The First Berserker: Khazan10
Nov 18, 2025
The First Berserker: Khazan is more than just a game. It's a test. Every boss, every level, everything is designed to perfection in order to KILL you. In order to beat this game you take your skills to the maximum, but what makes Khazan truly a masterpiece is how nothing ever feels overwhelming. The builds are complex, there are a lot of skills and stats yet the game slowly introduces them so it feels like you're not only getting better, but learning how to use the game mechanics better. Bosses are hard as hell, some of them took me over 5 hours but they never make me say "****!" If I died, it was my fault. I messed up, and that's a big no in Khazan. The levels are unique and built in a fun way where you come back to save points after progressing and opening a path to come full circle. They're super fun and challenging as well. The music gets you in the mood and feels epic. Graphics look beautiful too, although I did see some frame drops when a lot of action happened on screen, a lot of it during the final boss unfortunetly. The game also glitched and closed itself a couple of times which was weird, but never in a critical situation so I let it slide. The story is ok, the setting is nice but it leaves a lot to be desired which is too bad since the voice acting and presentation of cutscenes were really good. Overall though, despite the small issues Khazan hooked me. The combat system is by far the best in any souls - like and one of the best in gaming in general IMO. The mechanics are deep and satisfying as hell, getting combos on enemies watching their stamina go down for a brutal attack... there is nothing quite like this. The side missions were good too, with some cool new level designs based on main levels and challenging missions with great rewards you can achieve and become stronger. I give this game a 10 because honestly it was my favorite game of 2025, and a game with that spark, that thing which turns video games into meaningful experiences. No matter how many times I died and screamed at the screen I always wanted to come back. Highly recommended!!!

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater8
Nov 17, 2025
I never played an MGS game before, but this was a blast. The story blew me away, it had so much memorable moments. However, it's not perfect. While it looks amazing 95% of the time, I still saw some frame drops and not all graphics looked brand new, like the dropped weapons and so on. (I played on performence mode btw). Gameplay was a lot of fun but there are some really stupid incidents (like the cave, the costume change in Grazny Grad and so on) and features that just stop this from feeling like a brand new game... like, loading screen when you switch territory? C'mon it's 2025! No minimap **** as hell too. Overall though the gunplay and sneaking was super satisfying, and the locations were unique and built well. I liked MGS Delta a lot, but it does have some flaws that stop it from being an ultimatw remake. 8.5/10, I'm definitely playing the rest of this series.

Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal8
Jan 25, 2024
Hitman: Blood Money is one of my favorite games of all time, and Reprisal is a way to finally play this game on Switch. However, Reprisal doesn't add anything to the original game, and I've also encountered some minor glitches (and a big glitch with the audio in the theater mission) and the game even crashed once. Still, for 30$ it's totally worth it. I recommend going for Silent Assassin rank for every mission, the game is much more fun that way.

Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider8
Feb 11, 2023
Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider is a 2D side-scrolling platforming game with a 16bit artstyle. It takes heavy inspiration from the Mega Man X and Zero series, both in its visuals, story and gameplay. The story is pretty straight forward, taking place in a futuristic setting where a strong regime controls the entire world. The Moonrider, a robotic killing machine is freed by the revolutionists in order to fight the leaders of the world. I think it's enjoyable, and it definitely has some really good dialogs about the meaning of governing authorities. My only problem is that most of the dialog moves really fast and it's hard to read everything, with no option to change. Graphics look incredible. The game has a clean 16bit artstyle that is visually appealing to the eyes, and interesting character designs. The environments look clear and unique, but all of them feel like part of the world of the game. If you've ever played a Mega Man game, more specifically the Zero series, you'll feel right at home. Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider has a similar stracture: 2 opening stages, followed by 6 stages that can be cleared in any order ending with a boss battle, which let's Moonrider obtain a new weapon, which have limited ammo. However, unlike Mega Man, there is no specific weakness to every boss, which is good because most of them are pathetically easy anyways. I found all of the weapons to be somewhat useful and fun to use. The main weapon of Moonrider is his sword, which controls similarly to zero's saber in the MMZ series. It's great to use and has a few moves, but unfortunately you don't gain any new moves for it, which is a shame because it feels somewhat lacking in the air. Moonrider can also dash, similarly to MMX, jump and wall jump. I found the wall-jumping as a bit uncomfortable, but I got used to it eventually. In stages, you can explore a bit and achieve chips which can be equipped in order to gain new passive abilities. They're a great feature, and from the ones I tried each one has its uses. I like how in the end of each stage you're told how many collectibles you've missed, so you can go back and replay the stages if you wanna achieve 100%. The level design is great, with some great platforming and combat integrated into the stages. I would say the music is not that memorable though, but it's all right. Overall, Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider is a sweat and short package (2 hours or so), and it was really fun and worth it for only 17$. 8/10

