The gameplay is awsome but story and characterwise the game lacks a lot of personality. Every Npc sounds the same and the story is very forgetable. Still, the combat is super cool.

I really enjoyed the game. They changed completely to a new direction but I thing they did it in a really great way.

It's a fun game but lacks a bit of soul. Seems a bit repetitive eventhought the scenarios change

I would say this is the game with the most love and attention given by the developers. Never played a turn based before and decided to give a chance to BG3 and what a great decision It was. For me the only problem you might have is that the game has so many things going on that sometimes you might feel a bit overwhelmed. But overall it's a 10/10 imo.
