Beating this game was one of the biggest gaming slogs I've ever subjected myself to. I cannot fathom how somebody could like any part of the gameplay or story. The story is trash tier garbage exposition dumps with no substance. The combat is completely meaningless, there are so few mechanics that matter, no matter how you fight it is boring and enemies are sponges. The only upsides of this game are as always the art and music, but even then the setting is so bland and boring there's no room to show talent. Not only would I not recommend this game, I would actively discourage from wasting your time on it, please, play any other game in existence.

Horribly overloaded, over baked, underwhelming game. Tedious and boring, countries have barely any uniqueness, the systems that are in-depth, you wish weren't, and the war mechanics are just line vs line. Almost an insult to fun, worsened only by how much love and effort was put into this overall mismanaged game by the art team. Now wait for 10 dlc's to come out and I'm sure it'll be a little better... Oh, and you can't rename anything, what's the point of alternate history if you can't change anything?? Very little meaningful choice, and tons of restrictions.
