Internet connection errors make the game unplayable in 30 minutes I was only able to play one song and it crashed halfway as well. DO NOT BUY! The bad thing is last year the 2024 did the exact same thing, it's like they don't even test it.

On myPC(3080ti, 7800x3d) it runs flawlessly around locked at 50-60fps on 4k. Yeah you need a modern PC to run a modern game, shocker! I'm happy with the performance as it's pretty stable.
I'm also yet to have a crash or bug other than every now and then a body will get stuck in ground and over played 25 hours.
The game itself is game of the 2020s for me, very atmospheric and great exploration and rpg mechanic. Reminds me of when fallout 3 first came out and the feeling of exploring and never knowing what was up ahead. Also extra points for not making it easy so casual players can play but the rest of us suffer like every other modern game. The difficulty is spot on on the medium setting, a little easy in combat but overall very good (except for mutants that need 3 clips to take down)

I would give it a 8 if it weren't for the greedy casino tactics making it basically essential to use real money to get the best cars or grind for 24 hours per car. It's a shame because there is an ok game in there if they made an actual career mode and rewarded skill but instead we get this rubbish.

this is the first game in years that gets a 10 from me. Dark souls turned up to 11 and they fixed all the annoying things about the previous games like giving restarts closer to bosses. The world is awesome and exploration feels so great that its on par with Red dead 2 or the witcher 3. Must have game for anoyone calling them selves a gamer. graphics are Dark souls nothing more nothing else needed, stop complaining. it runs a little choppy and inconsistent on ps5 and even worse now after the 1.02 patch 4 days after release.

This is a solid game with lots to do, it's engine is not very well optimised and so it runs 1080p, but in their defence there is a lot of stuff going on physics wise and graphically.
The game has lost a little atmosphere that the first had but it's still a great large game. A must buy on release date, but in a few weeks the big games start to drop so they knew they had to ship now or they would have had to wait until late 2022. It will get swallowed in the sea of big games about to drop. On PS5 I have had no crashes at all and I'm 30 hours in. Graphics wise I'm sure a PC could run 4k 60fps fine, you have to remember the ps5 is already last gen PC hardware it's basically as powerful as a rtx 2070. On PS5 the 60fps mode is pretty ugly and only 1080p as well. But it looks as if it it just using the last games engine with everything turned up a little. Textures are pretty low res as well, when you get close to posters and etc you can't even read them.

Why do people keep buying these remasters, especially these kinds where they don't actually do anything to the game. It's these people's fault the game industry just pumps out this rubbish. Can't play for more than 5 minutes as it crashes or locks up. Seems to be exactly like the last one just with a new map. The same wheel settings bugs are even in there from the last 2 games. But even if it ran ok, the problem is that the handling is like playing a mobile game now and all the cars feel the same there is no way this game can get anything above a 7 out of 10 from a respectable journalist. It's basically part 4 with more arcade and less realistic Handling

A blatant cash grab. It's just shockingly bad. A game about drag racing where you can't even modify the car in any meaningful way and with no tuning. What is the target audience here, is it 12 year Olds or is it people in to cars because there is nothing here for car lover's. Sure you get to drag race so you get a 2, but where is the rest of the game, and the amount you are charging is ridiculous , there are AAA games on ps5 for the same price at the moment.

A cut down version of prey or dishonoured, very stylish and great in the first 5 hours but then there is no more progression or meat to the game play. It's just very bland shooter with hardly any puzzle elements and powers are not even needed really. It's also rushed and buggy and performs badly. It's ok for a few hours hence a 7 but I shouldn't have paid full price, this is a game to play when you have nothing else left that is top notch.

There isn't much depth in this game and the xploration is not very rewarding. They needed to add a bit more tatical character building stuff that you needed to use on harder difficulty for the adults and hardcore gamers. As it is now it's perfect for a casual gamer or kids, but of you don't fit in to those categories then you will be bored pretty quickly like I was.

this is a big step backwards from Oddessy and Origins. The stealth has even less of a emphasis now and its never really explained to you again that you should be stealth through the cities you find. they assume you have played the last two. even on the harder difficulty i never had a need to use stealth at all for any part of the game, so the game becomes extremely shallow very quickly. if you haven't played either of the last 2 games then buy one of them instead they are much better in every way.

