This game was pretty great. The graphics are outstanding- easily the best I've seen on PS4. It almost looks like real life which is amazing. The story was pretty good also- I love the fact that you can have multiple endings depending on your choices. BTW- in this game your choices really matter! One wrong choice or button press and your character dies. My only complaint is that the story got a little crazy in the 2nd half. It went from being a run of the mill horror slasher (SCREAM style) then morphed into a supernatural tale. However, I enjoyed the entire game and think it's well worth a play through for an PS4 owners.

I love Spiderman games- just not this one. This game is awful. The graphics look like Gamecube (although I was playing on my PS4). I really hate when developers push out these licensed games without putting any effort into thier development. Don't buy this game. I got it on Gamefly and sent it back the same day.

I have to admit, when I first booted this game up I was not blown away like I expected to be. I played it for about two hours and was kind of bored wiith it. However, I decided to pick it back up and it turned out to be really good! The first two hours while boring, are meant to set up the long-term story arc for the charachters- which it did. Once the story go going it was very enjoyable and I became addicted to seeing what would happen next. The graphics- although not as good as advertised where still really great. The water and light effects were awesome and I had no lag on my PS4. Chicago was fully realized and my favorite location was Pawnee- a small hick town outside of the main city. I only had a few majore issues with the game, the driving and the fact that you can't shoot a gun and drive. If these two things were fixed I would probobly give the game a 9 instead of an 8. Overall this is a great game that was tons of fun to play. I can't wait for a substantial piece of DLC to hit so I can jump back in and play some more.

Finished this game last night and really enjoyed it. The shooting mechanics are solid and each weapon has a distinct feel. I also thought the OWL was a cool addition (and a MUST HAVE) in difficult firefights. As far as the graphics go- they are beautiful, easily the best I've seen on PS4. The city views are stunning and really help you to feel immersed. The story was OK, nothing new or especially engaging but the ending was memorable. Hint- don't turn off the game when the credits come on! The only other thing I wish the game had was more side missions. Sure you can collect comic pages, newspapers and audiologs but I never really felt the need to look around or explore. Overall a fun experience and worth a playthrough but not a game I'd buy and invest a 2nd run-through in.
