This is the game that I’ve been hoping for. being a bedroom DJ who likes eclectic mixes and mashups, I can say that Fuser captures the same vibe when you successfully pull off a beat lock mix in real life. As a bedroom DJ with my wife as my only fan, it also gives me the chance to reimagine myself as pre-pandemic, festival-caliber DJ. Yes, there are some DLC and unlocking songs too, and the library isn’t that expansive, but it still gives a challenge in the sense that you have do make do with some songs you like, fuse them with newly discovered ones, and create one, wild, eclectic mix.

Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues9

I'm a fan of the show so there might be some bias here - but I game a lot and I was not able to put the game down for maybe 4 hours upon first boot. Things to like are the levelling system, the skills and moves, and the gameplay. It plays like double dragon more than streets of rage in my opinion. The only gripe I have is it's hard to do holds and throws, though primarily it doesn't matter as the combat is striking more than grappling. The graphics, art style and some enemy characters will come across as campy and almost satirical, but fans of the movie will get this, "so bad it's good" kind of thing.

The next greatest port right up there with Darksiders. The game itself is a well-balanced open world fantasy RPG with addictive combat. No exaggeration, it's a steal for $30.

"9" because of some texture pops and slowdowns in some areas. Everything else was perfect, a laid back, story-driven game. It is not often that a game affects my outlook in life, loss and what love really is. I was able to immediately relate to Henry, the main character. The ending leaves you thinking and reminiscing.

A first-time player here. I missed this one back in 2010 and I was hyped to get it on the Switch. As advised in one of the reviews I switched to high-performance (handheld mode) and I immediately experienced an improvement in gameplay and experience. I think it's a pretty great port at a great price point. I would have paid full price for this, honestly.

This is the first Civ game I've played. I tried to dabble with Civ 3 decades ago but I didn't get the hang of it. Civ 6 on the Switch though is PERFECT. I like the balance and mechanics and I simply cannot put it down. Being on a handheld it's easy to pick up and play again where I left off even during short breaks. The rest of the time in between though all I think about is my city. If you're having second thoughts let this review be the one to sway you into getting it.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus10

No way this game should fall below the 85% mark. It's an excellent port that keeps the experience intact. Panic Button did an amazing job as usual, maximizing the capacity of the Switch for a perfect handheld experience. If you want crisper graphics, play the other versions, but on the switch screen the game is just perfect!

I picked up this game out of sheer curiosity and eye candy from the trailer. After playing for 6 hours, I must say I am hooked. Fresh gameplay style, and a side-scrolling orientation that makes traversing on the map pretty interesting. The characters are well-drawn, the dialogue and script is solid, the overall presentation, beautiful. The upgrade system is simple and straightforward, and lastly, -pardon the cliche- the boss battles are epic. Get this game, it's probably the best one out on the Vita today.

A game of massive scale, I haven't played anything like it. Forget the bigger RPGs out there, this game doesn't spoil the players like they do, and it focuses on gameplay rather than deep story arcs and whatnot. If you like mmos and jrpgs- go get this game.

Ok you Luddites. It's time for a cool change. Stop complaining about the new button layout, the new way of song delivery, and whatever new thing that got you by surprise. It's a different, bold, new direction and the developers put a lot of work in reinventing the somewhat tired rhythm+music genre. This game is fun, and GH Live is such a wonderful bonus to have.

Ok I take it back. This game is terrible. It was fun for the first few minutes but on my second play through the fun wore off. I feel ripped off. This is buggy, unfinished and a complete waste of money.

Once again, Kojima has sneaked up on us with a perfect game. This game is well-balanced with an open world and mission-based gameplay that you can go at it on a series of sleepless nights or just casually play twice a week without losing the momentum and excitement. There is so much to do, so many possibilities and the franchise has evolved into perfection. I will shut up now, just play it and you'll see!

Until Dawn10

The game is based on vital human decisions that should be made for the character in play within a short timeframe- gripping and intense, this decision-making process makes the player easily identify with the character, unless of course you purposely detach yourself from it. This is not how you play this game, or any game for that matter. The graphics are flawless, some forgivable frame-rate drops, but a worthwhile distraction from our real life, mundane, day-to-day decisions.

It might not be for everyone, but I love how this game has improved on a lot of existing game mechanics (qtes, seamless transition from cutscene to gameplay) and coated it with polished and detailed graphics and solid voice **** cover shooting mechanics may be nothing to write home about, but it's still quite fun. I think playtime length was sacrificed for quality, and being a busy gamerdad, I do prefer such games nowadays. I am quite happy that the developers didn't do another open-world 3rd person action game which leaves you loitering aimlessly after the first hour of gameplay; or an FPS with a sub-par multiplayer mode tacked on. If you think it's not wroth your $60, wait for a price drop or get it used, but you still HAVE to play it.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes6

Okay, I won't even mention the length in this review. But over-all, this game is Disappointing. It's like metal gear solid 2 coated in shiny graphics and a higher frame rate. There is no significant improvement in gameplay, and the Enemy AI is so dated! the enemy soldiers would patrol in a linear fashion, and behave erratically when they see you. Combat mechanics and movement feel unnatural and clunky. I would give this a 10, back in 1999. I pity Konami for releasing an unpolished game, and for selling us a game, which is incomplete even in "demo" and "beta" standards. This is a warning on how the full game can, and will fail.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown10

This is the way X-COm should be played. With touch controls, retina graphics for detailed maps and characters, and quicker loading times. The 19.99 price is justifiable for all the work that has been done on the console version and for the successful iOS port.

The Last of Us10

This game brings back the survival-horror and stealth genre into business, with tight controls, like a polished Uncharted if you must. Totally immersive dialogue, sound and graphics, and the story is nicely spread out through cut-scenes and in-game dialogue-- and everything, from the story to the gameplay, is nicely constructed in a learn-as-you go structure. The gunplay could be better, but over-all this is a must buy, genre redefining, swan song for the PS3.