Free or not, that means nothing to me I don't rate games based on how much they cost anyway. This is an annoying game because it could have been great but the story just does nothing to help to pull you along and the combat is very shallow. Also the basic game loop of exploring and leveling is ok but gets repetitive very quickly. Is a shame because if they just added some depth to the combat and made the missions scale to you level instead of insisting on massive leaps in level between missions it would be a good game. But the other main problem is there is way to little of the scripted story missions and the game just expects you to explore and grind. That would be fine if the world was engaging but like I said it gets boring quickly.

Some of the best car physics going now. Great long tracks and varied locations and a career mode! This is in my opinion much better that dirt rally 2, the cars are much more realistic handling and there is more of everything here. the weather and tracks make this game so good, and the length of the some stages is insane, some of them are 20KM long so almost every race is fresh. one thing it could do more with is cars, there isn't as many old school cars as Dirt 2 but its only a small thing. the only reason i don't score it a 9 is becasue the graphics are a bit dated even on PS5 version and there is a issue with the lighting in which everything is very dark, to the point where i have to adjust my $2500 gaming monitor(point to prove its not my monitor or only me this is happening to) every time to everything on max to play this game. and this is a known issue that has never been fixed and is all over forums. its not that big of a deal as long as you don't have a dark monitor that can't be adjusted for some reason. note: I'm playing on a wheel so no idea about controller feel. also playing on PS5 and it runs very smooth but has some weird checkboarding through glass and makes cockpit view unplayable as breaks the graphics level badly this happens on the balanced and 4k modes but not on 1080p 120Hz mode, not sure a base ps4 would run this game well though.

A cheap version of the division 2 and destiny 2, without the open exploration or character progression depth of modern games. The gun play in mass effect Andromeda is better and that is more of a action RPG than a loot and shoot. It had potential if they just made the levels open and allowed exploration. The way it is now is like playing a PS3 era game.
If you want a loot and shooter get remnant from the ashes or The Division 2 or even one of the borderlands instead of this garbage. Almost every other game in this genre is better than this.

Ignore all the haters who are probably trying to play this on ancient hardware, or have some kind of SJW soy attack. This is a good game with a immersive world and deep character building. The wow factor alone of the graphics detail is worth the price but to enjoy it your really need a high end GPU like a 3080 or better. And the main story is great. There are problems though which is why it gets a 8. The side quests as far as I can tell are all useless other than for farming components and cash, you aren't told about what rewards they will give you and there is no real combat mechanic to drive you to do the sidequests to get better gear or upgrades. There is also no explanation on what side quests will offer as a reward, so you end up not doing them because I want to do stuff that builds my character not just to hear story. The world also feels a little dead, you never really have a exploration sense of, ohh I wonder what will happen around this corner like you get in other well done open worlds. Right now on 1.6 it is much better than it was on release but it's still a bit empty feeling. Combat on high difficulty is challenging enough, but the game never gives you a real reason to use skills, mods or hacks. You can just use a shotgun the whole game easily if you wanted. They needed to force players to use hacks and stealth instead by making half of the enemies have bullet shields or something. This would have made the game a much better experience, because it would have forced us to play tactically, but as it is now the combat is just ok, nothing more. also the hacks seem a bit over powered once you get in to some advanced gear and level up. This is the biggest problem for me, I don't really care about story much for me it's about the challenge and building a kick ass character and this game doesn't really give you a need to. Also the crafting system is never really explained and you have to figure it out which is annoying because you keep thinking you might be missing out on something. In terms of performance if you have a modern PC with decent specs the game looks awesome and runs smooth. I'm getting 60fps on high RT you just need to turn a couple things down to medium. (Fog and cascaded shadows)

