This is a funny funny movie. I avoided it like the plague with all the bad reviews but happened to catch it on TV so figured i would give it 10 minutes to see how bad it was. It wasnt. It was funny funny funny. The part with the Mum and Son and the sons' first awkward kiss. That is priceless.

Horrid. Its ccomes across as an arrogant movie which one is supposed to suspend all belief in order to enjoy it. May be find for cult members but the general public dont buy it.

Dramatic documentary about colonial occupation and murder of indigenous inhabitants told without remorse. Its a movie one would expect in a parallel universe where the bad guys won but horrifying it exists in ours.

Good acting I guess. Its just that the movie **** . Its no Jason Bourne. Its not even complicated. Its weak. Amazing how even with such good actors a script like this seems to slide past everyone.

Horrible. I gave up after 20 minutes. It is so annoying that one would think that it has to get better but it doesn't. What a waste of talent and resources.

When compared to the First 48 series this documentary is very weak. The storyline is weak and meandering. The film appears outdated as this genre has much better offerings on TV. Can't see why he made this.

What a load of rubbish. There is no real story and it has one of the strangest endings i have ever seen. Its a nothing story with a nothing ending. They must have left half of the movie on the editing floor because that was a piece of disjointed nonsense.

Its good. It mixes the war with real life without either overcoming the other. Whilst it is a documentary it does not dictate the story to you but it flows from the screen providing you with the questions.

Powerful. Not a happy story by any account but a story of mis-guided friendship where there is no happy ending for the 'good one'. Its a dark novel brilliantly transformed to the movie screen.

They have the same phone. And that's what my unconscious mind was thinking whilst my conscious mind was being bored to death. She's hot thouugh so that's what the one point is for.

The kid is annoying. The voice over will drive you nuts. Its a fairy tale movie where there is no real tale to speak of. Tom Hanks will give some wind to its sails but its destiny is the bargain bin.

Its a mix of lawnmower man ( obtains powers ) and cloverfield ( shot from camera ) but is a forgettable movie. It was entertaining how they played with their new powers but there is nothing new here that hasnt been done before.

When the wolves had a 'personal vendetta' against the survivors i knew this was going to be one of those movies. They should have suspended all belief and make them vampire wolves.

Excellent. If you enjoyed Donnie Darko you will enjoy this. The ending, whilst confusing at first, makes sense when you think about it. A very very enjoyable movie.

Old school movie where there is not always a happy ending but an ending with a little hope. Its a sad yet truly real story and the way it sets off the old values against the street values is clever and thought provoking. Brilliant acting...great movie.

Rundown of the electric car market but doesn't deliver anything new than what a casual observer of the trend doesn't already know. There is also a bitterness to the movie which feels like the personal opinion of the producer infecting the script. It may have scored higher but for the almost hatred shown for carlos the CEO of Nissan/Renault and for the suspiciously complete omission of the Toyota Prius. Not one mention. I am guessing since the film makers were not given access to Toyota and their EV developments that they would have their own 'Revenge' and not mention them. Childish and detracts from what film making should be about.

Rubbish. Has a Titanic poor man loves rich girl storyline interwoven with some cop knows what ur dad did sub-plot which is completely uninteresting. Cheap movie set coupled with cheap acting results in a cheap farce of a movie.

I gave up after 10 minutes. Imagine Nanking(2007) with the flippant humour of an Indian Jones movie and you have , in essence, this sorry sorry excuse for a movie. Its awful. I am embarrassed for the director . And i can only imagine how Mr Bale feels. Its actually a bit disturbing how the death of children can be inter-mixed with humour. I feel somewhat disgusted by the movie and i can only hope that it quickly disappears and will not be for general release.

Maybe i expected more after such rave reviews. But there is nothing new in this movie. Yes , the acting is great but the storyline is weak and uninteresting. Maybe there is something there on a deeper level but it escaped me.