Ikaruga10
Jan 21, 2023
Ikaruga is undeniably the best arcade shooter ever made, and possibly the best shoot-em-up game in history. It takes a simple concept, and makes you master the hell out of it in a series of fun yet brutally hard stages. As a matter of fact, Ikaruga's insane difficulty is what makes it so great and so endlessly replayable, yet it never makes me mad- it's so fair that I can't get mad at the game, only frustrated with myself. This port also looks great on the Switch, and btw- this game has one of the best video game soundtracks of all time. I think I've said enough, but I really recommend picking it up. I really really do.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission10
Jan 21, 2023
This is one of the most addicting games I've ever played. Let's start by addressing the obvious "flaws". Yes, it looks like a PS1 game. And that's exactly how I like it. I don't know why, but in the context of the world the game shows you, which is based on a Dragon Ball video game within a Dragon Ball video game, it feels fitting, Yes, it's gacha based, but- you can't pay real money to get tons of awesome stuff. Remember this was originally a game based on random card collecting, so they wanted to implement the feeling here, but instead of paying, you complete more missions. You can also see what characters you get on certain packs, so it's not totally randomized, so if you want a specific card at least you got that to work with. And that's it basically. Not a lot of bad stuff to say, but I assure you there are a ton of awesome stuff. Gameplay is soooooo addicting. I can't even tell you how much. Whether you play the campaign for hours or side mission / online for a few minutes, it's a great time. Sliding things on the screen, mashing buttons and watching ridiculous Dragon Ball cutscenes never gets old. There are a lot of different mechanics to master, but the game is super easy to start and just gets better with time, and with over 1,000 cards and over 350 playable characters you can create many different teams. The music is addicting af, I swear it was made to make me listen and think about it in a loop. Definitely a 10/10 in this front. Story is magnificent. You're up for 40 hours of different battles, some of them can be really hard, forcing you to change tactics, swipe things like your life depends on it and pray to god that you'll get the slider in the right position. It has some insanely deep cuts to Dragon Ball lore as well as new great characters, good dialogue and so on. It's a must for Dragon Ball fans that wanna see an epic new story with their favorite characters, and I enjoyed every second of it. The game also has a TON of different mods, and even as a person who doesn't like side modes, I really loved them this time around. Playing different Dragon Ball sagas, online battles, arcade mode, different side missions, side plots and more. All of them are just as fun as the main campaign, and can help you farm in order to get new points. Performance is great, running on 60fps in the bigger moments in-battle. Overall, I think this game is amazing, It's a must for every Dragon Ball fan and even people looking for a fun card game. And that's for real, because I'm not actually a huge Dragon Ball fan- I like it but I didn't even watch a whole saga. So that's how great it is, and I'm glad I got it. And you should too.

Samurai Shodown NeoGeo Collection8
Jan 1, 2023
Samurai Shodown Neogeo Collection is an amazing game. All the games are great and wonderfully emulated. The settings are wide, the menus are clean and the museum is incredible. The Online play is available for all games and it works great. Unfortunately, there is no training mode for any of the games, and that's a shame, because we are talking about a competitive fighting game! But overall for 40$ it is a must buy.

