This is a good game, the core idea that a fungal virus taken us to near extinction is cool. And scientifically the most possible. The story is really good Joel had one of the best developments in the time this game released. Ellie is a companion not a burden, but i feel her AI isnt as polished as others were that time. The gameplay loop is quite addictive and the enemies are really competent for their time.

Its a bad remake, the modern graphics, the dualsense. But theres no real improvement, a remakes core idea is to show how the developer would have done it back then.

The Last of Us Part II wasnt asked for but its good we have it. I think the story is weaker compared to Part I. Ellie and Abby's journey are both really exciting but i found myself enjoying Abby's gameplay more since its more of a classic Last Of Us experience. The Remaster is something that wasnt needed, but we can say the DualSense capabilities are used nicely the way everything works out.

RE4R is the textbook example of remaking a game from scratch. It perfectly modernizes the game without becoming something it isnt. The story got patched up, but its for the games sake. The parry mechanism is one of my favourite things to do in game that satisfying "clang". Ashley became a much more relatable character. And the expanded world is breathtaking.

This is the defenition of storytelling. The way the game portrays James guilt and his denial of his sin is amazing. The acting is outdated but the voice of James is perfect even if its crappy, it captures James's cold almost mechanical like persona. The multiple endings all work. The gameplay can be challenging sometimes but the game is mostly for the story.
