this is a awesome place for the resident evil series to be going and honestly i was blown away by this game. its so goated, its so baller, it gives a resident evil fan anything they could ever want. i think in the recent mainline games (7,8, now 9) this is 100% the best, and is nearly as great as re4r. also playing this for the first time i was so happy that it just kept on going, it always felt like it was going to wrap up then on it goes and man every single leon section was again so baller.

genuinely such an unnerving game. i wasn't expecting it to deliver as much unease as it did but man this was put together so well. the atmosphere is incredible and being completely out of place in this world you don't understand really benefits the story and don't even get me started on the writing. every line is punchy and meaningful, all of the notes and story you pick up as you play is so interesting. very very good game 9/10

I was so invested in this world that I played through all of it in a single sitting. I could not put it down, I was so curious about everything and just in love with the worldbuilding and all that there is going on. The puzzles were fun if not a bit too easy and anticlimactic for how much work you do to set them up, and the enemies kinda just detracted from being able to slow down and really take in the world. Like everybody else says, the gameplay just isn't the greatest. However, its all forgivable just for the vibes.

The best story game I have every played, hands down. Art direction is sick, characters all feel very real everything is so so so sick. There is so much lore and cool **** built into this game, hours upon hours of world building everything. The progression system is super satisfying and it feels like you're fully a part of the world. So many moments hold so much weight, all feels special and man this game made me cry and nearly cry so many times. BE VIGILANT. I LOVE YOU.