Bayonetta 39
Oct 31, 2022
Bayonetta 3 is definitely an outstanding game. The story expands the Bayonetta universe while keeping the style and attitude, alongside surprising twists and awesome cutscenes. You'll try to stop Singularity, which has an army of biological human weapons, which tear through the universe, destroying the worlds in the multiverse one by one. The music doesn't fall short either, with new songs and remixes that won't get out of your head. The design of the enemies, environments and demons looks better than ever, although I found the new look of the characters a bit unappealing. Now let's talk about gameplay. Bayonetta 3 has by far the most refined gameplay in the series. The new mechanics introduces to the combat include summoning demons to help you, adding them as combo finishers and controlling them. You'll get to control different versions of Bayonetta, each with her own unique weapon and demon, which you'll eventually achieve. It's super fun to mix up weapons and demons during the combat, which was more so Bayonetta 1 difficult rather than 2, which I prefer (which means it was harder this time around). You'll also control Viola, which plays differently than Bayonetta. She can obtain witch-time by parrying attacks from enemies, which I liked. Her sword play also felt great, because I usually like the sword weapons the most in Bayo 1&2, and she plays similar to that. She can also use Cheshire to help her, which mixes up the demons' usual mechanics. The weakest part of the gameplay by far is Jeanne, which plays in 2D stealth stages, which kills the pace of the game. They're annoying, unsatisfying, slow and clunky. To simply put it- I wish it wasn't here at all. But besides that, there really is nothing like playing Bayonetta- getting those insane combo chains, hitting enemies the size of a **** and performing Climaxes- it's all here, and it's awesome. One of the most concerning thing leading up to the game's release was the performance of the game. Luckily- I think it's alright. I never experienced anything that hurt the combat experience. I will say that the game has some fps struggles, but it's nothing major. I was more bothered with pop in, which was really noticeable when roaming around in the stages. Luckily, I am willing to give all these problems a pass, because Bayonetta 3 has some seriously incredible graphics. From the cutscenes to fast-paced gameplay, world design and details- it's seriously impressive that the Switch can pull off these graphics, and they definitely contribute to how immersive the world feels. In conclusion- buy this game. I can feel how much work went into it, and it was obviously the product of hard work and a lot of passion. Just ignore Jeanne's stages. 9.5/10.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection9
Sep 2, 2022
Hands down, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is one of the best video game collections of all time. 13 great games (yes, including Turtles NES, a game I have no nostalgia for and I think it's a lot of fun) including platformers, beat-em-ups, fighters and a metroivania for the arcade, NES, Gameboy, Genesis and SNES. There's an incredible museum with tons of behind the scenes info, music, TMNT comics and shows, game box arts and manuals- truly top notch. Online play is avaliable only for some of the games, but it works wonderfully and due to multible versions of the same games being playable, it's understandable. This collectiob is truly worth its asking price of 40$, and J can fully recommend it. Cowabunga indeed!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge8
Jul 12, 2022
TMNT: Shredder's Revenge is a great game. I grew up with TMNT and I love the world, characters, style and practically everything about it. I have no history with the old games but I really wanted to give this game a shot. So I got it for the full 25$ it asks after seeing the positive reaction. I played it on Easy difficulty (and later on Normal and Hard) and I loved it. The incredible pixel art, design, references to the show, stages, combat and story presentation. But- I have 3 major complains about the game. The first one is it's length- this is a really short game. Even when I played it on harder settings it only took 2-3 hours. There is online and arcade mode, but both of them consist of you playing the same 16 stages again and again, under different circumstances, or with other people (locally and online). It's still a nice variety of modes, but for 25$ I'd like a bit more. Completing the side quests can also be fun but it never gets much more than that. So I'd wait for a sale, something like 10$ - 15$ is more fitting. Second, is the difficulty. I may be bad, but I feel like Normal mode is way too hard (and I won't even mention Hard mode). I played the game on Easy and it was just like I wanted (and expected)- fun, arcadey game that I can breeze through with couple of retries. But for some weird reason Normal mode is so much harder! And it's not that I'm bad- I created an online party and even with some people we needed to retry some stages multiple times. I know this game is more so designed for 2-4 players, like the old games, but replaying stages creates my biggest critique of the game- playing stages multiple times. It's. BAD. When I play through a stage once or twice I pretty much get the idea of it, and I'll usually reach the boss on my first try. The problem? I'll probably die. And dying makes me play the whole stage again- so I'm doing the exact same thing. I know this sounds weird because games always make you replay levels, but the problem is that once you played the level 2-3 times you know exactly what to do, and it feels useless. Especially when talking about a beat-em-up game, which can get repetitive very quickly without good design. Now don't get me wrong- the design is incredible, but once I do the exact same thing for 4-7 minutes and then die, and I need to do it again- that drives me crazy. Overall, I was busy complaining about TMNT: Shredder's Revenge because there are a ton of reviews praising this game. It's definitely a great game, but I just wanted to give you my honest opinion. Either way, I still think this game is one of the most addicting games I've ever played, and that any other element I didn't negatively mentioned it up to perfection. I give it 8/10, and you should definitely but it if it seems like what you want. (sorry if I had some English mistakes)

