Sonic Forces3

This game is worse than Sonic 06. Not because fundamentally worse than Sonic 06, but because Sonic Forces is so **** boring that it is immediately worse.
A bad game like Sonic 06 is at least funny. It's so bad that it's good, and because of that it isn't boring. Being boring is genuinely the worst thing that a video game, hell, any piece of media can be, and Sonic Forces is certainly no exception.
Sonic Forces had potential, a lot of it actually, but Sonic Team botched it again, go figure.

Mario Party Superstars10

THEY DID IT!!!! THEY MADE A GOOD MARIO PARTY!!!
This is easily the most fun I've had with a Mario Party game in years. Me and my friends always get together and play this game, and it's an unforgettable experience every time. Mario Party at it's finest right here - ending friendships in the funniest ways possible. The items, boards, and mini-games are just as **** as they were back in the good ol' days.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U7

It's fine, but compared to the other Smash games, this just doesn't have much substance.
Brawl has subspace, Ultimate has spirits and all the characters, Melee has the competitive edge, and 64 is the first game so it gets free points blah blah blah.
Smash 4 just... doesn't stand out. The moment that Smash Ultimate came out, everyone immediately dropped this game, and for good reason. After all, it is still a Smash game, so it's obviously fun, but it's not as good as the others in the series.

Mario Kart Wii9

One of the most exciting and rage inducing games in the Mario Kart series. Like any other Mario Kart game, this is a very in depth game. Different vehicle types and play styles, item strategies, and driving techniques. However, the tight controls and item balancing make this game special. It's definitely an easy game to learn, but hard to master, and I have nothing but respect for games like this. Playing multiplayer is one hell of a time, online and local multiplayer. The absurd amount of items can be frustrating, but it's so fun to work around the items coming your way and strategize your game plan with the items you get. Combine that with an extremely improved track selection from DS (mainly with the retro tracks, no offense to the DS nitro tracks) and with the large and amazing selection of characters and vehicles, and you got yourself a phenomenal Mario Kart game.

Sonic: Lost World7

This game is amazingly average. Perfectly just okay. A 7/10 at best.
It's fun enough, but the level themes are boring, the concept is eerily similar to Super Mario Galaxy, and the new villains are honestly pretty ugly and annoying. (I guess that makes it fun to beat them up, but that's besides the point.
I do want to say that this game has fairly good level design and gameplay. The parkour is honestly really cool, even if it isn't perfect. The soundtrack is also one of the most underrated in the whole series.
If you don't decide to play this game, you probably aren't missing out on much, but it's fun enough to run through if you care to play it.

Sonic Mania Plus8

It's no doubt that this is something the Sonic series really needed. The game builds upon all the classics, and improves on every aspect of gameplay and music. The only issue I have with this game is just how unoriginal it is. It's very fun, but almost every level theme is just taken from the older games. The level designs are new, but the music and visuals are merely just remixed versions of the classic stages. I'm not trying to say the game is bad, not at all. I'm just trying to say that originality would've been far better. The Sonic franchise during this time period was flooded in nostalgia-bait, and having more original levels would've been a million times better.

Sonic Colors9

This game is one of the most fun Sonic games I have ever played. The level design and mechanics are some of the best in the series, and it is extremely well designed. The levels are actually fast too, like how Sonic games should be. The game right before this (Sonic Unleashed) was so **** slow because of the stupid Werehog stages. The gimmicks in this game, the wisps, are actually fun to use and add to the level design of normal Sonic stages, which is why these levels are so in depth and fun to plow through. Getting a good rank in this game isn't based on your time, rather it's based on the score you have at the end of a level. That's why using wisps, collecting rings, star rings, and defeating enemies is encouraged. Unlike Forces, which Colors gets compared to a lot, this game actually has level design built to prevent you from holding boost through the entire level. Platforming in this game isn't as difficult as people make it out to be either. Sonic games in this time period are easy to learn and hard to master. Generations is very similar in this aspect, and both are perfectly fine in platforming sections, in fact they're actually pretty fun.
If the reviews for this game are giving you a bad impression, then at least give it a shot. I'll admit that the game may be a little bit overrated, but it's far more fun than some of these negative reviews are saying. This truly is one of the most fun Sonic games that I've personally ever played, and just goes to show how amazing the boost gameplay can be.
At least give this game some credit for the amazing soundtrack. I think all mainline Sonic games at least share that in common.
