Without mods I would have game this review probably a 7. It was free since I owned the regular one on PC so I can't complain. The modding community has made this game a completely new game for me and i'm not talking about the Creation Club or in game mod tab. I don't think I have anything vanilla in my game that couldn't be changed already. But overall with or without mods it's still a great game to spend hours on
A huge improvement from Pirate Warriors 3 in my opinion. Gameplay is so much smoother and the change of scenery every other moment is great. I am also glad they didn't start from the way beginning again . My biggest complaint would have to be the camera angles though. I found myself constantly having to move around just to see what my character was doing.
All time favorite Final Fantasy game. The four disc copy that was released on PlayStation 1 gets ported to PS4. This version adds cheats for you but didn't find myself using any of them except for a boost in speed to get around places faster. Nothing really negative to say about this game in all honesty so a perfect 10 fits for this game.
Loved everything about Division 1 and tried the beta for 2. Wasn't fully impressed by it but still gave it a shot from playing 1. Mistake on my side. Found myself stuck in the loading screen constantly getting kicked out and during combat I would lag out. Game had great graphics but it just lacked in content and keeping a stable connection for me. Foolish enough to buy it and def. not worth the $60 I paid.
After watching gameplay on youtube I decided to give this game a shot and was glad I did. Game was mainly for stealth but I found myself just killing everyone regardless if they spotted me or not. Loved the power options and most of the challenges were pretty easy. Was more of a fan of Dishonored 1 vs Dishonored 2. Graphics aren't all that great compared to others but the gameplay made up for it fully. I highly recommend it.
Doubted this game at launch due to being a reboot from the original but I have to say I was highly impressed by it. Fairly short in my opinion but the music, gameplay and graphics made it worthwhile and the fact that a definitive edition came out later on sold it for me. Well worth a replay on the game and nothing like the original. Highly recommended.
Great storyline except for the plane missions in all honesty. Music and gameplay done right and its everything I wish GTA V had. Highly recommend picking it up if you havent played it yet. It's not a GTA game unless you spawn a tank out of no where and start blowing **** up.
Honestly I had no idea what was going on with the main storyline. Playing Just Cause 3 I had high hopes for this game and gave this one a shot and was highly disappointed. Game was extremely laggy and glitchy for me on the PS4. Was flying around more than blowing things up in this one and was constantly getting fired at in every direction. Not worth full the full price.
I found myself playing this game in one play-through at night and glad I decided to get it. Sci-fi type game and if I had to compare it to others it would probably be close to bioshock. Storyline was pretty easy to follow and was obvious to pinpoint what was going to happen next. Fairly short game but worth to pick it up on a sale. It's classified as a horror game for some reason but not really even though it had some moments where it made me jump a little and I usually don't play those type of games. I found the space missions boring though since it was so vast.
Compared to the previous 2K installments it was slightly better. Still glitchy and buggy in most ways and I couldn't get myself hooked to the main storyline since the voice acting was cringey to me. Also when it came to gameplay I found my character flying through the ring whenever he was grappled or thrown. Mainly bland overall though. Not worth a full price game and would only pick it up if it was on a huge sale. Hopefully the later years will be better
Picked it up for $5.99 on the playstation store when they had a sale and a few other LEGO games but this is the first one I decided to play and don't regret playing it or picking it up. Hilarious game and excellent gameplay. Controls were confusing at first especially when it came to activating things with triangle it would sometimes switch characters on me and other times one of my characters would get stuck and I would have to reload a save. Other than that though it was a great game to sink some time into. Never really got to the point in collecting all of the items in game but the story was well put regardless of all the bugs.
I was excited to know that this game got re-released onto the PS4. If you've played this game from first release I highly recommend picking it up again to play. The nostalgia and the fact that a remaster includes all of the characters/dlc its def. worth the $15 I spent. Excellent couch/co-op or solo play depending on your playstyle. Best side scrolling beat em game i've played in a while
Can't tell you how many times i've decided to pick this up and play over and over again and then get bored of it and start adding a ton of mods to the game. Not worth the market price of $60 being a fairly old game would suggest a sale to get your hands on it. You can easily lose track of what you are doing both in real life and in game with the amount of stuff you have to do and literally everyone has a quest for you to do something. Overall though if this was based on my first playthrough I would highly recommend it if itll be your first time jumping into this genre of gaming. Modding adds a whole new playstyle to the game though so just be warned about that really.
Out of all in the series, Bioshock 2 holds the trophy for being the best in it's series. All of them were excellent games and all had replay value but 2 just held it for me. Dark setting game with over the top gameplay and audio hooked me for hours wanting to do everything. Sad it was fairly short in my opinion but the alternate endings were worthwhile.
Excellent choice of characters and gameplay. Alot faster than its previous releases and a lot more content too. Matchmaking online is still a pain however but offline play lives up to the name. HIghly recommend
Would be a perfect 10 if it wasn't filled with hackers and modders in Torment X . Cant find the PS4 version but thats based off of that. Dark grind game that stayed true to its roots. Didn't do so well at launch being the Auction house was just a complete mess and required real currency to gain anything from it but years later after the necromancer release was perfect. Ability to do speed runs and help others is mainly what I play the game now for and the season events are def. a challenge to run through especially on hardcore. I do wish there were better rewards given at the end of a season but other than that def. worth a sinking some time into.
