For a film that was released in 1993, the CGI still holds up after 20+ years. The film is still enjoyable, though it does have noticeable flaws and isn't scientifically accurate. It is an absolute blast to watch, even though I've seen the movie so many times. T-Rex was terrifying, the sauropods were breathtaking, Nedry and Malcolm are still funny and the movie is still just breathtaking.

A visually stunning movie with brilliant performances from Hemsworth and Brühl, and very action-packed racing sequences combined with great writing and directing makes perhaps the best racing film ever made. Daniel Brühl, in my opinion, stole the show completely, and was very believable as the Austrian Niki Lauda. Australian Hemsworth as the British James Hunt may seem confusing, but Hemsworth was believable, though somewhat unlikable as the handsome ladies' man. The CGI during Lauda's fiery crash wasn't well-done, but the rain soaking the track and sliding off the sleek and well-made 1970s F1 cars was very impressive. Both actors are very believable as their characters, the writing is phenomenal, the CGI is decent, the direction is well-done, and the overall look of the film is just beautiful, and makes for a very recommendable film even for those that don't follow Formula 1 that much.

Absolutely phenomenal movie and instantly one of my all-time favorites. A movie about a tragic and deadly illness that every family deals with at least once that manages to throw some comic relief (mostly by Seth Rogen's character), but can also pull on the heart strings. Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt should've gotten more attention, in my honest opinion. At least an Oscar nod for one of them, or even maybe a win, possibly? Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a unique actor who only gets roles in movies in which he is going to exceed in. Just look at his filmography: Looper, Inception, the Nolan Batman movies, Don Jon, 50/50, 500 Days of Summer, and, coming this fall, The Walk. All positively-received films that won many awards and got numerous nominations. Now, Seth Rogen is one of the greatest comedic actors out there currently. Here's some of his filmography: The Interview, 50/50, Superbad, This is the End, Pineapple Express, and Neighbors. All well-received films that have built Rogen a reputation that I don't think even he can ruin. Bryce Dallas Howard and Anna Kendrick may not have as many well-known and well-received films on their resume, but both were superb in this movie, even though Anna Kendrick's character can get a little awkward at times. My only gripe with this movie is that Levitt's and Kendrick's characters' relationship was kinda predictable from early on. Other than that, this film is absolutely phenomenal.

This movie is by no means better than the original, but it can settle for second best. The CGI was actually pretty good, the actors did a good job for what they had, and the overall look of the movie is enough to make even the harshest movie critics leave at least some positive notes. Now, some elements were bad, like some cheesy humor, but, if you are a fan of Jurassic Park, you will most likely have learned to ignore all the negatives. The movie is most certainly not for people looking for a possible Best Picture contender, but is an enjoyable and fun movie. Parental Guidance is required if any young ones are looking to see their favorite dinos chase people around the mountains of Isla Nublar, but they shouldn't be having nightmares when they go to sleep (unless of course they are bothered watching humans become dino food. I mean, what kind of dinosaur movie has humans and dinosaurs on the same island and no one dies? Trust me, no one would watch that movie). So, this movie is not disappointing, unless of course you dislike Jurassic Park, or dinosaurs for some reason, but, if you did, then why the heck are you watching it?
