The fact that this game is cross plattform is the only reason i like it. If you like cars its mediocre, if you like soccer its a disaster. But if you like fast paced games where you can fool around with your friends its a blast.

I decided a time ago that i would stop playing digital RPG:s since i dont find them intriguing any more. I lose interest for the main quests and i find the lack of interesting characters extremely disturbing. Yet The Wither proves me wrong, here you have both an graphical and technical wonder but also an intriguing story that makes you want to look forward behind that next corner. This, even though the setting is pretty corny.

I have heard so much of this game so when i started to play i was automatically disappointed. Running around grabbing resources for a couple of clowns without any real reason isnt my bag of skates.

If you like the side scrolling lode runner stylish game in a well told historical context this is the game for you. If you dont like games with that exact combination. Its pretty boring.

Cities: Skylines10
Dec 27, 2015
Waiting more then 10 years for a functionally moddable citybuilder makes you kinda think its impossible and give up. But then comes the day when you think youre about to fall of you chair, and then realize you never need to leave it again. Because Skylines has it all. Sure, it has a few setbacks like the railways and the messy roundabouts etc. but nothing that in a long shot makes the game go bad. Hello citybuilder, welcome back, you have been away for so long!

This is probably 2014 cutest story about an important issue. The fact that they have involved informational elements is a good thought, but as a game its devastating. I would easily had classed this game as a top-game if this was better performed. Now its just a game i think would be obligatory to play in North American schools.

I have played most of the Tropicos that has been released on PC, but this was the first on console. I was impressed how easy it was to control and pick details. As of how the game kept me intrigued for a pretty long time, which some of its successors have not been able too. Im probably going to pick this game up again now and then.

This is probably the hardest dungeonbasher i have ever played. Its full of humor for adults wich probably is very entertaining if you dont have any grip of reality. If you like spellcasting so much you can live with this it might be bearable, but for me the difficulty together with the "he he" makes me want to throw the game through the window.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons9

Even though im not a fan of puzzle-quests i found this story pretty intriguing. Much because of the lovingly told story which reminded me of the feeling you got as a child when absorbed by a good story. If this team made a sequel i would totally buy it in an hunt of getting that nice fuzzy feeling again.

For someone that has not seen the latest movie the introduction felt a bit unexplainable and unconvincing, but the setup and the massive world makes up for pretty much of that. I like that you have to earn yourself favors to get different fractions to trust you, but still the missions get repetitive pretty fast. And you tend to loose interest.

The controllers of the game is still totally incompatible with my FIFA-brain. The fast paced graphics is to fast for the PS4 and too much focus is around these incredible boring fistfights.

FIFA 167

I have played the series casual maybe 100 hours a year since FIFA10 and this is pretty much what you can expect. Its noticable that the new generation of consoles are out because the details of the graphics is remarkable. To bad that the commentators are **** and that when the very expected ladies teams the sound seems to come from a local red-neck arena.

It doesnt matter how much i try, but there is something about Frictional Games that doesnt hit my nerve. The beginning of this game was a nightmare, had to spend an hour just to find my medicines and its a wonder i continued play at all after that. Its pretty relieving though, that you dont have to fight your way forward, but again, there is plenty of darlings these guys need to learn to kill in favor for the story, which in my opinion is too good for the technical implementation.

I have spent more time then most on the Battlefield-series and less time then most with the movies since i find the saga pretty unimaginable in comparison with other worlds. I like the well built and balanced gameplay that is a signum for DICE but i question the arcade feeling it has taken. The maps and characters feels very convincing though, and i almost starts to like the universe and the gimmics they have implemented from the movies. But still, there is not much cooperation which is what makes me happy. Its an over-all great game, but you can feel how they have forced themselves to scale away a bunch of details just to please the franchise and the targeted audience.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III5
Dec 27, 2015
I have not played this game very long, for a good reason. It was so totally uninviting and uninteresting. Felt like the same game as COD:BO2 with better graphic, but in a waaay worse packaging. The loading-times when starting the zombie-mode is annoying since you have to watch a long movie and so on. I couldnt handle to spend more time when im used to a pretty slim and working franchise. So disappointed!

Wasteland 2: Director's Cut9
Dec 27, 2015
I have only played the first large chapter but has been totally absorbed by the feeling of this game, that takes me back to the original fallout games. The missions feel relevant and even though you have to run an incredible long way for small accomplishments sometimes, it is forgiven. What is not forgiven though, is the crappy voice-producer. Even though they have brought in really good voice-actors there is lots of missing lines and sometimes sidekicks gets better representation then the main characters. This is probably the only setback in an over all great title.

Grand Ages: Medieval8

By far the best grand strategy game on PS4. A bit tricky to remember all commands on the hand-control, but most of it is very intuitive. A con that on the same time is a pro is the sieges of other towns that are both boring and therefor very realistic. I totally love that they have not been tempted to put in any anachronistic elements but rely on the base wich is the economic trade-system which itself would carry this game pretty far!