so many bugs on core stuff like Logitech G29 support is broken on PS4 and it keeps fluctuating the FFB settings. No KB or app support and other little annoying things. The biggest problems though are 1. the framerate is terrible on PS4 Pro, its going as low as 5 FPS sometimes or even skipping frames and you just get teleported up the track. 2. The online is not up, only compeition servers which are not configurable and you have to wait about 30 mins just to be able to register for. And before that you need to get your SA up to 70 which takes about 10 hours. this was obviously done on purpose because they didn't have servers ready at launch which is Refund level bad i would say as it doesn't do what it says on the **** they fixed the online and the Framerate dropping so low then i would give it a 9 because the driving is the best on console by quite a bit. but at the moment its unplayable online and even in single player the framerate issue makes it hard to play

The Last of Us Part II2
Jun 27, 2020
this game is all about the story because the game play is very shallow. its basically a ps3 style exploration action game straight out of 2012. Even uncharted has better game play because at least there is puzzles in that. this is just explore, look for ammo, gun fight, rinse and repeat with nothing new and stupid AI to boot. there is also no real skill tree because you can play the whole game with the pistol no need to level up any of the useless skills and weapons they give you either because it means nothing. the first couple of hours were enjoyable but then the story just starts being really stupid and its poorly written, unbelievable and just rubbish. there are so many other directions they could have took with it that would have made everyone much happier( i'm not really a fan so i don't care they killed off characters, but its just a predictable and shallow story that instead of taking you along with the main charcter, just makes you not really care. I'm all for revenge but its just been done a million times and weak. the main problem with this game though is that so many reviewers have given it 10 out of 10. there is no way even if you are fan of this style of game and this series that this is a ten its a 8 at most mostly for the fact that the game play is so stale, exploration is like a 10 year old game with invisible walls of grass or vines everywhere, you can even jump on cars or anything they haven't scripted which is just lazy game world making for a exploration game there is very little to explore as its all just open air wall corridors on one level. Its like a game from the early 2000's. So how can you give it a 10 that is just poor journalism. another Massive problem with the game is that the level design is so linear and basic its just not acceptable for even a indie game let alone something with this budget in 2020. In the age of Dark souls, Bloodbourne, Tomb Raider and Jedi Fallen order we have a game which sends you down tiny little paths with invisible walls of vines, come ON! and they are giving it a 10/10. I don't understand those reviews, they must be scared if reviewing it poorly other wise they might think people would think they are anti LGBT, and the whole gay thing is way overplayed on this they make such big deal about it, instead of treating it with respect and just being normal about it instead they hinge whole story arcs on it. Graphics and sound are really good but its not enough carry it through the rubbish game play and story, probably wouldn't rate it so low, but the 10's are lies so here is a 2

I can't remember much of the story from the original as it's been so long which is probably a good thing anyway from what I hear some people complaining about a twist they don't like. This story is good but very slow to unwind and there are a lot of tedious side quests where it's just a fetch quest basically. The game is good in the combat, but the rpg elements are shallow and not much depth in the upgrade tree. Also because it's not a full game you get left with only a fraction of the materia combos it seems. Visually some parts are awesome and others really dull, it's like they ran out of time so just threw stuff in quickly. Also one thing that annoyed me is that we need to wait for the next chapter now, and the last chapter with the back and forth between teams was super annoying because it doesn't give you ease of life stuff like remembering materia equipped or letting you change it during a battle which causes a lot of cheap deaths. Overall it's a average rpg caught up in a very liniair World. If this has another title on the box almost everyone would give it a 7 out of 10 as well.

