While the creation suite and roster, much like previous games, are both great, it’s hard to really say that either of that matters when everything else is either worse in every way, or not improved in any shape or form, making this the weakest wrestling game in recent memory, and one to skip since it’s just plain worse.

Yoshi's New Island5
Aug 29, 2019
While the level design, gameplay, and charm from most of the game's beforehand is here and accounted for, the absymal music, hilariously easy bosses, visuals that don't exactly mesh together, and lack of any forward progress in the series makes this a charming adventure that is also incredibly forgettable, as this is essentially the same game as the original, but no where near as good, and not much more.

Mario Kart 649
Aug 27, 2019
Where the series didn't need training wheels anymore, Mario Kart 64 is an immensely fun time that'll satisfy for many more years to come, with it's varied courses, excellent music, great track design, charming visuals, amazing battle mode, and pretty good roster. Where this game falters is the lack of any unlockables, as everything is available from the start. While the amount of content for an N64 game is certainly ample, it takes away a little bit of longevity this game could've had. Other than that, this is still a fantastic kart racer that really kick started the 3D kart racer genre, and did it with charm and fun times to boot.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze10
Aug 24, 2019
With creative and varied levels, incredible visuals, wonderful music, excellent structure, and overall ample amount of charm, this is not only one of the best Donkey Kong games, but also one of the best 2D platformers ever made, making this a modern classic that's given new life on the Switch, and with this being portable as well, this is an absolute must own if you have the console, especially if you enjoy 2D platformers.

Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back5
Aug 24, 2019
While the levels, visuals, and gameplay are decent, the forgettable music, boring collectables, and short length makes this an incredibly by the numbers 2D platformer that is certainly the best of the Bubsy series, but incredibly paltry in comparison to the countless better options out there.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe9
Aug 23, 2019
With phenomenal visuals, creative level design, fun bosses, excellent music, and overall satisfying nature of completing it, this is one of the best games in the series, and while I wish it took more risks in terms of it's theme, it's still a great 3DS game and an amazing Kirby game that is a steal at only 20$.

Diddy Kong Racing10
Feb 7, 2019
With adorable visuals, great track design, fantastic music, awesome roster, fantastic adventure mode, and vehicle variety, this really might be the best kart racer on the N64 thanks to the sheer amount of content and fun times this brings.

VSR: Void Space Racing4
Feb 7, 2019
While the visuals and music are both phenomenal, the overly floaty controls and overabundance of momentum makes this one of the hardest and least fun racing games I've played in a while.

Sonic the Hedgehog0

This is what you get when you take everything that made the Genesis version a classic and flush it all down the toilet, as the awful frame rate, sluggish speed, bad screen crunch, poorly remade music, and just everything in general makes this one of, if not the worst port of all time.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker9
Jan 2, 2019
While the smaller than usual length may put off some at first, the adorable art style, great visuals, addictive gameplay, good music, great level design, and excellent premise makes this one of the best spin-offs ever made by Nintendo.

Super Mario All-Stars5
Dec 29, 2018
While the collection of the remade classics have always been great, that doesn't excuse the overall laziness that surrounds this, as this is literally just the same game as the game of the same name on the SNES just with a nice looking box. There's nothing special about this otherwise and is overall, really disappointing. Not bad, but it should've had so much more.

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing0
Dec 23, 2018
With the complete lack of hit detection, racing, competition, physics, and logic all together, this is as far from being a game as it can be, as the hilariously broken and unfinished mess that is this isn't necessarily something you play, but rather experience. In that regard, I do recommend it to those looking for a good chuckle, but not really to anyone else otherwise.

Micro Machines World Series3

While the presentation and gameplay are top notch, that hardly matters when literally everything else is so bare bones, that even games from 2-3 generations ago offer more to do and plenty more enjoyment than this.

Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage5
Dec 19, 2018
While the visuals, gameplay, and presentation are all great for a GBA game, it's hard to ignore the repetitive mini games, short length, and subpar boss battles. At least this game still kind of feels like the actual great Crash GBA games, which is much more than what I could say for Spyro Orange, as that game literally has nothing for Spyro fans other than the Sprite model and that's it.
Game Boy Advance

Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy3
Dec 19, 2018
While the visuals and gameplay are really good for a GBA game, the repeated mini-games, the complete lack of anything that made Spyro great to begin with, and overwhelmingly short length makes this not only an immense waste of time, but a slap in the face for Spyro fans.
Game Boy Advance

Wii Music3
Dec 17, 2018
While the presentation and idea are both fantastic, it's hard to say that matters when the main music playing, song selection, and modes are all extremely sub-par to the point they all make this game really pointless and dumb, which easily makes this the worst in the "Wii" line of games.

Sega Genesis Classics9
Dec 11, 2018
While the game library isn't the absolute best we've seen in a Genesis collection, it still has almost everything that made the Sega Genesis a viable competitor to the Super Nintendo, making this an absolute no brainer for retro game fans, and with this being able to be portable as well, this very well may be the definitive version of this collection.
Nintendo Switch

Sonic Forces4
Dec 10, 2018
While the visuals, music, and character creator are all good stuff, the painfully short levels, the gimped gameplay, plot hole ridden story, and overall lack of the fun of previous Sonic games makes this the worst in the boost series, and one of the biggest disappointments of 2017, especially coming after the amazing Sonic Generations.

WWE 2K180
Nov 4, 2018
While the idea of playing a full fledged WWE game on the go is novel, the novelty wears off quickly when you realize you can barely even play the game whatsoever thanks to the endless slowdowns due to awful optimization and horrible programming. All this for a jaw dropping 60$ makes this one of the biggest rip-offs of all time.
