Lol. I came here to report mod abuse & banning and the latest 2 posts already covered it. Only thing I asked was for them to stop deleting posts expressing concerns on game features and they PERM banned me for it. And the reason was blank in the notification. Valve needs to wake up and ban THESE devs instead. NEVER buy anything from these people again. EVER

The worst game Ive played in a decade. The claims this developer bought a click farm and paid for awards seems warranted. Even with 50 mods this game is just trash. ~ Graphics are disgusting, ps3 level ~ HDR never functioned right and RTX does nothing in this game ~ you cant even wide screen res without bars ~ navigation is guesswork because of lazy dev design, NOT in order to make exploration fun. This bleeds truth after just an hour of playing. ~ without parries and iframes this game is a shallow shell. Its made for jocks too dumb for a real rpg and are on a break from madden. ~ the music is omg the music. Did they even try? SunoAI can make better in 5 minutes. Legit murder on the ears. ~ the mod community cant even package the folders the way theyre supposed to be packed ~ insanely boring grinding in the game and there is a lot of it. I can love me some grindy games but this ? Its dumb as hell. You literally just die and respawn on purpose just to grind the same fort over n over the first 2 minutes into the game. For hours ~ loot is pointless even with goblin map. Junk loot is still junk ~ punishing weight system for gear giving the game artificial difficulty instead of the real deal ~ every single piece of armor is horribly designed, not even modders have made any that are appealing ~ enemy AI has auto aim on MELEE attacks. Meaning there is zero reason to do anything but parry or iframe out. Aka jock strap gameplay Dont buy this trash. Its not even worthy of being up on cs rin.

I thought the demo was trash. I HATED the game. For some, bad logical decision I got the full game. Turns out the full game is really nothing like the demo. Its really fun actually. Like, a LOT. The battles are not anywhere close to button mashing that the demo led on to be nor braindead battles. The boss fights in the demo were crap. In full release they have ff14 extreme mode mechanics. Very fun. Lots of “build” options also. Very much to like about GBR. Keep an open mind. The game surprises you in very fun ways. Even for us old timer OG gamers.

Its hilarious that the beta was 60% of the game. The content offered isnt even worthy of being 9$ You can literally finish everything critical in 2 days.

When presented a choice, the devs were offered to copy FFT, or copy mario rabbids. These MFers opted for mario. WOW how the mighty have fallen. This game is a disgrace……To tactics games, and to Persona 5. Capitalism ruins games kids, stop forgetting that.

Just another fine example of asian devs trying to control players. NO. di Is locked til ch5….disabled in new stories, and item world, and HEALING DI is broken. The only thing this game did was make me wanna replay the last game instead…..disgusting

Previously to me the game was a 2/10 because on ps5 it was unplayable on the 1.0 to 1.3 releases. Now? On 1.05 DOF can be disabled, (this was the BIG one, it was causing headaches within 2 minutes) HDR is not a joke anymore, its not perfect but its very very decent finally Performance. Feels like a stable 60 without stuttering on ps5 now. It feels awesome. Before it felt like 20 FPS and there were weird frame skip like effects all over the place. Those are ALL gone. Text size, only small increase, however the background behind it now has better coloring and less transparency, so you can definitely read it now, unless your tv is maybe too small. On 65’ its perfect. Normally I would give this game an 8, with the above fixes. Im giving it a 10 now because GUST and KT actually listened to its players. Which is just unheard of in 2023. That is absolutely worthy of 2 extra points. KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK. (And maybe next time dont release too early lol)

