Season 1 is terrible. I don't like battle royale, or gauntlet, or strikepoint, the battle pass is bad and the challenges are bad, the skins are bad, the new map is poorly designed, they've ruined the game by taking out bot lobbies for exp, they don't let you reroll challenges enough, the lighting wasn't fixed. They hide conquest and breakthrough at the end of the menus when those are main Battlefield modes. This isn't the game I wanted

I love this game a lot and Eve is one of the hottest characters we have had for awhile, the gameplay is alright too. I got the platinum trophy for the game

A great soulslike experience and so far it's one of my favourite games of the year. The level design and characters are cool, I like the temples and scenery. The different weapons and build diversity is good and the outfits are particularly nice. I'm really enjoying using the axe and regenerating stamina, kinda OP. One nitpick is that I wish I could keep block up while dodging and not have to push the block button again. The bosses have put up enough of a challenge where some will take me 5-10 attempts to beat. The graphics are pretty decent and I'm playing on the base PS5, the music isn't blowing me away or anything but I enjoy it. Wuchang is hot and I'm happy that they included a transmogrification system for the armor so you can be fashionable. Button remapping is a nice bonus if you want to put dodge on another button. A nice touch is that the title menu reflects what armor you're wearing in the game. After the 1.5 update they have ruined the player movement and it doesn't feel as smooth anymore, it is janky and stutters. The changes have made it so the game and the story doesn't really make sense now. They said they were going to give us some headpieces as compensation but they never did. I would refund the game if I could.

Game of the year material, the kind of game we were all wishing and hoping for. I particularly really enjoy the soundtrack, some beautiful tracks on there

I tried to enjoy the game but I do not like it, I don't have friends to play with and I don't want to play with randoms. The game is too fast-paced for me and I don't have time to think and choose the right items from loot drops. Playing solo - by the time I feel like I've got my bearings, the storm starts moving and it just a stressful experience for me. I've not even been able to beat a Nightlord and I got the platinum trophy for the original Elden Ring so I'm not terrible at these games. I just can't keep up with Nightreign. The graphics are really nice and the gameplay is smooth, it has good music. The game has a nice blue and gold theme going on. I think the solo experience needs improving. You need to release a better map that feels more handcrafted. Add Rikimaru from Tenchu as a costume for a character. Maybe add some more game modes without the time and storm pushing you constantly. I respect them for trying something new though and I think they should continue to experiment with future releases. The update didn't make solo play better, if anything it is worse. This game is unbearable to play

Worst Doom game, feels like it's made for kids. The intro was bad, could barely read the intro text then the cinematic was just copying Marvel movies. The music didn't get me excited to be the Doomslayer can barely even hear the music. Then the gameplay is boring with tutorials on the screen every 5 minutes ruining my immersion, it doesn't feel like I'm playing a Doom game. This feels more like Quake or Serious Sam but I don't want to play those games I want to play DOOM! The mech and dragon sections are awful and seem like a mobile phone game. They could have come up with some better weapons and mechanics for a medieval styled Doom. Game still would have been better with glory kills and because I can't hear the music and it isn't interactive with the action, it feels rubbish to play. Mind numbingly bad. The levels don't have fast travel just to inflate your play time and make you replay an entire level if you miss something. Probably because the game is 15 hours long and costs £70

This has been the best game of the year so far, if they make a DLC I want to play as a beasty lady berserker. Also add a hammer weapon class and maybe chain whips or claws. This game has some things I wish other games had, for example when you're stuck on a boss you slowly earn experience so you still feel like you are making some progress. The anime art style works well with the blood effects. I think there is a lot of potential if they continue to build on this formula and don't try to change any thing that isn't broken. My only issue is that you have camera stuttering when you walk really slowly and turn your camera while walking or in dialogue with an NPC, maybe the game is just meant to be like that similar to the movement in DS2. It's a small thing and doesn't ruin the experience for me, but if you do make another game you should give the character more range/circle of motion. I don't know the technical term sorry. The last boss is ridiculously difficult and I can't beat him, I've given up trying so I'm lowering my score to 9 since I'm probably not going to bother finishing the game. The boss has actually ruined the game for me and made me dislike other parts of the game more and I definitely don't want to lower the difficulty and then have to play NG+

