Disrespectful deconstruction of Homer's The Odyssey. Pretentious while treating the viewer as an idiot that can't understand a Greek epic. Nolan truly contradicted himself so many times in the making of this movie. It makes me wonder if he thought. I Christopher Nolan have so much pull in the theater im going to purposely slap together a trash movie and watch as the plebs eat it up as i win an award for this slop.

Great movie. Id say it would be a promising start if there were to be a sequel. I do have some problems with the warrior princess. She was overbearing at times that was unnecessary and disrespectful to her own father. As if a father would just take that from his daughter. Then there is this millennial awkward wimpy comedy. It's off putting like other things in this movie, but doesn't take away from it. Then we come to the childish naive narrative, of lets talk things out instead of fighting. It's like there was a feminist that was consulting with the studio. News flash the idea that everyone has a sad good reason for why they're bad is childish to think. Some people, and characters are bad because they like power over everything else. This trying to appeal to their good side makes your character look naive and stupid. Especially after doing what he did to your home, family, and people. So maybe if you do a sequel. Leave this bad narrative writing out. Maybe vet your consult. And stop undermining your main character.