I started out thinking the game was a 10/10. Very strong start. After Cid exits everything goes downhill fast. And they draw inspiration from GOT but too pansy to actually show nudity in the sex scenes ? Witcher did it tons. I dont really care either way. What bugs me is this is just more typical SE acting like children again. If you’re going to take inspiration from something, then TAKE it. Too scared to use the C word apparently too. The lack of depth in customizing your characters performance really starts to show itself. It is VERY similar to what they did over the years in ff14 by dumbing things down far too much and instead of stopping, they just dumb it down more. A lot of people praise Yoshi like a cult leader but Ive seen this coming from him for awhile. The guy does not know how to give depth to the games player base and that bs continued in 16. The other problem is the dungeons. The pattern is literally a copy paste of FF14 dungeons….. Trash mob > mini boss. > trash > mini > boss I did not buy a single player expansion for 14. I bought ff16. Honestly think after 24 years of FF games this is the last one im getting. I play this and I cant just pretend I dont need a lot of depth in my character gear weapons and even level up abilities. If you quit finally ff14 and dont plan to go back, chances are youre not going to like 16 at all.

Um no More bugs then any game since 2019 Least fun game Ive played in 10 years even if you ignore the bugs. Game isnt even worth 5$. Do not buy. EVER Rather play overcooked or sims. This wanna be hybrid of the 2 hits NO marks, at all. Id go as gar to call this game a complete scam honestly

Game is absolute trash. Riddled with more bugs then any other game in 3 years, and the cooking is not even close to being fun. Even if this game was 9.99 it would deserve a zero. Also, blacklist fingergun critics. Theyre clearly being paid heavily to give something this horrible a freaking 80?!?!?! Perma block gamespace and the other 80 while you’re at it. Absolute garbage critics. No one in in their right mind without corruption on some level is going to review this for over a 40. And thats being generous, and, assuming the game was 10$ tops. Guess what. Its not

No chance. Not even ER or Seki gamers like it. Locking everything behind the first boss who less then 30% of the players can beat is also horrid. You buy for coop snd never even get to unlock it if you cant beat zhang. Talk about poor design

Sure if youre dumb enough to spend 2023 cash on a 1990 style game go for it “IF” the game didnt put you to sleep immediately it MIGHT have been worth 19$ It doesnt even do that. This price and release from se is honestly pathetic. Id rather try Forspoken again then acknowledge this game exists

Zzzzzzz This will be you trying to play this game. And I play freaking Chess, the slowest and most uninteresting game to be watched playing in the world. Also there is far too much dialogue. 90% of me getting drowsy playing this was because of all the ridiculous chatter. This isnt supposed to be a stupid VN. And if this is the “art direction” they are going to go for, stop trying to get full AAA 2023 pricing for it. Game is barely worthy of even being 19$

Boring honestly I love TB genre games but they are definitely slow. P5 is amazing. Engage was fast paced with getting u to battles enough to not be boring either. So…. there is far too much talking going on in this game. Its a TB game made for annoying extroverts. Your gameplay is constantly interrupted for chatty kathy time. It comes off as overly “listen to me” needy. Shoot me. For the price, they could bring graphic fidelity up a lot too, instead of trying to say its just the art style. Ya, just like when apple stopped including charges with new phones because they are going more green. (Im an ex apple corp employee and never will go back to those tyrants). So gullible. Better as a 29$ game or even 19$.

With performance and HDR now fixed on ps5 the game is freaking wicked fun. Content is seriously lacking however and youll get about 50-60 hours out of this game. More if you chase un-needed things like accessories and cosmetics. As for main OP weapons and gear and story though, 50/60 hours. There is NO legit endgame currently either. So for now an 8 rating is justified. Wont be a 10 until it gets an endgame and expansion. Game is really short compared to others in the game genre

This is for feb 2023 gt7. NOT release date gt7. I passed on the game for forever until now on a 39$ sale, and what I think “now” its an awesome game! - We now have BOTS (lookup clubmanSharp) we can use over remote play from a pc easily if credits are a concern. 10million in one night of sleep. Fine for me, should be fine with collectors as well now. Thats a TON of game money. - the story lets you use almost, any car you like mostly and you get a ridiculous # of free cars during. This is UNLIKE gt sport where you had stupidly harsh restrictions on ever using your favorite cars unless it was free play…. BIG improvement. Not like GT sport, AT ALL. So not sure what the remedial post just recently is babbling. - Fidelity is AAA. No slow downs and not blocky textures. Super clean game - free psvr 2 update - basically every reason why I passed on buying this before, is now all gone. NOW its time to race