Its an enjoyable movie to watch and certainly keeps your intention. The character played by Jude Law is a meaningless distraction and its obvious that most of that sub-plot ended up on the editing floor. The chromatography is excellent.

Its a reasonably good movie let down by a rather unfulfilled ending. Had I known of the type of ending I probably would have given it a miss. Its not a memorable film by any means and the fact that it scores in the green is probably a reflection of the poor choice of movies these days that anything of merit of this film.

Has to win the Oscars for Filmography. It reminded me of the movie Drive and one could also imagine that the character that Harrison plays is the pre-cursor to his character in No Country for Old Men. Crazy and peculiar. It does lack a more compelling storyline but the overall mood of the film compensates.

Its embarrassing. It fails dismally. I can see how it could have worked as a play but unlike say , the importance of being earnest, its fails horribly in the movie version. The jovial twists and turns of the play do not work on the screen version.

The story is somewhat muddled by the face that you have an evil child ( think Omen evil ) who then in latter life commits a massacre. The massacre part , with all the real memories of Columbine etc, is somewhat diluted by the unrealistic evilness of the villain. It would have played better if the kid was unusual but he was too Omenese to be believable.

I love UFC so this movie had to score high for me. Raw, MMA, guy **** the **** fails. No suspense. No story. No tension. No neckhold. Its a Sunday afternoon movie about two brothers and a Dad who had a falling out years ago....About nothing.

Hmm hard one to mark. Its in the black and white mystery , adulterous genre. Its an Oscar Wilde thriller if you may. Its good and has a nice twist but its the journey that's makes it enjoyable. Plant an old black and white film complete with English fog and place it in modern London and you have this film.

If you know what a Margin Call is then you will be disappointed with this movie. The movies way of explaining anything is to say 'in plain English'. Apparently no-one in the upper echelons of the firm know nothing about securities as it is boiled down to the lowest common denominator possible. This is no Enron- The smartest man in the room' - this is Fast and Furious. Fail.

Weird Weird Weird. Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful. It all begins to make sense towards the end so all the questions and confusion of the beginning makes sense. If you are patient enough and curious enough you will be greatly rewarded. Make time for the movie. Understand that it will be great. You only get to see such a movie maybe only once a decade.

Dont be afraid of the dark. Should be called dont be afraid of this movei. Its not scary. Its brings nothing new to the genre. The scenes seem to be badly cut and the characters have no weight behind them.

Punch Drunk Love. You wish. Its Punch Drunk Love without the drunk and Love. So its just punch.. Which is just a berry drink. And it has no alcohol. Its boring. Just like this film. And rambling. Like this review. This movie only tells one tale for me...that the director must be pompous and arrogant.

Lame. Had such high hopes. Gave up after 15 minutes. Its mindless...even with Ryan Gosling, its just falters. Relies too much on Steve Carell. Tries to be the next American beauty but ends up as a DVD bin box discount. Bypass this load of rubbish.

Amazing . Its a mixture of the following : Rules of Attraction, Punch drunk love, AI, Wall-e, No country for old men, Vanilla sky, Fight Club and a lovely Electronic soundtrack. Best film so far of this decade.

Roger Moore from the Orlando Sentinel review says it all. "Glibly put, this challenging time-skipping rumination is the big screen equivalent of watching that "Tree" grow." The only good thing is that now i know which reviewer to follow. Nothing more to say.

Its awful. There is a feeble attempt to interject some 'are you from London' english humor but it falls flat. This is a awful awful movie......i dont get it. What was Colin Farrell thinking !

Hmm. Its alright. Its cloverfield and blair witch project combined. But it has no real tension and it feels like its missing pieces...probably due to editing. The ending is very disappointing.

Lose. I wanted to stop watching it but the girlfriend was glued to the fairy story that was Win Win. Its melodrama. Its a saturday matinee. Its humor without the humor. Its a story without a story. Its annoying.

