One of the most thrilling thrillers I've ever seen. This is surprising, as this movie is really old and black and white, but very true. The Birds is possibly my favorite Hitchcock film.

I've seen this movie twice, and can confirm that it's a pretty legit superhero movie. The main character is a bit stereotypical for a Marvel hero, but ultimately is pretty likeable. Visually, this movie is AAA. This movie has some good humor.

This movie is surprisingly awesome and entertaining. It isn't a great horror movie, but a really great action/zombie movie. The ending is AWESOME. This movie gets extra points for being historically accurate.

This movie is surprisingly good, especially when many people are calling it the worst movie of the year. Will Smith is pretty good in this movie, and gets better as the movie progresses. His ork partner is a really like-able character, and ironically brings real humanity to the movie. Visually, this movie is really interesting, especially in the opening scene. The world this movie created is really cool. Many of the action scenes in this movie are awesome, and the soundtrack is dynamite. There are some issues, but the good in this movie mostly overcomes the bad.

Easily on of my all time favorite animated movies. The music is incredible, the story is moving and powerful, and the animation is almost flawless. One of the most profound, chill-inducing animated movies ever created.

This movie is... bad. Almost every character is low-down, stupid, anger-inducing piece of trash. In an attempt to avoid Disney life lessons and good, cheesy character development, the movie makes the characters set-in-stone horrible people who don't learn anything. The main character, his wife, his best friend, and his kids are all terrible in their own way, and made me want to scream and physically hurt them. 85% of the jokes are NOT FUNNY, AT ALL. There were a few hilarious moments and lines, and the French guy was pretty hilarious, but besides these things this movie was not funny. All in all, watching this movie was a really bad experience.

This movie is pretty much amazing in every way. Its funny, it's sad, and it's always interesting. I really like how it was made to look like a Documentary. The acting was AMAZING, from almost every actor, no matter how small the role. Jack Black is really amazing in this movie.

The first time I watched this film, I thought it was okay, but nothing really great. The second time, I realized how awesome and amazing it really was. The apocalyptic world is incredibly well made and interesting, along with the robots and fat baby people. The villain, AUTO, was just great, along with Wall-E and EVA. The movie has a beauty to it that is hard to describe.

At parts, the movie feels really slow and I really didn't get many of the jokes, but there is some good stuff. The movie has some funny lines and a really cool, really complicated plot. I had to look up an explanation for the movie after I watched it due to the complicated, in-depth twist. A cool heist movie with some heart.

I have seen this movie over and over again, and it is an enjoyable ride every time. It's very entertaining with twists and turns, and has a good sense of humor for the most part. The main character's friend is great, and Nicholas Cage is alright.

Not all of the jokes work and frankly several of the action scenes really bored me, but this movie has plenty of good stuff. For one, the video game world created is very clever and well-done. There are NPCs, cut scenes, multiple lives, and character stats in this movie and all of these things are well-done and entertaining. I would call this one of the only good video game movies from this alone. It really feels like the characters are in a modern video game. The best thing about this movie, however, are the big-name actors. I have never enjoyed watching Dwayne Johnson or Kevin Hart as much as I did in this movie as I have in any of their other movies. Jack Black is really great, as usual. Watch it for the performances and good jokes, not the plot or action.

Yet another well-made, entertaining, impactful Christian movie. Not perfect, and the ending is truthfully a bit over the top, but has it's heart in the right place.

The best superhero movie ever made. Hands down. The plot is incredible, with twists and turns. The villains - Two-face and The Joker - are more interesting than the bleep-blooping hero. From the incredible opening scene to the ending, this movie is amazing.

One of the most awesome, complicated, visually impressive live action movies ever. This movie twists your brain with twist upon twist; dream inside dream. The ending is one of the most memorable and brain-maddening in the movie world.

TBH, there is stuff to like about Suicide Squad. Jared Leto's Joker is flat-out awesome - he absolutely kills it during the few minutes he's on screen. The beginning where we seen information about each member of the squad was really cool, and really got my hopes up for the rest of the movie. Will Smith was good, (is he ever not good?) but had some really stupid lines. I don't know why, but I really like Captain Boomerang - another good character who doesn't have enough screen time Pretty much everything else about this movie was either meh or terrible. I hated Harley Quin and the flame guy - can't really pinpoint a specific reason. The villain was terrible, with a laughably terrible line near the climax of the movie. All in all, a weak movie with too few redeeming properties.