Over hyped by fans by a large margin. Its a standard rpg with nothing really special once you tear away the harry potter curtain. And if thats not even special to you then theres nothing in this game that you probably haven't already seen to “death” gameplay wise. Anyone thats been a gamer for over 5 years will find everything here dated and tiring. Graphics arent even up to ps5 standards. Especially not at 80$. Lets not even mention that your main character feels looks and acts like a gigantic wuss waiting for balls to still drop, no matter what cosmetic you buy. Get during a sale, and even then only if youre not super RPG familiar. Apparently theres some dumb drama revolving around the game and author. I couldnt care less about that woke garbage dispute. All I care is if the game is fun or not and it just, is not. Zzzz

Dont even buy it on a 90% off sale. They should be paying you to play this crap. Not much hope from SE for FFXVI after seeing what came out of project A.

My god even by 90s standards this game wouldve been trash. Constant stuttering and boring combat. The code for this game in Unity is utter spaghetti. And the devs not knowing unity at all is clearly showing. As for the ONE 10 rating, look at the username. Clearly a paid / fake review made specifically just to have a green vote. Forget textures that look 30 years old Forget the horrid combat that even the first ever neptunia did better in. The game isn't even playable, all because these clown devs don’t understand unity This game should’ve been 120 fps-240 on PS5, its demand is so pathetically low. Instead its barely 30 and stutters and freezes every time something dies. Do not enable this company for a single cent. Absolutely shameful release on something that could’ve been good. Devs need to at LEAST hold the game up to atellier ryza 2 standards, at minimum, when it comes to making old textures look good AND run good. If this came out in the 90s i would STILL give it a 0. Its horrible

Lol @ all these visual novel chasers & content creator nuts. Oh no! I cant read the story to all my pathetic simps because its bad, what should I do now Heres a thought, shut up and PLAY THE GAME. Its got excellent gameplay, and thats what games should be focused on. If you want to read something to your dumb simps, goto the library and buy a freaking book. Dont dump on FE Engage which is a good game just because you're a whiny visual novel addict.

Great game again, however! I have to agree with the other somewhat neutral review. 1 is incredibly more challenging, but also fulfilling to play. 2 is clearly aimed at being far more for casuals who still want to earn 3*, which I guess is fine since casuals are the majority. I also have to point out that the “worlds” in OC1 all kept changing, somewhat like old school mario games did theme wise. However a large majority of the worlds in oc2 do not change so much, from the first til the very last. You may play world 1-4 and experience a similar theme, and even mechanic all the way in world 6. MANY of these maps rely on simple plate cleaning management to win and not much else, leaving you only 2 plates for example. This is a welcome addition from 2 however it is the SOLE mechanic for determining a 3* win on far too many worlds, not just stages but worlds. One world, but with many stages using this wouldve been ok, this just felt messy. Also, as many have said getting 3* in this game is laughable. Me and my wife screwed up so many levels so many times but when we got our score, it would end up at 3* SO many times. We were pretty much kinda like oh um really? I “guesssss” well do the next one, since theres no point in redoing the last one even though we couldve done way better...... ^That happened a LOT. I cant think of a level we actually failed to 3* honestly the first try except a few dog ones. Online MP and throwing are very welcome add ins too! However I worry they maybe focused on getting these added into the game at the cost of a little more balancing. They need to go back to the roots making OC3 way harder, with each world having no similarity to the last world. We all continue to play OC1 again and again although, everytime we bring up oc2 all of our faces just kinda go naaa, we beat it once thats enough. I can see this being deleted for hdd space now while oc1 will stay with us til ps5 for sure. I do hope the studio continues to make overcooked games but out of 1 and 2, 1 blows the sequel away no contest. That said, I still think this game is a must buy for the genre, just dont expect what the first one gave you.
