The Game features done light-hearted story featuring two parents who while being about to divorce... [Intro Spoiler: The Two are instead dragged down to an adventure as a result to a pure hearted wish for them to be friends again, that wish we heard by a funky and silly book which answered the prayer by challenging the two main parent protagonists into a series of collaborative adventures]. The game is a light hearted adventure where the two characters are faced by a series of challenges that take two to complete, it is an adventure that definitely deserve the price. The game isn't particularly challenging for solo standards but definitely requires some synchronization for optimal play, I really wish there were more games like this on the market since it fulfills a fantasy that has almost been long Lost in gaming of modern day. I would encourage you to pick it up and try it out, there is a demo available too. This game is easy to get into with low to medium gaming knowledge so any other for the most part would be comfortable. Puzzles are intuitive and ready to figure out. Have fun!

Its Dark Souls + Anime Style + Vampires, I like all of these themes and expected highly of the game... so did most, unfortunately it does not live up to the expectations by any stretch, it has a mediocre story, voice acting is nice but the way it is portrayed along with the stiff and fake-looking 3D Anime graphics make it terrible at what it is trying to accomplish, it is hard to associate with the characters, to relate to them and to be engaged in the story, also it is lacking the keypoints by which players are able to immerse in the story in the sense that we do not really care about certain things we were supposed to care about, as a very generic example we do not feel like it was sad to lose someone if we only met them about 1 minute ago, likewise the story does not make the connections, it can make most people space out. The Game can be very easy but also very hard, mostly easy though due to the companion systems. This can be both a good and a bad thing depending on the player, meaning new players to the genre should pick it up to learn the basics in a smoother transition into the souls genre. Now that this is out of the way lets talk about the good stuff, the theme of the game is pretty good, music is good, sounds are good while in combat, the voice acting as said is superb although sometimes it can feel a bit on the low side but rarely, The areas in game can feel both very pretty and interesting but at the same time very linear despite being a souls type of game of course, basically meaning that the quality of the environmental art is fantastic while the map layouts are being uninteresting oftentimes. The Enemy placement though is very interesting, it genuinely feel like a dungeon in that sense because in the first play-through you wont know what to expect. The customization systems in regards to gameplay are very interesting, simple and effective, it can be deep enough but not too deep to the point of confusion especially for newer players to the genre. Abilities are Interesting, I think the ui for their resource could use some work since it is only a number hud roughly displayed in white. Character Creation is very well done especially for an anime-looking game although I always think they should add more hair variety and probably some accessory costs are a bit too high in relation to what we can do with them. Combat is as you would expect and probably slightly faster than a more conventional souls game which is something that I like considering my previously mostly liked games being faster-paced action games, the enemies are actually simple but when you get 2 or 3 of them the combat will indeed change into a survival mode scenario, moves are telegraphed but not in perfect timing when it comes to where the attack of the enemy will land, while the combat feels responsive enough to be a faster type of game it is still a bit non-responsive on rare occasions but to set your expectations right... yes, it is on the faster side and thats what you should expect. The game runs very smoothly without problems by the way on a modern computer setup, the optimization is there and is good enough for what you get, if you have performance issues check into your settings and try vsync-on or vsync-off, for it to work flawlessly you need to have a constant 60fps and for that to happen you need to match the in game settings to what your hardware is able to handle. Overall the game is worth the buy however I would wait for the game's price to fall further if I were to recommend it. I hope you have a wonderful playthrough and I recommend this game 100% for players who want to get into this type of genre by testing the waters since this game indeed feels easier to get into and by the time you are finished with it you will most likely be ready for the other souls-types of games. I would overall rate the game at 7.5 despite the rather limited scoreboard of metacritic. When the price is settled below 30 bucks then the score will be around 8 - 8.5.