This is the worst Monster Hunter game I have ever played. There is no hunting in this game or searching for stuff. it's all streamlined for instant gratification, monster is always on the map and you auto there half asleep. I can't believe they took so many steps backwards for people that didn't even like the Monster Hunter series in the first place, I'm so disappointed. Here's what I don't like - No gathering hub, No house for endemic life, The maps are lifeless and empty, It isn't open-world and there is no real reason to explore the maps. There is no tracking and paintballs are pointless, The cats are barely in the game you don't send them on expeditions, No arena to test your skills, The NPCs are annoying, They don't really research monsters anymore and you can't see them when you capture them in the town, The towns and tents are bad, The Artian weapon system is horrible RNG nonsense, The food system is bad and I'm just using rations every time, The item management was better in previous games, also this game doesn't have an item box you have to go into the tent every time. The new decoration system is bad and restricts your builds, The mantles are worse than MH World with the annoying cool down. Some of the weapons are better but some are worse than previous games. I don't like the armor sets in this game. The best things about the game are the character creator, the NPC Gemma and how easy it is to 100% the game so I don't have to waste my time playing this game. Since they don't want you to play it and auto instead, I mean in general this games seems to be against hunting and wants us to feel guilty for doing it, why do I need authorisation to hunt? The fishing mini game is extremely bad and doesn't make sense, how does following the fish with the line reflect trying to tire it out? You've designed it backwards. The fish swim into obstacles and there is no way to stop it, the fishing line breaks like it was made out of cotton and not fishing wire.

This is more of a 9.5. The game is a near masterpiece! Gameplay is smooth and fun, the characters are cool and differ slightly which makes replaying with them all enjoyable (5 times so far, once online) Old sprites are unlockable and you can have the retro music instead, though the new music is good. Online issues are the only problem I've had, the game would freeze and we would have to restart the level. Can't handle the beat down! But then an hour later I tried with someone else and we went all 12 stages. Artstyle and level design is great imo, got some levels that are reminiscent of the classic stages. Love how the screen shakes and how punchy the moves sound. Blaze The game doesn't have drop-in drop-out Arcade which is a downside and needs to be added.

An improvement over the original in every sense, one of the best Koei Tecmo games I've played outside of Ninja Gaiden and (personal favourite) Kessen. I just wish this level of care was put into some of their other titles. Also I was a fan of William in the first game, but the character creator is a good addition which makes the game feel a bit more personal. Bosses were fun though some were a bit BS, what can you expect though aye. Builds and weapons continue to be fun to play around with, characters were decent.

It was decent if a little short, RE2 was better so it was a bit of a downgrade. Cut content from the OG. The characters were well performed and captured though, all of them. While I was playing it I struggled to put it down so was left craving a bit more, Resistance is alright but it is let down by laggy games almost everytime. The main game is lacking though, especially on costumes

*never played the original* the game was great the whole way through up until the last half of the final chapter. Then I was confused af. Though after playing through the entire game again on hard mode I began to appreciate the story more. The game is mostly carried by the combat and the great characters, story isn't bad but I don't think they did enough to explain some things to new players before the end. But! The final half of the last chapter still felt really epic and if that was what they were going for, then they nailed that. So despite me being confused it was fun and I was kinda blown away. My other complaint is that there is nothing to do now, I've got the plat and every item etc. An extra dungeon or an endless wave challenge might have kept me busy for awhile. If anything the game told me to play the OG and I'm definitely here for the next installment, once again the characters are soo good I love them. The boss fights were top notch, music is a 10/10.

Probably the last fighting game I'm buying, other than me being bad at them.. The game is really laggy, rpg mode although a good idea was super boring, the codes that come with the game are pretty useless. Making the game more beginner friendly just makes it easier for pros to destroy beginners with less effort and it doesn't feel as rewarding. The characters are cool though and the glossary is a nice addition.

Bigger and better than Rise, practically gave us everything people have been asking for minus the cargo shorts and duel pistols. Graphics on the XB1X are superb. Must have for true Tomb Raider fans.
