This game is fantastic and very addictive. I've already put 40 hours into this game and feel that I've only touched 20% of the content. Right from the start, the game does a really good job teaching you the controls (which are super easy to learn - especially for a survival/simulation type game), while gradually showing you different paths you can take in the game. The exploration is a blast! I look forward to it every time I warp to a new system. While many planets share similar characteristics, you occasionally run into a planet that so alien making exploration that more interesting. The interaction with aliens is also kind of cool. While on a planet, there can be a lot to discover. Cataloging animals/vegetation/minerals, responding to distress calls, exploring alien ruins, searching crashed freighters, stocking up on materials or negotiating at a trade post; with all of these available on almost every planet and moon you explore. Finally you can build base(s) and that in itself is a game given how many options are available to you. The more you explore and build in this game, the more likely you will learn new schematics for building ship and base upgrade, as well as tech enhancements for your multi-tool and exosuit (space suit). Space combat I find to be clunky and difficult at first. Just keep in mind that the initial ship is not great for combat, and you can upgrade to something better. Speaking of ships, you can also have giant freighters which you can set mission objectives, whether they are trade, exploration or military. One final note, I'm playing this game as single player, I have not tried the multiplayer so I can't rate that aspect of the game.

Been playing for 2 weeks, and so far I really like this game. It's got an addictive quality, where you want to keep going and do 'one more quest'. First this game is a visual masterpiece, I find myself frequently just walking around and admiring the environment! The music and sound is also great. I also don't find this game as grindy as other mmorpg, I can't quite put my finger on it, maybe it's because it's not difficult to get gear, or that same stats are used for every class, where if you level one, you level them all. Or maybe it's because gear is not everything to get ahead here, as you build up your stats from knowledge accumulated, number of followers and prestige. The combat is great and face-paced with a lot of variety between the different classes available. There are lots of instances available that can be played solo, in groups of 3, in a holy trinity of 5, or in group of 10. The PVP is very enjoyable, even though it's not my thing. All up to the player to choose his preferred play-style; this game has something for everyone. When you become a Junior God in the game, you have a huge choice of things to do that it can be a bit overwhelming. You get invasions, directives, equipment quests, operations and this is in addition to the campaign missions and adventures. Personally I love the choice. I just wish it was a little clearer on the best path to build up your character, but then again, maybe this is done on purpose for the player to explore all the options. I do have some complaints, but they are very minor. There are some bugs in the game, but considering I was playing a beta version, I found it to be very stable. I also find there's some slow down in the game, especially in the heavy action scenes, but this is not a deal-breaker. I'm not sure if it's lag or the graphics. Currently trying to tweak this by disabling some of the advanced video settings. Even though the game is free to play, expect that it will take you four times longer than if you had a premium subscription. You may also need to buy the class you want to get because at start you will only get a choice of 3 (but the first 3 are the best so far in my opinion). if you like mmorpgs, i recommend you give this one a try.

Absolutely love this game. Very original gameplay, lets you tackle situations in a number of ways. The game also lets you know that if you want a better outcome, you should avoid killing to many people so your choices have consequences. This is where the real difficulty of the game lies, trying to find a non-bloody solution to all encounters. The special abilities are also crazy fun to use which include blinking (teleportation), possession and time stopping are some of the bigger abilities given. This game is not linear, as the zones are big and you're encouraged to explore. I do wish it would let you revisit certain areas after you completed a mission but this isn't a deal-breaker as it does make the game highly re-playable. Note that I only played the PS4 edition. Read some of the other reviews and I'm just surprised at the number of negative rants on this game. If the graphics aren't a big upgrade over the PC edition, then so what?! The game looks really good, it has a nicely rendered pre-industrial atmosphere circa 1890. Also so much life is given to all characters, including enemies, as you hear the conversations between thugs, soldiers etc. Reminds me a bit of Bioshock when playing the audio recordings. And to top it all, the story is really entertaining. In any case if you have never played the PS3 or PC edition, and like games like Thief and Bioshock, then give this one a try.

