Game that always stick in my heart and mind and I egearly come back to throw some people off the buildings in this game lol. This was one of the universally unique ideas with all edgy biohazard going on. Interesting characters, lore, unique leveling system, bio viruses, infection you only wish for this game to get even more world expansion on it. For many it may come as shallow idea but unless you sit with it and catch the fine details you can't get enough. To this day leveling Alex skills to the max and then cutting trought world map like knife in the butter is one of my favouirte things to do! Shout-out to this piece for being my early-years artistic inspiration and one of my favourite games to this day. You're not maybe a hero in this game but being a villain can be cool as hell! (Robert Cross forever goat!)

I cannot express enought how amazing it is. The system of game is simple, theres not as many options but it keep player engaged enough! Theres plenty of fun characters, little fun stories and humor its all that wins the show. The choosing of artstyle, colours and the optional video tapes mixed in game are just cherry on top. Game is heavy stylized and the music choices are splendid! Nothing more than to grab a lovely cup of tea and enjoy the game!

Game that welcomes you to the world of sanity and mental health in form of storytime. Such form works perfectly with the atmosphere of eerie emotions but also calm segments. The main protagonist is named Kay adult girl who for me wasnt likeable character. Something about her and her lacking of knowledge in the most basic manners and psychic forms were frustrating. Her brother Sunny was more likeable the same goes with her parents. Story at the beginning have nice pacing to the moment of last stage where gameplay becomes tiring. Theres a lot of orginal ideas for some of tasks and bosses but after stage with Kay brother it all goes to oblivion. If it comes to graphic the stages were looking fine but a bit empty at times. The graphic could be better but for the game this size I couldnt complain more. I wish the humans models would be so good like monster ones. Animations assets at some points were painfully reused and the ideas for puzzle mechanic to with at the end were something...terrible. Main monster beings were the most interesting ones. They all have beautifull designs voices and traits. Game depiction of real lifes and struggles were the most accurate. I loved every part of it since every part of it had some lessons- if you looked past poor writing. Overall solid but one time gameplay ****: Voice acting is bad. Especially for main character.

My question is why? Why would you release a potentially good game with ton of s*it of purchases inside of the game. Basically I say that this game is nothing more than pay to win. It is pay to win or you will find yourself grinding off 100 hours to make any ******* progress in this game. The characters are enjoyable, the classes are enjoyable, the skills are enjoyable- The storytelling case also enjoyable. The dungeons, system, traits and items are Enjoyable. But there's so much gacha in it, there's so much pay to win. There's so much to this game trying to shove down your throat the purchases to just progress level in the story, and it's frustrating. You can make a competitive gambling and you can make game focused on the pay to win, but this franchise is known from its good storytelling and interesting world building. Why would you do this to this franchise? Why would I have to spend weeks or months into the game to just discover the lore of the characters I enjoyed much? The systems are not bad, but the enemies with time are becoming very overpowered, so prepare to waste some of your precious money to just progress in the game. To get better items you have to grind or pay. Like I said, everything here is to pay. PAY PAY PAY! If you wanted to enjoy the new instalment to the franchise, you will be deeply disappointed unless the devs will make a change.

The fact that they even entertained this notion of poor remake or attempt of remaking the game and wrapping it in a fancy package is laughable. I remember the original Challange of Warlords, the style, the feeling, the game- not so special mechanics that the story made very special. I have so many questions from why the classes now have difficulty level stuck next to them that we cannot just choose why we have so much new classes and who was the artist who did such a poor job at making the icons. Where's are the old artists? Why everything seems to be so slapped together, poorly made in the slob and trying to pretend it's an old classic game. The game seems to be the same, the mechanic seems to be the same (with extra unecessary changes that made the game more like luck gamble than the game), so why not just release the old game how it was into the system? There's no need to push AND push it more and I found myself a bit struggling in the game play and being tired by the pretense level. The only saving grace of it is that sometimes this piece of trash is sold very cheap for a little money. Even so, I wouldn't recommend buying it. Get yourself an old experience with the Chellange of the Warlord and save yourself on this trash. They technically could make a full blown remake of the game and not edited poor port of it. I can only give it one because of the nostalgia purposes, but except of this, it's Big Fat 0.