This is a second review with the Expansions "Heavensward" and "Stormblood" taken into consideration, The game is overall "good enough", it definitely does not feel like a 100% premium product in most regards simply because the developer does not seem to take into consideration the western audience's wishes as much as one would have hoped, mainly the community is instead revolved around the appeal of the game, However I failed to see the appeal on the release content of stormblood while could see some appeal on heavensward release content and of course the patches, it felt like the budget fell drastically for some reason on stormblood quality-wise both in the narrative and the story itself, it felt like they could have done much more with it but didnt. I still believe one can enjoy the game, the maps though I find very uninteresting to be at, they are look-alike in many ways, I would even say they reused a lot of assets and it is very obvious, even the music pieces are essentially 1-3 per expansion excluding the boss fights of course and *some* dungeons. If someone is not into text-based story telling, simply do not play this game, the voiced narrative is very limited and seemingly random, this game relies heavily on its story and it is 96% text-based at the very least, I would not recommend therefore this game simply for the reason that globally 1 out of 10 people has trouble reading and basically they do cannot enjoy reading because of effects like the different types of dyslexia, the developer does not seem to contemplate the importance of this fact, the game is developed in Japan and then localized by another group of people in the company, the producer's native language however is mainly pictorial which makes it very easy to read once mastered to a degree, therefore the text-based story becomes a breeze to read however once localized, the western system of reading is much more difficult for the brain to decode and therefore the text-based story becomes unpleasant for most people and certainly unbearable for those 1/10 people world wide, which is still a huge number of people. Consider this before you invest into the game, if you can read fast and you like this type of narrative then you will be very satisfied, otherwise do not commit unless you want to train your reading skills, which is something I did, to put it into perspective the 90% of the game time you will spend on your first 1-2 months will be reading the story, it depends on your speed, it is advised to only skip anything that is not in a cut-scene to save some time if you so choose. The story and its quests are only unbearable for some due to the above, if you want to do a second playthrough you can simply skip through every narrative content by rapidly clicking on your screen, it can still be a bother of course, the game's store has ways for people to either skip or transfer, the game as of right now has limited cross-server capabilities and the server data-centers feel very fragmented, therefore it is very possible that if you do not communicate with your friends on which servers to settle in, you might not play together and for the most part the game is indeed single-player for the first 1-2 months, consider all the above before you commit. Best of Luck and have fun! As far as expansions go... Shadowbringers>Heavensward>Stormblood>A Realm Reborn

Final Fantasy XIV is in my opinion the best MMORPG there is out there, however best does not necessarily mean "Good", its just the best in comparison to other games in the genre which is inflated with copies of the same formula. I have to admit that the game is very well thought out and polished on the more practical aspects, I believe it can do way better and they certainly improve upon that as updates keep rolling out. With all that being said, let me write down my impressions about the game. As a beginner you will probably notice that the combat is way too slow, the graphics are a little washed out in the ARR (Vanilla) areas and the story is plain text for the most part, there are a few voice acted scenes but people with reading issues will not like the narrative of the game so keep that in mind, its not a big deal but for most it can be a deal breaker since the story itself is interesting. The story itself is long, very long. However you can have all classes in one character, you start with a main one and progress the other ones later on since the game has great catch up mechanics both in end game pve and leveling, you can power level your other classes through many means such as "palace of the dead" which is like a very classic tower-like dungeon with floors and items and feels like a prestige experience, which brings me to the next point, the game has so many extra activities to do such as mini games and casinos for gil (in game and non-premium currency), the game also offers events and goodies to get, cool mounts and cross-over events, rotating events and so on. Update cycles are frequent as one would expect and they are faster than its competition as of right now with main story quest line being expanded upon. As a new player however you will most likely not be able to get through the base game's story in a month simply because of the volume/size of the main story questline, the problem here is that the main story questline (MSQ) is the main source of unlocking anything major that you might need, basically in this game you unlock dungeons and extra items or features through their corresponding quests. A problem that I had encountered is long queue times, especially for DPS, so on your first class you should not go only DPS, a tank or healer is recommended however do pick whatever you like since the combat early game feels very slow but becomes faster and better later on (around level 35-40 it starts feeling normal and after a few levels its fast and non-spammy). In the end the combat comes together nicely and mechanics are great, the game also does not make you have a need for addons since everything that should be indicated is already indicated by the game in a clean fashion. The game's performance is great, it runs well and perfect compared to its competition. I give the game 7/10 because of how boring it can feel early on that it can make most players want to quit even after they have the trial completed (trial ends at level 35 which is where combat starts becoming more interesting). One big negative people might argue about is the subscription, the game is slow both in gameplay and in story, players will not be able to complete the first expansion within a month so the effective price of the game is way higher than the price tag of the game purchase therefore people will be incentivised to continue playing by paying monthly, this can be a turn off for most people and it gets amplified by the slow pace of the game early on, people usually quit because of all that and rightfully so, there are many players who are "returning" to the game to give it another shot, it is really a good game and the developers always try to bring innovation forward with many new crazy things to play around with, they bring many toys (like game modes and mini games) as well as new dungeons, raids and so on. Specifically the pve experience in the end game is excellent and probably beats its competition by a large margin, raids have wings meaning they are split into sections so you wont spend hours in front of a boss trying to figure out the plays, developers have thought out the raiding experience and it shows. With that being said, the pvp experience is lacking at best, the queues are next to impossible to wait around for (I have waited for even hours to try out the pvp) however I find their endeavors to make the pvp a good experience very impressive, they literally remade every class (job) to fit the pvp context, the main problem with the pvp experience is the slow pace of combat not allowing for a snappy pvp experience, they are trying to address that however the community as of right now prefers pve over pvp, they also prefer social activities and mini games. Lastly lets talk about the community that was formed in the game, it is one of the best online communities, very friendly, only on the rarest of occasions will you encounter any problems with your social interactions. Have Fun!

