One of my fav games ever on the Nintendo Switch. Love running around killing aliens like an overpowered superhero!

Interesting horror game for the switch with some great tense atmosphere which delves into issues of PTSD giving the game a bit of weight and somewhere to go other than ‘you’re lost’. The game has a couple of bugs like where I made it to the final level without the camera spawning so couldn’t continue until I restarted the level and I had the camera despite not finding it in the previous level but for the most part the game runs fine especially on the switch 2. Not sure how much replayability this has but I enjoyed the psychological thrill of it anyway.

10 hours in and its good but I just played Rogue and found the graphics haven't changed much in many years and wondered what the game would look like in a different engine as there are a few glitches and frame drops. This is like Red Dead Redemption X Hitman X Uncharted with a japanese flavour. It's good, it really is. The weather effects are good and the story is good, the characters are interesting enough. Definitely will come back to in the future. Edit: 30 hours in and the animations have definitely improved and I appreciate the enemy AI is much more realistic and that makes the game feel more immersive but this game is not one that I can finish in one go and think I'll come back to this in the future to finish coz I dont want to spend 80 hours on the same story/game and have already moved on to several other games to break things up.

As an action-platform-puzzle game fan who loves a genuinely engaging story, this caught me by surprise and gave me exactly what I was looking for: a relatively linear action/stealth game to make me feel like a soldier on a high stakes mission, some alien creatures to kill and a cinematic feeling story to tie it all together. It's all action and fun and none of the boring parts of most games these days that make you explore open worlds for secrets and fetch quests and run here, run there blah blah so it makes the game feel much more focused without any needing to grind for the sake of grinding. I was caught off guard mostly by how well the characters are written and feel nuanced and real. The game manages to build an interesting and builds tension well and I felt each each level had enough variety in its environment and design to keep things from feeling stale. One memorable moment I found was while walking through the theatre scene where a chorus of girls were dancing onstage as you follow another character to a meeting in the dressing room but I turned back around to see how much of the dance was animated and ended up watching a 20 minute vaudeville show with multiple acts that was actually really well done and I was pleasantly shocked they included it as it was totally unnecessary it would have been easy to have missed as it was just a scene you walked through but its inclusion added some much depth to the game and it's world building that after that I was 100% a fan but there are many other moments like this that made me slow down and listen to npc conversations throughout the game with a highlight being a little girl and her dad fishing while she declares she "doesn't want to catch cancer". Some NPC's even notice you listening into their conversation in a way that felt quite real and not forced like I've seen in other games before. This game looks pretty good on the switch 2 but best in docked mode as it can be a bit dark in some scenes. Music is great particularly enjoyed the music during the Venice portion of the game. Feels like a great find and will play again on a harder difficulty. Recommend for any Mario loving switch owner who wants a bit more of that shoot em up call of duty flavour without the overbearing realism of war.

Love the time capsule that this game exists in with its electro-punk-attitude that is a hard reminder of a very specific aesthetic from the mid 00’s and a game play that seems quaint by todays AAA games but this game is very fun, super varied and feels like putting on your fav tight denim jacket after a couple of years in the back of the closet. Highly recommend!

Played for the first time with no idea of what to expect other than it’s always raved about and I see why. I’m not a Batman fan but this was fun and all the characters especially the Joker are great fun. Lots of variety in the gameplay kept things exciting most of the way through.

It’s a fun mix of supernatural horror investigation which is really fun! A lot of traversal probably holds a it back a bit for me as you’re forced to run all over the city which got a a bit boring after 10 hours but the vibe is cool and I love the mechanic where you witness the past crime scenes
