This recurring issue can be quite frustrating, making it a less enjoyable experience for players seeking a cohesive and straightforward adventure. This Soulslike game strives for uniqueness but disappoints in execution. Its shortcuts offer little advantage, and the absence of weapon skill progression, despite fully upgrading the boss weapon Lightreapers swords in the end game, i still have the same moveset that i had when using other short swords. Its a good game just those 2 cons made the game feel repetitive.

And its all because of this game, he didn't like it though so now i have the ps5 back. I played through all the titles in chronological order, with the exception of DS2, which I had played before DS1. I even went as far as renting a PS5 to play Demon's Souls and Bloodborne. Despite enjoying all of these fantastic games, I find myself consistently crawling my juicy ass back to this one. Its lore, simplicity, and freedom are all profoundly captivating. It's an absolutely astounding game, with the only drawback being its occasional clunkiness, which I don't care for since the game is just that good.
