Serves you right, Disney. Like Star Wars, you thought it would be an automatic success, just by the name on it. And like Star Wars, your movie is trash. It will join the graveyard of stillborn franchises, like Narnia, Percy Jackson, Eragon and ATLA...

Oh, not again, d**n it, not again ! I swear it happened 20+ times with those Netflix movies, having a simple plot but NO ending. I hate those movies ! The point ? Society = bad. Ending ? Non-existent. There, i saved you 1h30.

Awful movie. Deeply boring. No story, no character development, no action, no tension, no sci-fi. Just watch any film about the Resistance in WW2. It will be much much better. Don't waste your time on this empty, pointless movie. ZERO entertainement

When Hollywood is being ruled by marketing managers rather than artists, it shows. What an awful movie, pandering to teenagers, full of product placement. Don't waste your time. It's not funny nor entertaining. Just painful to watch.

The first hour was really good, much better than expected, despite some dumb character decisions. Then the third act came in, and the movie went completely ****. The ending is a mess and ruins the whole thing. This is the kind of movie where writers had a nice pitch, but didn't know how to end it.

Stupid movie based on a stupid book. Please stop overrating Stephen King. This guy is a good writer for synopsis. He finds tremendously awesome pitches, but can't hold a story to the end.

I thought The Predator was the worst movie of 2018. Well, it still is. But Mortal Engines is really really close. What a TERRIBLE movie. Everything is awful in it. Horrible overuse of green screen and bad CGI Atrocious acting Cringely forced romance. I thought Hollywood stopped this kind of BS. Characters who share ZERO alchemy, fall in love within hours. Yeah, sure... Bad dialogue Boring plot. It's just an excuse to do steampunk. Full of useless name dropping Wokeness (yeah, we get it. White colonialists BAD. Minorities GOOD) I can't believe how high the ratings are. It took me 4 tries to finish this movie. I fell asleep 3 times before. This movie is like a Syfy B-movie, but with a 100 M$ budget

The movie desperately wants us to believe that the kidnapper took months to prepare his rapture. Yet, he comes up with a plan that makes ZERO sense. Why the hell would he try to kidnap her in broad daylight in the middle of a public place?? Why not at night, when she closes her flower shop?? This idiot almost got caught, by the way. This... brillant mastermind plan could have been trashed within seconds. Then, the girl takes over stupidity. On one occasion, she knocks out the guy. She could easily have locked him inside the room, but doesn't. She knocks him a second time (God, who is she? Captain America?), then she DOESN'T take the gun that lies near the unconscious kidnapper. What the hell, girl??? The "secret" between them is not interesting at all. The movie makes us root for the girl, then the guy, then the girl again, then the guy again... It's fine, but the plot is so stupid and boring that I just couldn't care. This movie looks like a cinema semester final project, filmed by amateur students with no budget. How the hell did Luke Evans get here?

I didn't like the first movie (I fell asleep in the theater and had to watch it again on TV). But I wanted to like this one, I really wanted. What a letdown! What I hated about this movie: - The pace: soooooo boring. Damn, I almost fell asleep again. Twice! - The plot: One major flaw of the first movie was the characters. People generally liked Newt and Tina, but hated Queenie, Jacob and Creedance. In this movie, here we go again. 3/4 of the movie is dedicated to Creedance backstory and Jacob/Queenie "complicated" relationship. - So many useless subplots: soooo many backstories, sooooo many red herrings. - The acting: I didn't see Grindelwald. I saw Johnny Depp with a ton of makeup. - Fanservice: Oh, god, the fanservice is so heavy in this one. The plot is so unnecessary convoluted, stretched and boring, they had to put a million references to the HP universe, so that people can be excited. "Look! It's the guy from HP" / "Look! It's that stuff from HP"... In conclusion, the fantastic beasts saga is The Hobbit of Harry Potter. Boring prequels filled with streched boring plot and a ton of fanservice.

Dear god, was this movie awful!! I don't even know where to begin. Pretentious, artsy scenery. Full Margot Robbie worshipping. Stupid plot and plot twists we see coming a mile away. The messy timeline and narration tries to make the movie more complicated than it actually is. What a boring, messy, useless movie. I don't understand what went through the director's mind. I think he wanted something edgy, with its own tone and identity, but the boring plot makes it fail miserably.

I have mixed feelings about this one. The movie is way too inconsistent with its tone and humour. Half of the jokes are really witty and funny. The other half is just silly goofiness we see coming a mile away. It felt a little bit long at the end. But overall, it was too predictable and inconsistent. A lot of missed opportunities.

Dear god, this movie was SO boring, I couldn't even finish it. I can't believe a studio would produce something so bland and predictable in 2018. Well, from Sony, I wouldn't have expected better, actually. The plot is dull, the acting is terrible, the action and CGI are bad. Nothing, really nothing stands out in this movie. It was just boring and useless. I expected something a little edgy like Deadpool. But this Venom looks more like a Transformers movie. Long, boring and unfunny.

I hate this kind of movie. Everything is so artsy and pretentious. The plot is pushed back, far behind ultra-feminism, SJW agenda, and gibberish philosophy. It's the kind of movie people don't admit they don't like, because otherwise they will be judged for not understanding EVERY metaphore in it. First, a movie should tell a story. Then, only then you can infuse discrete political or philosophical messages. Not the opposite, it only makes a boring, pretentious film

This is another exemple of movie with good premises, but the writers had absolutely no idea how it should end. The two-thirds of the movie are great. To be honest, I didn't expect to be so invested in the story. But as the movie progresses, the plot becomes less ans less clear. The writers didn't seem to know if it shoud take a serious or supernatural turn. In the end, no one really knows. And the last 15mn are a big mess of disappointment. In conclusion, it's kind of a netflix-standard movie. Very intruiguing synopsis, leading nowhere. WHAT A LETDOWN

At least, we wanted a sequel to the Fincher's first film. I don't think this Jason Bourne clone will satisfy any fan of the books.

Dear Hollywood: litterally NO ONE asked for another reboot of this well-known story. Haven't you learned any lesson from king Arthur box office bomb? People want something new, original! At least, if you're disgusing a historical movie into a modernized antifa propaganda, with modernized outfits, make it happen in modern days.

Another earth invasion movie where the invaders wouldn't win in real life. There is no way those creatures would take over the planet, unless this one is filled with people as dumb as our protagonists. Who, WHO THE HELL gets pregnant in this environnement?? Not only this, but the family keep making horribly stupid decisions throughout the movie. I hate those kind of flicks where stuff happens only because the stupid characters allowed it to happen. A hugely overrated movie. Don't bother to watch it, unless you (really) don't care about plot holes.

Obnoxious movie, filled with atrocious attempt on humor. The dialogues are horrendous. CGI are ugly. There is litterally NOTHING good about this movie. What a spit on the face of this beloved franchise. It looks like Hollywood strives to destroy everything we loved back in the 80's
