Homefront: The Revolution

I was really, REALLY wanting to enjoy this game, but I can't. Even the first Homefront was better than this. Homefront: The Revolution has a lot of really good ideas, and while it might execute most of them decently, the performance and glitches make this game almost unplayable, and it's why I can't recommend it.

To be honest, for the first time, I don't know if I like this game. I have played though it twice, and I still feel like there was just something missing for me to fully enjoy it. A lot of it's concepts are nice, but it is too repetitive and too short for me to recommend it. Pick it up once the price hits $20 or so, And this is from someone who loves platinum too. I even loved Transformers Devastation. But this, I cannot love unfortunately.

Overwatch is the first online only game I have actually enjoyed. It's a class based multiplayer only fps that feels both modern and old school at the same time. The heroes are really balanced. Picking the right hero for each situation is vital for your team to win. There are 21 heroes and 10 maps at launch. As far as optimization goes, I have had no issues running the game even on my Intel HD 5500, which is a terrible card. Overall, at launch I would only recommend this at $40 because of there not being very much content. But in the future, when more heroes and maps are added, this game will become even better, and hopefully even worth the full $60 of the origins edition.

This game is a BIG improvement over the original, but there are still some major problems. I will be covering the hopefully in detail. Single Player: Single Race: Pick between 5 modes and play tracks you have unlocked for those modes. There are around 35 ish tracks which is a big improvement over last years game, which only had 17. Career: A total of 18 series spanning the race and rhythm racing game modes. It should take you around 15 hours to complete. Multiplayer: Local Multiplayer: Basically, it's single race mode, but in split screen (2 players only). Online: HOLY **** THIS MODE IS BROKEN! the only time I managed to join a server, I was met with lag and glitches. But hey, it is at least more balanced than the 360/ps3 versions. Race modes: Nationals: Race in 12 tracks ripped straight from Alive. they are still fun, even though there are framerate issues on them. Free Ride: Race on all of the tracks in the game (except for nationals tracks) they are open world and you are free to explore them. Great for practicing the tracks. Supercross: The main meat of the game. 17 tracks most of which are well designed. Waypoint: 4 Open world tracks that let you take your own route to each waypoint. Fun but short mode. Rhythm Racing: 5 straight tracks where the only focus is to find the fastest rhythm to the finish. Pros: -Great and improved physics. -Fun track design -Lots of variety -Lots of content -Great customization Cons: -Bad framerate sometimes -Glitchy online multiplayer -Sometimes questionable glitches. Most of my problems come from the game's technical issues which, hopefully can be fixed in a patch. Hope you enjoyed my review! 7/10

Although this is a SASRT clone, it comes from a big AAA dev meaning they have the budget to make it good. All of the mechanics and modes from SASRT return, plus they added new ones. The new modes are pretty fun and all of the new mechanics have a Skylanders twist to them. So, if you are still hanging around for the wii, this is still pretty fun, and you shouldn't feel bad about getting a different version.

First of all, I LOVE THIS GAME! BUT, there are a few things I have to address. First of all, a minor problem, is that you cant easily find your friends' courses. second of all, a BIG problem, is that a ton of stuff is locked from the start. Including the premade levels. you have to spend time in the editor to unlock new stuff. I had spent 3 HOURS in the editor until I unlocked my first sample level. the same thing goes for editor items too, but to a lesser extent. but overall those problems effected me little from creating fun levels and sharing them with the world. it's worth it. even with the problems.

I love this collection. It has tons of really good games. but my problem is some games have some framerate issues. they are mostly minor. Mostly. Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts has MAJOR framerate problems. In the world hub, it drops to around 15. Split-screen drops to single digits. so if you are buying this for Nuts & Bolts, well, the game **** anyway so don't buy it for that.

This was my first PS4 game. And I don't think this game deserves 9s and 9.5s/10. But that's not to say that this isn't a bad game. This is a very solid and fun effort from Rocksteady. Just don't get the PC version.

Gotta love that single digit framerate on a GTX 970. Don't get me wrong. This is a good game on consoles. But the PC version is literally unplayable on launch. Don't buy this game on PC right now until it is patched. If you have one, pick this game up on consoles. it is a great game on consoles. And the only game I would say is better on consoles.

