A solid entry, though not quite as streamlined as Doom Eternal. Combat can be rather messy with too many non-linear levels and environments, with many enemies surrounding you and their presence not being known until they cheaply attack you from behind. But it's still a blast with decent weapon and enemy variety, and a nicely-paced campaign. Action is as explosive and impactful as ever, with plenty of bloody mayhem you've come to expect. Definitely recommend it for all Doom fans, just don't expect it to live up to Eternal.

Simply delightful. A bright, colorful, gorgeous game that's another entry in a long list of Playstation masterpieces. Anyone who loves platformers will adore this game. A love letter to longtime Playstation fans, while also drawing inspiration from Super Mario Odyssey and Galaxy. Can't wait to see what's next from Team Asobi with Astro Bot.

This game is a masterpiece. I'm absolutely in love with it just as I was with the first game on PS4. The game is absolutely gorgeous and the combat is so sick. And don't get me started on the boss fights. They're epic and sometimes genuinely frightening. The story and character development are also an improvement over the precedecessor. Nothing beats playing as Miles and Peters as much as you do in this game (though I do wish they teamed up a bit more in it). This game totally continues the high standards set by previous PS5 exclusives before it like God of War Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West. Can't wait for Insomniac's take on Wolverine (and hopefully a Spider-Man 3)!!

Made an account for the first time just to rate this game. Is it an ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE! I cannot heap enough praise on it. Gorgeous visuals, sharp combat & controls and such a wonderful story. More than lives up to the first one which in itself is a masterpiece. They really went above and beyond with this one. Hoping and praying for a third game!!