Playing for first time and reviewing in 2020. A lot to explore and do and it's a fairly good game. It's got some pretty good atmosphere and a ok story and feel to the world. Not as good as dying light in terms of atmosphere and gameplay but it has a lot to offer, especially at the price it sells for now. I'm actually have a really good time with it at the moment and it has something that is hard to explain but its like a old school open world on PC or something in which you never know what is around the corner, it makes exploring awesome. What it's let down by is the controls which are a little clunky and amateur. Fighting and shooting is very basic in a age of God Of War and the hundred or so good shooters around. With this much money behind them it's a little weird the combat is this average. Also, THERE IS NO JUMP BUTTON! this is a big sign to the experienced gamer tells you they designed a 2 dimensional open world. The game is ok but if they spent time making the combat a bit more rewarding and involving and added some better character specialisation skill tree stuff it would be a complete game. Basically it just lacks polish and you can tell it was rushed by the publisher. I think a sequel would be very good if they get enough time to work on it properly.

A game for mature players that dont have to shoot something every 10 seconds to enjoy a videogame. Excellent in almost every way and is just let down by lack of depth to mission requirements and no skill tree or way to spend xp(likes) so getting xp is pointless. That said the gameplay is a excellent mix of exploration, inventory management strategy and a risk vs reward terrain traversal game loop. Also dark souls style hint sharing with ability to share building and items adds a community feel to the game. Only gripes about it are that it becomes a bit repetitive in the last half of the game and its difficulty curve is weird. It starts off really difficult and then gets easier as it goes on in large sections of the game and you dont really have a need for your cool new toys by the last half of the game except for some excellent mountain missions. Also no replay value because once you have explored the map there is no point playing anymore, i found myself only doing story missions and no side ones as I just wanted to go to the next area. 8.5/10 but on here a ten to counteract the zero bombs. Deserves a quick playthrough by all serious gamers as its very unique and the world is very immersive.

If you like Japan and Japanese RPGs I'm pretty sure you will agree that with me that this is the best game ever made. I spent 120 hours in the playthrough and it never felt grindy and except for maybe the last 10 or so I was always discovering new things. This is definitely the best game I have played in years and possibly ever, I have been playing video games for 35 years so this says a lot. Everything is spot on and so balanced, it shows it age and development time a bit in graphics, but apart from that I can't imagine how to make a better jrpg, simply amazing....

All the rpg elements have been stripped out of the game leaving a action game which you can acquire new attacks in. The boss fights are overly difficult compared to bloodborne or souls because many of the battles rely on you have very good timing to parry attacks. And it just becomes annoying unlike previous games where if you died it felt like your fault, and you could go away and level up or get new weapons or shields and etc and come back. Here you just have to keep bashing your head against the wall and hope for the best. The parry and break stance mechanic you need to beat bosses just feels cheap and annoying because there is no way most bosses can ever be beaten on first try like in their other games and it takes so long to wear some of them down and then a lot of times that can one hit you and you have to start over from a spawn point that takes 5-10 minutes to reach the boss again.. I just could not be FD after about 10 hours in and moved on to other games that are actually fun to play. Its a shame as there was massive potential here if they just spent time balancing the boss fights and adding a character build system to give players options.

I agree with most being said here from the average score reviews, i got up to chapter 6 and just couldn't find any reason to keep playing. Its painfully obvious where the story is going by about chapter 3. And with no real RPG or character progression elements you get bored of just riding around. The game also makes the weird choice of making it almost impossible to be bad as the penalty is too high and there is no point either to doing so. This makes the game very linear and not very fun like in a GTA title or other modern games that give you true freedom. But the worst flaw in this game is decade old controls, this works in GTA because you do a lot of driving which controls well in that game but in this game in 2018 it feels very amateur and clunky. This would have been a masterpiece if they could have added some decent career progression, fixed the controls and made the world more dynamic and your actions actually made impacts on people and the world. I have no idea how this scores 10/10 from almost every game reviewer, they must have got some serious swag and or money for it. realistically its a 7/10 or 8 at best only because it is still pretty fun to ride around especially in the first 5 hours. With the amount of AAA excellent titles that have recently come out, this game feels like its not in the same class against these recent titles in every area. Graphics are generally good but character models are pretty poor for this day an age and graphics don't make a good game.
