for years is a joke. Hopefully I can find a league to race in to hold me over till I have the funds for a new PC and wheel and can do iracing.