This movie feels LONG, but has a real sense of magic, friendship, and wonder. All of the giants steal the show, acting in a way that is very interesting. I felt a sense of magic as I watched the BFG run through streets and leap across large stretches of land. The visuals in this movie are really great, and the BFG is magical.

This movie is surprisingly fun and enjoyable. Many of the jokes were really funny, and the movie doesn't really have a boring or dull moment. Not all the jokes work, but the ones that do, and the entertaining plot and characters (R.L. Stein), make this movie really worth watching.

This movie is overall pretty awesome, with interesting, likeable new characters. The best thing about it is how well it fits into the Star Wars universe. Ray explores a Star Destroyer, and lives in a fallen Imperial vehicle. Visually, this movie is pretty great. It also has a lighthearted sense of humor that works pretty well and sets a nice tone for the movie.

This is one of the weirdest, and slowest movies that I've ever seen. Every scene was 5 minutes longer than it had to be, and watching this movie was a painful experience as a result. The plot is complete nonsense, with no real direction or anything. The only redeeming factors are Hal, and the music.

The animation and style of this movie is unpreceded. It is magical, terrifying, profound, and funny all at different times. I've never seen a movie just like The Secret Of Kells. Fantasy at it's very best.

This movie has a real message with great humor. It has many fist-pump moments and moments to make you either angry or really happy. The story and characters have real heart.

The plot is extremely original and non-stop interesting. The movie's comedy is hilarious at times, and filled with great dry sarcasm. All of the actors give a good performance, and the ending of this movie is dynamite. That being said, it has 2 big problems. 1: When the main guy looks through his girlfriend's pictures, his girlfriend looks THE SAME AGE in every picture, and, if you remember the scene, there are quite a few pictures. This is an error that just doesn't make sense. My second problem may be a little more controversial: Every white person is evil. I know the movie is saying something about racism, but in the real world, not EVERY white person is a racist monster. If it had at least one NOT RACIST white character, it wouldn't have this problem.

Man, this is a surprisingly good movie! It is an entertaining superhero story with great, laugh-out-loud humor, and pretty good, well-acted characters. The main character and his Mexican friend are especially entertaining. The plot and concept of changing-size works really well in this movie. When people talk about great Marvel movies, they seem to leave out Ant-Man from the conversion, and it really annoys me because I really like this movie.

Wow. This movie is way better than it should be. Michael Keaton is at his best in this movie, playing an energetic, ruthless, do-whatever-it-takes salesperson. His character is smooth, hate-able, and extremely interesting in this movie, and really ties the film together. The other actors are all pretty good. The plot is interesting, and some of the shots are pretty good and memorable. "The Founder" is a really entertaining docu-drama that I highly recommend to anyone.

This is a really bleeping great movie. Normally, I bleeping hate the whiny face teenager actor (can't remember his name) but he's really great in this movie. J. K. Simmons is amazing in this movie, giving a really demanding, violent, energetic performance. The plot is consistently entertaining and the twist ending is amazing. I highly recommend this movie.

Can a movie about 12 angry men in 1 room for more than an hour be any good? Yes. Yes it can. "12 Angry Men" is a really cool movie that has lots of moments that made me say "Ahhhaaa!". The characters are really interesting and entertaining throughout, and some are really likable/hate-able, in a good way. I was interested for the whole movie, that alone makes it worthy of a few points.

One of the most moving, emotional movies I've ever watched. The humor is quirky and dark, and adds to the tone of the movie. I felt extremely depressed by the movie's dark, sad, original conclusion. Go watch it. I can't really explain what makes this movie great.

When all is said and done, I just didn't get the joke. I never laughed, even once, while watching this "comedy". Everything was just kind of weird and didn't make much sense. Nothing about it was funny; everything about it was boring and weird.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't love Dunkirk. It feels very slow and long, with long intervals with no dialogue. When people did speak, it was sometimes hard to understand what they were saying. The movie has long, anti-climatic dog fights that feel really boring. It has several long intervals where nothing happens. The music is really good, but often is more intense than the scene the music is playing in. All in all, not as good as people make it sound.

