FANTASTIC! Rarely you can say "it was exactly what I was expecting", but this game was really up to level of what I was expecting from a Hollow Knight sequel! Bigger and better, faster and harder, Hornet and not Ghost, had such a blast playing it. Only one tiny complaint - damn this game is huge... xD
AMAZING bullet hell with AWESOME electronic music! All your best electronics artists in one game! Main story mode is not too long either, which I consider a plus. If you need more, there is plenty on top of the main story though. It's perfect for what it is - a simple but awesome indie game, a little masterpiece. The only reason it's not 9 is because it's a bit too simple to be on the same level as bigger and "awesomer" games.
Loved the Humankind Revolution, but this is rather a pass for me in 2026. Maybe it's just too old by this point. Prague looks cool (although not as cool as gold filter in the original), however the gameplay feels just old and still unpolished. Some small bugs, inconsistent stealth, movable objects vibrate and bug out, shooting is just crap.... Something screams the game is incomplete both mechanically and story-wise.
Looks and feels pretty good. However, two things kinda bothered me:
1. Pixels are rather large and animation is rather poor. Not a big deal, but would be nice to have a bit finer pixel graphics, something a la HoMM3
2. Absence of a town screen and proper all-including town interface just really threw me off. Feels weird to interact with a town without being able to "enter" it.
Good start, but rather repetitive and disappointing mid game with "Evangelion" ending when devs didn't know how to elegantly finish the game. Not even close to Sir Brante.
I thought it was another flavour of the month (and maybe it is), but we had so much fun with friends! Never thought I'd enjoy an extraction shooter, but this one is done really well.
+1 for amazing optimisation, great visual and sound design, and easy UI.
Honestly,it's just a big DLC. Mechanics are still very nice, but vibe feels slightly off. The whole plot and characters added feel rather cliche/woke/stupid.
Very pleasant controls, feels clear and tactile, great sound and amazing retro style of the classic Metal Slugs.
Cool gameplay mechanics, but felt too much to get them all right from the get-go.
It's ok. Neither Sekiro nor Hollow Knight.
Mechanics are good, but some parries and green parries aren't that smooth. Charms are not as interesting as in HK, plot is not only boring but overloaded with some fake science mumbo jumbo (why bother adding it?). Pretty much everything gets repetitive quickly...
Perfect feel of movement and action, smooth flow and very nice style and visuals. Too bad I got bored of it after only a few hours, still think of it highly though.
Really good movement and action, the game has a very good flow to it. Too bad, I got bored of it after a few hours. Some visuals look a bit plain as well.
Great remaster! Really brought back the feeling of my childhood, haha. This remaster has few gameplay improvements, but mostly it feels the same. That being said, it has the same old game design and wonky NPC behaviour as the original, which makes it even more nostalgic lol
AMAZING! I don't know what to say, except just AMAZING! Unlike Dark Souls, you have a semi-coherent plot. Instead of build diversity you get more streamlined and precisely polished mechanics. No more rolls - only parry!
Amazing speedrun shooter. Very fluid, clean and snappy. Pure pleasure running and re-running the levels to get that feeling of perfection. Music is very good and helps to stay "in the zone".
You can ignore the story, especially if you hate anime. However, it's so light-hearted that it kinda helps to unwind between missions of pure concentration. Perfect side grade to Ghostrunner.
Amazing sequel to a very fun game. It became bigger, better, prettier, funnier (thanks to many funny bugs :D) and still awesome to play with your friends. Must have for a co-op party game!
Very nice X-com clone. Gameplay-wise no issues - plays well and clear, quite a good interpretation of X-com system without RNG. Story, characters and overall setting are super generic, even for a WH40K.
Play only if ran out of turn-based games and want more.
It is still a great game, however it feels like there isn't any improvement. More of stuff, but not better, which is not bad if that's what you want.
Main characters are all awesome (love the spin on Thor), but some side characters (looking at you, DEI hire Angriboda) are lazy-written and feel cheap. The plot feels artificially stretched out, doesn't feel focused. The first game made such a big impact, that the sequel just feels like a DLC.
Great quick multiplayer game. Very fluid and fun! Lacks depth to it, but it doesn't matter since it's just a quick game for when you need to kill some time with couple other friends :D
Overall bitter taste after trying it. Drawing got much better, I wan't fun of chibi in the first DD1. Fighting got more predictable, reworked skills are awesome, token system is cool. And... that's it. Sequel is more repetitive with no diversity between runs apart from different comps. Every region is the same, just different colour scheme, doesn't feel like progression. I finished the Mountain from the first try, and then game just tells you to do it again... no fun beating the same enemies over and over when there is nothing new awaits at the end except more same enemies. Again, yet to see anyone doing Rogue-like as good as Binding of Isaac Relationship system is meh. Not bad, but it's too many things to take care of now. Driving the cart is useless. No log to understand what happened. No dungeons.
AMAZING GAME! At first, I had a love-hate relationship with it. I hated its mechanics for the first 50 hours but couldn't stop playing because of captivating story. Then it clicked and now I can't have enough of Pathfinder/PoE/BG/D&D. It really changed my mind about the whole genre! +1 point for being a very special experience for me personally. However be warned! Pathfinder rules are VERY tedious. Within first 50 hours I had to spend more time in various wikies than in the game itself to understand how this and that works. Inventory and ability panels fill up with tens and tens of icons, and every one of them does something. You REALLY have to sink your time into it to understand it all.
Amazing final chapter in Metro series. Honestly, there are couple things that aren't great (like the whole pioneer map), however everything else is so well done. Sometimes feels a bit old in term of game design and especially body/face animation, but overall it just gives a feeling of the last great game of that pre-mocap era. +1 for very souly Russian post-apoc atmosphere, touchy ending and DLC.
A very-very nice shooter. It's such a pleasure to move and shoot in this game, that I don't really have anything to nitpick. Still haven't finished it though as it's the same thing over and over, albeit done well.
It's pretty nice and feels very-very responsive. Overall, one of the best rhythm games. However, this pop version of Hellsinger is not my cup of tea: too plain.
It must have been amazing game back in 2012, but in 2023 it is just a famous name, nothing else. I'm glad they basically invented the genre - it spawned so many amazing games since then.
USSR Bioshock. It's a good game with cool USSR utopia visuals, but don't expect anything outstanding from it. Big con though: you play as piece of **** person, very unpleasant.
Amazing remaster! Feels like nothing changed until you press F5, and that's when you realise how much work was put into it. Diablo 2 and Starcraft 1 are the best examples of a proper remaster. Unfortunately, since the gameplay didn't change at all (which is the point of a remaster TBH), the age of the gameplay really feels, it's just not as fun to play as 20 years ago. The only reason to play this is for nostalgia, and that it brings in heaps! +1 for nostalgia.