If you liked the IOS/Android versions, you will like this version even more. I first played this on Android and I didn't like it that much only because of the micro transactions. But thankfully, the Xbox One & PS4 versions remove all of them and I had lots more fun. They even added a couple of modes such as 6-Player Split Screen and Daily Challenges. But at the end of the day, It is just a Mario Kart/Diddy Kong Racing Clone. A decent clone, but a clone nonetheless.

This is quite possibly the worst MX Vs. ATV game ever. The main two problems are the glitches and the physics. This game is FULL of glitches and the physics make it worse. Those two things ruin the game for me. (BTW let me ask you a question: Do you like whips or scrubs? Yes? Well, either download the Whip DLC or grind and grind for hours on end until you get it. Have fun!)

I don't think this game deserves the rating this has. not the best mario game ever and DEFINITELY NOT AS GOOD AS ANY OF THE NES GAMES. the platforming feels so different to what I am used to. and sometimes mario just controls against you like not jumping as high as you want even though you KNOW he can jump that high. and no sprint button. how are you going to do speedruns when they took the sprint button out. and another thing, the game is $60!!!!! overpriced... get super luigi u's standalone disk. it is only $30 and is more optimized for speedruns. plus the disk has 82 all new levels

a very fun multiplayer shooter with a nice community and a great variety of game modes. first is welcome mat. a standard team deathmatch but the more you **** the more health you will gain at spawn next is team vanquish. it is just standard team deathmatch next is gardens and graveyards. the developers claim it is a mix of conquest and rush from battlefield but i think of it being more like overrun from gears of war judgement. next is classic team vanquish. it is team vanquish but customized and unlocked characters are not allowed next is classic gardens and graveyards. it is classic team vanquish but with gardens and graveyards. next is mixed mode. it says it is a mix of team vanquish and gardens and graveyards but i haven't played it yet. no one is playing it. next there is gnome bomb. so your team spawns with 3 gardens (or graveyards if you are playing as a zombie) and a bomb will spawn in the middle of the map. you have to get the bomb and destroy the enemy CP. the first team to destroy the opposing team's 3 CPs wins. and finally there is garden ops mode. it is a classic horde mode but you can plant plants that would act as towers in a tower defense game to defend your garden if your garden gets destroyed you lose. there are also card packs which you can buy with the coins you earned in the game. these card packs include plants (or zombies) which you can grow to act as towers to defend your base in the tower defense mode and you can get new items to customize your characters and get new characters entirely. the classes fell balanced and the games are fun so overall i think this is a good game worth the $30 I paid for it. my only complaints are the game can slow down in the areas where tons of explosions are, and the game requires Xbox Live Gold to play it. and the graphics are fine as the game runs on the frostbite 3 engine. overall, it gets an 8/10.

now here is a message to the people who bought the game and complained about it being too short. Hideo Kojima told us before the game came out that the game was going to be short. the gameplay is GREAT and the game actually has replay value. you get to explore a military base with TONS of secrets that can unlock secret missions, adding replayability. the graphics on the 360 version are amazing. this game is not crysis or the witcher but the game looks good. the textures are really muddy though. the game runs at a very smooth 30 fps. the cutsenes do lag but are great and the gameplay is solid. the A.I is amazing and the new reflex mode makes the game go into slow-mo whenever you get caught allowing you to kill or tranquilize the enemy with a headshot before he sets off the alarm. this makes the game easier and more forgiving. but the game does sometimes glitch making your bullet go right through the enemy. but to those mgs fan boys if you dont like the reflex mechanic, you can turn it off in the options menu. also another change to the game is that it now has regenerative health. but if you take a big hit, your health won't regenerate until you spray it with medical spray. overall the game was a nice prologue showing off the game's mechanics and kept me enjoyed for about 15 hours. also if you are able to, get the downloadable version of the game from xbox live. it is cheaper than the $30 retail version. instead it is $20 plus tax.

As much as I hate to say it, Dragon Ball Z: Battle Of Z is mediocre to say the least. in Battle Of Z you can fight in very nicely designed arenas. The same thing applies in the story mode only in the story mode you fight agenst bots. UNFORTUNATELY the combat is very dull. It is your standard 3 button combat with a special move. graphics are dull on the xbox 360 with terrible textures but surprisingly decent lighting. the multiplayer is unballanced. and the AI in the single player is terrible. even though it does have some fun times playing with friends and addictive leveling up system DBZ:BOZ is alright in my oppinion. NOT GREAT but good. if you want it, pick it up in a sale, it is not worth the $60 price tag.