People complain that this movie isn't scary, and, frankly, I don't really disagree with them. Just because it isn't scary, it doesn't mean that it isn't entertaining or enjoyable. I really enjoyed this movie the whole way through. The plot is very original, and the things that happen are consistently entertaining. The "horror" isn't horrifying, but it is pretty darn fun to watch. The characters are really likable and well-acted. All in all, "Krampus" is a really fun, enjoyable movie.

WOW. This movie is really BAD. The rotten tomatoes score for this lifeless movie is really generous, and hard to understand. The script is really, really not good. Most of the movie's jokes fail really badly, and the plot is a bad repeat of the first Cars movie (which I really like). This is a comedy that is not funny, and the dramatic parts feel fake and artificial. I really disliked this movie.

There is no other movie just like Coraline today, and probably never will be. It is one of the creepiest movies I've ever seen, and one of the only movies that made me lose sleep. In fact, I stayed up all night the day I watched it. I was afraid of the things that change at night, I was afraid of the door to another world... Years later, I re-watched Coraline, and it was still very unsettling, creepy, and original. The animation, story, and world are pretty much flawless, fascinating, and extremely creepy. The music is also really good and adds to the creepiness of the movie very well. All in all, a truly original, amazing stop-motion film.

When I saw this movie's crazy-high rotten tomatoes score, I decided to watch it, and I'm glad I did. Paddington is surprisingly funny and enjoyable, and really good visually. I would say more, but I feel like the best way to know how good Paddington is, is to watch it yourself. It's a good movie.

The best thing about Wreck-it-Ralph is the world: an arcade. This movie takes place in a gamer's paradise, with the Bad-a-Non taking place in the middle of Pac-Man, Ryu getting a drink in the game Tapper, and Sonic telling the other video game characters what to do on a screen in video-game central. Being a gamer, I love this movie from the start. Being a fan of Owl City, I love it when the credits roll. I really like the characters and their voice actors. The voice actors bring the characters to life. The script for this movie isn't perfect, and not every joke works, but Wreck-It-Ralph is not like any movie you've ever seen. It is really something special, with real heart and an amazing world.

I think I should watch this movie again to be able to write a good review, but I'll try to say some stuff. The acting and visuals in this remake are really something. Brad Pitt's performance is strangely funny in an otherwise very dark movie, with his odd, out-of-place extremely-strong Louisiana accent. The main villain is very well preformed character, and is everything a really evil villain should be. The plot is good at times, but feels very long and slow at many times. My biggest problem with this movie is the good guys; the ****. They are so brutal and merciless I couldn't like them, or even side with them while watching the movie. Killing the bad guy don't necessarily make you the good guy. Because of this personal problem, I give this movie a 7 instead of an 8.

First off, visually, this movie is really great. Over and over again, it just looks amazing. The plot, however, is less impressive. It feels unoriginal, forgettable, and just not quite interesting enough to be called a really solid plot. The characters in this movie are colorful and interesting, but seem to lack real depth. The main villain is okay, but once again unoriginal and not really anything classic or really special. All in all, a movie that excels visually, but is fairly meh in every other way.

For me, Superman Returns is the definition **** superhero story. It is great to look at, with great action and a great plot, and really just unforgettable. This movie has so many scenes that I just want to watch again and again, my favorite being the destruction of Lex's model of Metropolis. The scene just feels... real. Much of this movie is very simple, but real and unforgettable somehow. I can't really explain why Superman Returns is so great. Just watch it, and then you might understand what I'm trying to say.

This is essentially animated Indiana Jones meets Pirates of the Caribbean, staring a lively drunken dude and a scrappy young, brilliant, adventurous detective. The plot doesn't feel very original, but it is still very entertaining, with great action, mystery, and twists. The animation is shockingly real and animated at the same time. The humor is really great and laugh-out loud funny at times. I have seen this movie quite a few times, and honestly wouldn't mind watching it a few more times.

If you can look past the gaping plot hole, "Signs" is an almost perfectly crafted sci-fi thriller with really great humor and seriousness. The profound, serious stuff is moving and meaningful, while the humor is really hilarious. Not many movies can mix profoundness with humor, but any that effectively can are almost always worth watching. Also, ALL of the characters are really convincing and very well acted. All in all, a really just plain great movie.