Comparing to Fallout 3, this game is decent for what it is. Felt like there wasnt really that much to do compared to 3 and I've sunk tons of hours in 3. Enjoyed the building but really without mods it was extremely difficult to build what you wanted to do. Plus being a trophy hunter with no mods was really hard to get into. Having to restart loads multiple times also from how glitchy the game was too really brought the score down for me and felt the customization lacked alot on what your skills could do and the karma that was gained from doing it. Worth a playthrough though if the game is on sale for half off or more though.
Picked it up on Playstation Now since its available to download but I am thoroughly enjoying the game. Haven't really sunk my time in the previous Saints Row but seeing videos of them this one is alot different from the others. That being said though I really like this game just cause its basically a free range game with powers. Some glitchy areas though and all the challenges are ridiculously easy to get gold on. No real point in using the cheat codes either unless you want a boost at the start but progressing through the storyline you can get unlimited sprint and all that. I dont really see a point in driving anywhere either since your sprint is alot faster and the recruitment doesnt seem to be necessary since i'm usually blasting everything in my way. But if you do have Playstation Now or its on sale for under $10 I'd pick it up if you're looking for an easy game to blow **** up .
Wasn't a big fan of X-2 but loved the remake of X coming to the PS4. Picked it up while it was on sale since i've replayed it multiple times on the PS3. From the battle schematics to the sphere grid everything was just perfect in a sense that you would gain from a Final Fantasy game. Not to mention being able to switch out characters whenever you wanted to and playing Blitz Ball. Nothing really negative to say about the game to be honest. Music and dialogue is perfect and trying to obtain all the ultima weapons/completing the sphere grid/max level you can easily sink all your time into this game. highly recommend
Sunk 200+ hours in this game and really enjoyed it. Loved the class switch at any time so you aren't fully stuck with one job throughout your whole playthrough. Graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is really enjoyable. One of my very few MMO's I don't mind jumping back into. Biggest downside would be the main storyline eating so much time. Mind you though that it is a Final Fantasy game so it will be story based for the first half. Another thing I wasn't really a fan of was the queue times if you are running a DPS character since it seems everyone else is playing it(Tank main) . Also enjoyed how you could play with other users when your run a dungeon no matter what platform you are. Highly recommend it though if you want to jump into an MMO. Does have a monthly subscription after a certain level but well worth it.
Kingdom Hearts II FM was by far the best of its series. From all the challenges to the Data fights they did everything right. Being disappointed by 3 I decided to replay 2 and was still highly impressed with everything this game had that 3 didn't Also the replay value for both 1 and 2 never get old. Highly recommended and my all time favorite game.
Had a rough start from the first release. Confusing builds and controls that weren't really explained well so I took a long break from this game. Decided to pick it back up a few years later and was blown away how much has changed. With all the new additions to the game its hard to judge the game on what it was vs now. Highly recommend this game if you love the grind ****. Co-Op play is recommended but I find myself playing solo in higher level missions(plus you can always decide for yourself to leave at 5,10,15,etc rounds). Devs are constantly making the game better too. Also to note that the microtransactions are NOT needed. You can obtain everything if you grind for it. Farm and sell your gear for plat. I have bought plat. for though since I was eager to get a head start but looking back at it I would totally grind for it.
(This review is based on the first raid) .Great game overall. Really enjoyable if you're playing with friends but not so much solo. Honestly would have been higher but the fact that everyone was running the same weapon in crucible killed it for me. Raid also was extremely ridiculous to complete even using the current meta at the time. On a more positive note though the game had amazing graphics and audio. Mechanics could have been a little better and possibly more to add to the map and this game would have had a higher review. Still recommend it though and I believe the DLCs have made it better
At first the game was great. Story was hilarious and everything else you would expect from a Borderlands game. Was able to finish all the chapters with FL4K. Disappointed after all the nerfs and patches involving an offline game though. Matchmaking also was fairly buggy for me and when I would find a pairing it would normally be with someone who completed that chapter or far back from the story. Also the wipe from the loot bank was really disappointing after all the hours grinding. I really wanted to love this game but after all the patches it just made things a little bit worse. Def. pick up the game if you're a die hard fan but I don't recommend buying it at full price.
One of the many few games that I decided to complete everything in it. Trophies were surprising easy but still kept me hooked for hours. The DLC also really brought more fun to the game too. Enjoyed being able to swing around everywhere and all the alternate costumes really caught my eye. Only down side I would have was the unskippable stealth missions with MJ. Other than that though a really beautiful game for any Spider-Man fan
Despite reading all the negative reviews I still decided to give this game a shot and to be honest... I'm enjoying it. Gameplay is pretty fun but I will say the flying mechanics is still pretty buggy for me. Just the camera angles sometimes go out of wack when you go into fly mode continuously. My other big complaint would be the loading times but I'm sure they'll patch that later on or hopefully they will. Game def. doesn't feel complete but the same could be said with early Destiny 2. Later on it did get a little better. Other than that though the game is really fun to play with randoms or with friends. Can't wait to see the progression of the game though.