I love the historical aspect of the game especially due to the fact that it is taking place in modern-ancient Egypt (Alexandria), it is a cross-over of real history and fiction. The story is mediocre compared to other games, the same can be said for the combat however its an open world game where exploration is key and for that it does a pretty good job. The game's performance is terrible, it the best of today's home-hardware it will run at under 1080p/60fps which is unacceptable for a 2 year old game already. It is recommended to use a very fast storage device such as an NVME M.2 or at least an SSD otherwise there will be noticeable lag. Currently do not expect to play the game on a stable framerate at 1080p 60fps on above medium nor 1440p at high or above especially in bigger cities or denser areas in general (which is where you will see performance improvements by using an NVME drive). The game is clearly badly optimized. Generally the game is recommended if it werent for the bad performance so if you can tolerate that and you like this genre then definitely go for it.

The Game is Really Amazing, GamePlay is truly unique and superior from its predecessors along with great new additions that make the experience even more Awesome! The Graphics are outstanding, very impressive to say the least. Music is Awesome and somewhat Dynamic! Controls Feel Okay however for some things you might want to re-bind some buttons for higher level of play. Story was never the strongest point of Devil May Cry Games however this game's story is good enough, it has better flow than DMC4 for sure however do consider that this game is created mainly with action in mind, the narrative is also very good. With that being said it is designed around its combat and it is replayable, the total gametime is 8 hours give or take however the game can be further enjoyed on additional playthroughs. The combat in game feels dynamic and urges players to have that playful spirit when they first get into it, it is designed with diversity in mind and players will have fun experimenting with its gimmicks and fun combinations of combos, it is simple yet very fun and has depth. The game can be easily enjoyed by both hardcore and casual players. The game offers a variety of difficulties, players are also rewarded for mixing their moves in a variety instead of spamming, they are encouraged to do so by the Style System which in some cases has functions besides simply score which creates some dynamic. Considering that this game is a Love Letter for the Series' fans, it does justice on that regard. The Game's Negatives could be considered the repetitive nature of the maps and probably some parts of the Story, if the player is new the game does take care of showing what has happened in the story thus far however it is not ideal and it basically is simply moving text on the screen which can be hard to read for slow readers. Overall the game is Worth giving it a shot and is recommended for anyone to play!