This movie was a quite alright movie until the last 5 minutes. Before the last 5 minutes, it was interesting, occasionally funny, and mostly well-acted. I didn't dislike the plot and was actually invested in the movie. The ending, however, was as shocking as it was hilarious and ridiculous. I couldn't possibly give a movie with THAT ending a good review.

I honestly CANNOT understand this movie's criminally low metascore. This movie is visually and musically stunning and utterly amazing. The plot is interesting and the main character's day-dreams keep the movie fresh. Of course, it is at times a little crazy and weird, but this is on purpose and it never hurts the movie for me. The movie is moving and funny, with some unforgettable lines and moments. Ben Stiller gives an amazing performance as the main character. I have seen this movie 4 times, and it is an amazing experience every time.

This is a pretty legit sci-fi action movie set as a prelude to A New Hope. The side characters are interesting - the blind guy, the robot, and the big guy with the gun. The main characters are less interesting, but don't hurt the movie too badly. The humor and action in this movie are great, and the plot is always moving and consistently interesting. What really makes this movie shine is how it really feels like a classic Star Wars movie - just watch the ending and try not to love it.

How could a movie taking place inside a small wooden box be entertaining? Put Ryan Reynolds in the box, and make the movie an intense thriller, somehow. This movie is way better than it has any right to be, and the ending is what really sets this movie in stone for me as a fantastic thriller. I stood up, screamed, and threw a pillow at the screen. It was that good.

This is one of my all-time favorite movies of all time. Jim Carey is amazing in this movie, and just kills it every minute he's on screen. The plot of this movie is extremely original and interesting, in-between The Twilight Zone and an American sit-com. There are many little interesting details in the created-fake world that you won't notice the first time you watch the movie. The second time you watch the movie, you will start to see these humorous little details and the movie will be even better. The ending is great. No other movie is like The Truman Show, and that makes it even better.

First things first, this movie is definitely overrated. The first two-thirds of this movie are extremely sluggish, with pretty much nothing happening when the camera is on Ray and Luke. After Ray boards Snoke's ship, the movie really picks up and becomes very interesting and entertaining. The other problem is a REALLY ANNOYING plot thing. When Rose and Finn are about to be executed, the ship blows up. All of the clones around them are either dead or knocked out, and Rose and Finn just get back up and say "I know where a working ship is!" That was really lucky that R and F are okay when everybody else is either knocked out or dead! Another problem is some of the humor was pretty cheap. The acting is pretty good in this movie, and it really built up Kilo Ren's character. He was very well acted in this movie and now one of the most interesting Star Wars characters to me. All in all, the final third of this movie is really great, but the first two-thirds drag for the most part.

This is a pretty heavy movie, and there is a lot of stuff to unpack. It deals with several different political issues in an offhanded way that works really well. Several lines from this movie stuck with me after leaving the theater. The acting is really good and most, but not all, of the comedy works pretty well. This movie was filmed perfectly. One scene had me in tears just because of the blaring music and brutality happening in the scene. Hate and forgiveness are the biggest themes of the movie, and the way forgiveness is portrayed on screen is really incredible. The characters are all interesting and very well acted. All in all, a really amazing movie that mixes depth and comedy very well with great acting.

Nacho Libre gets some hate from critics and viewers alike, but here's what I think about it... Nacho Libre is consistently entertaining the whole way through, and occasionally loud-out-loud hilarious. There were two moments I can remember where I laughed long and loud for some time after the punchline. I've seen this movie twice now and it was just as enjoyable, if not more enjoyable, the second time I watched it. The glue that holds this movie together is Jack Black. He was practically born for the role he plays in this movie, and is just a really enjoyable, entertaining character for the whole movie. The setting for this movie works really well and, along with the music, has some real charm. All in all, the movie isn't perfect, but is still a really fun, enjoyable movie.

All around, this is a pretty good movie. The animation looks great at times, and takes the viewer out of the experience other times. The humor works pretty well most of the time. Some of the elements feel unoriginal, and a few lines are pretty weak and cliche. The detective and Hogarth are really great characters, with the former being incredibly entertaining throughout. The ending of this movie is satisfying. All in all, it's a pretty good, but not flawless movie.