This is a good movie. I didnt expect much but I liked it. It reminded me a bit of AI. A nice subtext. Its an entertaining movie and i certainly enjoyed watching it. Let there be more !

I disagree with many 'reviewers' and feel that this version is a much more polished movie than the original spanish movie. The soundtrack is amazing and the suspense is real. An amazing achievement by Crowe.

This is a good movie. I was not expecting too much but its a very real and funny movie. The story about the Dad is very touching. Its a guy meets girl movie coupled with the blue humor of Californication , the fast paced fun of entourage , and a bit of Wilfred thrown in. I like this movie.

Enjoyable. Hard though to understand the accent sometimes. Excellent filmography. Best i have seen in a long time. It captures the small Mennonite town so well. Film is a mystery but in that Cohen brothers way. Weird and wonderful where nothing happens above the surface but where you feel the vibration of the tremors below.

Had something going for it and i laughed at loud at a couple of scenes but it loses its way and becomes intensely boring with a school girl ending where everyone ends up friends. I got so bored i left about 10 minutes before the end....Nothing more to say.

Its the kind of movie you might watch on a sunday afternoon with Faith based commercials spanning the whole movie. The movie is weak. The acting is weak. Couldnt finish it. Can be purchased in the discount bin at your local store in a few months time.

Yep. Its enjoyable. If you watched a couple of bad movies beforehand, then, this would certainly be one to watch. Its lacking in narrative and story but I had enough interest to watch it to the end. Its a a bit arty but i could recommend it. Its just that some people may find it **** you like bank robber movies (but no action) and chases (no real action) , then its one to watch,,,,,if you need a strong dialogue and a story..then probably not.

A very enjoyable movie. Its something you would watch on a rainy sunday afternoon. It is not memorable by any means but it has a good start and an excellent ending. Probably because the main character is not an overtly nice guy , it does detract somewhat from the experience; but when should movie making always feature a redeeming character! One to watch for sure.

The movie is like Jazz. Either you will like or you will not. I dont like Jazz but i liked this movie. Its akin to a new genre of movie **** like a documentary and you are instantly transported into the lives of the two comedians. It probably could have had more nuisances but its an enjoyable journey of two friends as they traverse wales.

Amazing.... Where the story within the story becomes the narrative. This is real art...that of art being a mirror of Life. Great acting, great story, great scenery. Emotion.

Its a good subject to tackle and it would be a good educational movie for young kids but in the end it comes across as quite boring. It lacked something, maybe suspense or something. Some parts didn't play out so well and falls flat at the end. No where near its metacritic score.

Could have been so so good. It dotted all the i and t's but then it forgot the details. I was engrossed. Nice twists and turns. And then. Well. It defies logic how the situation evolves. Holes begin to evolve . It becomes somewhat illogical when for example the kidnappers with all their cunning seem to towards the end just leave their fingerprints all around having at the start taking such careful consideration. (there is one other major illogical scene which i will omit rather than spoil the movie) The movie should have taken its time and do-over some scenes to make it more plausible. Such a great effort but the minor details and illogical scenes cast a heavy shadow over what could have been a great movie.

Did I enjoy it. Yeah i did. Sortof. Would i watch it again. Nope. Its a nice scenic tour around Cairo and is certainly a nice relaxing movie to watch. But , one of its failings is the lead female character. She appears mute and unsuitable to the role. There is no chemistry at all emancipating from her. If the movie had concentrated as much on the script and on the chosen female lead as they did with the scenery then it could have been good. Remnds me of an alright black and white movie.

David Duchovny is excellent in this movie. Its a good movie but I cant help feeling that the studios saw a movie that was too dark ( which it scratched towards the latter part of the movie ) and polished it off. The result has changed what could have been a dark movie into an enjoyable Sunday afternoon movie. The ending kills off any notion of it being alternative. I liked it, just felt that there was something else there which was unfortunately sidelined.