Hitman 310
Dec 24, 2021
Very easily the game of the year 2021 for me. It has it all- Graphics, Story, Gameplay, Fun- Factor, Collectables and anything that defines a good game is here, making it easily one of the best games in the franchise and one of the best games ever in recent years. The levels are open, feel real and huge like you have 6 different open-world games in one. Gameplay is as smooth as butter and the controls, NPC interaction and stealth mechanics are the best the Stealth Genre has ever seen, and are (mostly) perfected. It's a masterpiece for all player types- the ones who just want to goof around and the ones that'll get the "Silent Assassins" rank in every level. So many ways to travers this game give it endless replayability and I sure was happy I had more to play. Give this game a shot- it's 100% worth it.

Tetris Effect: Connected5
Oct 21, 2021
Tetris Effect Connected is perhaps the best version of Tetris that was ever created. While playing it, you'll feel like you experience an unlimited number of journeys. It looks, runs and plays well and the audio is quite outstanding. What's the problem, you ask? There is nothing to do with this game. People criticize games like Mario Golf or Mario Tennis for lack of mods, but for some reason nobody talks about this game. Journey mode is very fun, but you can finish it in an hour or so. Challenge mod can be beaten around the same length but is way less interesting. The online mode is also quite lacking. You have couple of modes, and unlike other games like Puyo Puyo Tetris and Tetris DS in all of them you pretty much play the same old Tetris Effect with different uninteresting gimmicks. There are some interesting stuff here and there, but nothing stands out at all. And now, for the thing that absolutely kills this game for me. You cannot play without internet. You heard it right. No one mentions it and it drives me crazy. Tetris, a game that was a perfect fit for handles like the Gameboy due to it's easy pick-up-and-play nature cannot be played on the go? This is outrageous. All this sweet package is not chip though, and will cost you 40$. It is simply unacceptable that this game has such high scores. Unfortunately, I must suggest you'll skip this one folks. Mega Man 910
Jul 31, 2021
I've played almost every Mega Man game, and I can say without a doubt that is the best one, and it is my favorite game of all time. Unlike any other game I can consider "my all time favorite", Mega Man 9 isn't a Masterpiece all things considered. It's a Masterpiece in every aspect, and even more. From the incredible 8 bit graphics that make me wish the gaming world never discovered anything beyond this era, music that I can hear until the day I die, outstanding level design that is the pick of the platformer genre, story that is complex enough to be the absolute maximum I want from a classic Mega Man game, the best art and enemy design in the series, balanced weapons that make the best selection in the series and just the right difficulty to make me smile all along the journey. This game is more than a Masterpiece ****, it's a work of art that represents everything gaming is in my eyes, and if it was art, there was no price I wouldn't pay for it. (sorry for my English LoL, I just love this game and wanted to express it although my English can be lucking)