I want to love this game, especially since I have put so much time into it already, as I have been playing since 2.0. However I feel disappointed lately, as I feel not much is being added in terms of innovative, fun content. I'll start off with the games strongest point. The story comes immediately to mind, I never skip any of the cut-scenes as I find them very entertaining. I did enjoy leveling my first class to 60. Another thing I love is the community is for the most part very helpful. Yes there are trolls and elitists, especially when you run dungeons, but overall, compared to other MMORPGs, I have had good experiences with other players. And finally (since I play the PS4 version) I find playing this on console very smooth. You are able to map so many abilities to the controller, which in a sense proves that you can play these types of games on consoles. You can have all jobs on a single character, which is listed as a plus by many other reviewers. Personally I think it's a minus. For example, to make high quality gear as a crafter, you're forced to learn and level all other crafting professions so you can use cross-class skills. For battle-oriented classes, all healers are forced to equip 'Protect' as cross-class skill and all tanks are forced to use 'Provoke' as a cross-class skill. It's the fact that a job can't stand on it's own that bothers me. Also most tanks and most healers and even dps are to similar to other jobs fulfilling the same role. This doesn't make sense to me as the game is not tuned at all for PvP (which is an afterthought in this game - this is primarily a PvE game). But what bothers me the most is the endless grind when you reach end-game content. First thing to note is that you don't really need much skill. It's all about the gear rating. So whenever a patch is added, new gear set with higher potential are released, and to get this gear, you are forced to run the same dungeons over and over again. Also dungeons are linear, so running them after a while becomes a chore. Recently in patch 3.15, the new relic quests (Anima weapons) have just been introduced. To get these, you are forced to run old content for months if you are a casual player. No new instances was added or anything to make it interesting or at least less tedious. Another concern is that I have no idea when the next major patch is coming out or what it will be about. It's as if any innovations/additions to the game have been put on hold for a long time, and I'm seriously considering unsubscribing at this point.

Definitely one of my favorite games for PS4. The awesome combat system, the beautiful graphics and that eerie Victorian horror atmosphere, it's all top notch! There are a ton of secrets in this game, as well as 3 possible endings, which makes this game very replayable. Now comparing this to Dark Souls 2 SotFS game which I just played before it, i will say that Bloodborne is hard, but not frustrating. This is because of the new battle system that's in place which is fast and aggressive (unlike DS which is defensive). Also Bloodborne gives you the choice right off the bat should you want to play online or offline. This is a big plus since you need to basically unplug your router / unplug internet / sign out of PSN connection to trick DS2 into offline mode. My point here is that Bloodborne does not force you into unwanted PvP like DS2 does. In any case, my only critiques of the game (and this is minor nitpicking on my part): Ranged weapons don't do much damage, even when upgraded, so I find myself using them rarely. Also, there is no tank / caster builds in this game like in other games, but I suspect this is to stay inline with the Victorian era atmosphere. Last but not least, I find myself unable to summon NPCs in offline mode, not sure if this is a bug or not. However, having already beat the game and being halfway into NG+ solo, I don't think it's a big loss.

Overall it's a good addition to the Souls series Good - Huuuuuge world! It would still be huge even if they didn't include all 3 DLCs - you rarely get invaded by other players in your first play through, that is before you reach Soul Level 150 - PvP and covenants can be fun, I enjoyed dueling other players on the bridge - great coop feature in this game, there usually are summons available when you need them - you have just as much, if not more customization options compared to DS1. - no framerate issue (I hear this is a problem in PS3 version) Bad: - invasions can get annoying later in the game, as they happen often, even in hollow form, and therefore feel forced. Personally I started to play offline in NG+ - the controls are clunky when compared DS1 and Demon Souls. For example there seems to be some awkward pause from the time you press L1 to block to the time you actually start moving - there are some really bad lag issues in PvP - no balance in PvP as game strongly encourages certain builds, spell casters and those who wield quick small weapons have the advantage; having a tank who wields an ultra great-sword is a definite nono Ugly - I am not impressed by the graphics. When DS1 came to PS3, it was ahead of it's time in terms of visuals - The atmosphere of dark melancholy that DS1 had, just seems to be missing in DS2, nor does it have that feeling of terror from Demon Souls. I can't quite explain it.

Thank you Blizzard for bringing Diablo 3 to PS3. Also owning the PC version, I am noticing many vast improvements over the PC version. 1. True offline play 2. No Auction House, also the loot that drops is better and more relevant to your character, as well as less useless loot to clutter your inventory. 3. The game seems to be so much smoother than the PC version; which I am surprised considering on PC i was playing the game with a Gefore GTX 650 on medium settings at 1920 x 1080 4. The game can set to be more challenging right from the start in PS3, Only one difficulty to choose from at start for PC, and it's to easy. 5. The UI on PC could not be configured properly if playing the game on an Plasma HDTV. The buttons and loot description are too small to read. This is not an issue with the PS3 version 6. More of a personal preference, but I prefer to play this game with a controller than with a point and click interface. The only thing that prevents me from giving the game a 10 is the level randomization and random events throughout the game. This game could have been done with more random events and levels. Act 3 and 4 still feel like there's not much randomness to them. Otherwise this is a near perfect game for me.
