Mario Tennis Aces is fantastic. The gameplay stays incredibly fun and becomes more and more engaging the better you get. At first a lot of the shots/specials can feel a bit overwhelming, but if you stick at it you can manage to return even the deadliest of shots and it feels damn good doing so. Great character pool being added to constantly with each character having unique strengths and weaknesses with interesting quirks (looking at you, Boo) meaning you can spend hours playing as a character until even getting decent on them. The adventure mode is a bit lacking and I wouldn't really suggest this game for single player use unless you're a big fan of online matches, but for local/casual multiplayer it stays fantastic and it's a hard game to beat for us when thinking about what to do. Have played it daily since it came out and no intention of stopping any time soon - we've even set up a 'tournament' spreadsheet and play our own grand slams! Really great game, can't big it up enough. Only minor criticism is that the online tournaments don't really have any reward or encouragement to rank highly which can sometimes leave the online play feeling a little flat.

Very fun game! Perhaps a little pricey for what you get, but overall a solid game which is keeping me coming back for more and more. Been playing this with my boyfriend for hours every day since release and it's staying just as fun each time with a very unique cast of characters to pick from and some very cool new games to play. The board game mode in general unfortunately does feel a little lacking in this edition, but the rafting event is wonderfully fun and the 'Mariothon' keeps playing random games exciting and competitive. Very good game.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. If you liked the original three Crash games then you're going to love this, as that's exactly what it is! Feels great to play with the Switch controllers (personally I preferred using a pro controller, but the joycons work well too) and the handheld mode feels incredibly natural. I spent hours playing through this as soon as it had finished downloading and just couldn't put it down - a great package of nostalgia and charm whilst being a constant blast to play. Didn't find either of the two new levels very exciting but I think they're aimed for slightly more hardcore gamers given the difficulties.

Very solid game. Surprising amount of depth and consistently challenging gameplay for the average gamer, with tricky puzzles and difficult boss fights providing a unique set of obstacles for all types of players. The only real issue I ever found with this game is that it's rather short, but given how cheap it is I think that's definitely acceptable. Very charming and beautifully designed game which I'd definitely recommend for a weekend or two of immersive fun.

Overall decent game with some exciting gameplay but a lot of flaws. The fighter pool feels fairly expansive but ends up becoming stale rather quickly as there isn't a lot of variance in how each individual character can be played, and a lot of the time certain match-ups can feel very limiting in enjoying the game properly. The gameplay is fun up to a point and the aesthetic of the game is wonderful, but it was tough to find a reason to keep playing past the first few days.

Very exciting gameplay which stays constantly challenging and leaves you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire play-through. Once you start getting good at the game every single fight will feel like a huge moment and Bayonetta's movement feels very fluid. Steep learning curve for sure with some frustrating gameplay moments and the story is quite slow at some points, but overall very good game.

I tried really hard to like this game as it's incredibly charming and a very cool concept, but ended up finding it clunky, lacking in depth, and worst of all just very repetitive. Maybe if it was considerably cheaper I'd have expected a bit less from the game but definitely a disappointment all-around. Great soundtrack however.

Ridiculously good game, especially for the price. I was astonished at just how much content and depth this game had and didn't expect to be playing it for weeks, let alone days. The story is constantly engaging whilst always leaving you desperate for more and the gameplay stays incredibly fun but challenging throughout the entire world with enemies scaling very appropriately to your in-game experience levels. My absolute highlight of Hollow Knight is the very creative way that the story is told by Team Cherry through the use of NPCs, lore tablets and other whispers throughout the kingdom, leaving the player with a giant web of loosely connected strands to string together in their own way. And not to mention the free DLC releases.

Fantastic. We're still playing this over a year after release with no intention of stopping. Endless replay value with features that remain constantly challenging (damn those 200CC staff ghosts) and tonnes of fun to relax with some light-hearted battle modes. Whilst it is true that this port hasn't added a whole lot to the Wii U version, that doesn't stop it from being a great game in its own right and it's definitely a decent upgrade with great graphics and a much more interesting item system in races.

Amazing game. I'm finding myself constantly surprised by just how much SMO has had to offer and am still playing regularly a long time after release. The controls are intuitive, the level designs are ingenious and the plot/characters make it a whirlwind of fun. I only have two criticisms preventing a solid 10/10 - firstly the multiplayer mode is very lacklustre leaving very little for the Cappy player to occupy themselves with, and secondly it is annoying that some features aren't accessible whilst using a pro controller, but not game-breaking.
