I played almost every ninja/samurai release from team ninja since ninja gaiden, also Inplayed and really liked ghost of tsushima from **** punch which many people are trying to compare with the rise of ronin. For me this is the best release from team ninja so far. There are technical hickups like frame drops and other minor issues but the overall experience is amazing! I did not want to buy because of beeing tired from open world games and also reading about this game beeing an assassins creed clone but luckily I bought it to check this game by myself! The atmosphere is amazing, voice acting is very good, the world feels so positive and interesting to explore. It feels like a new way of the samurai mixed with some tenchu and nioh. I loved nioh but it was so much stress to play some areas without checking builds or how to level up the right stats. Rise of ronin let's you play like you've played every team ninja game BUT it let's you play like this game like an action-rpg. You can skip some of the souls like hardcore aspects and play it relaxed and more forgiving. Also there are amazing co.fort functions real quality of life most games are missing! You can auto pickup items and lootables like wood or flowers without hammering your buttons just by walking near them. You can transmog/ change the look of every outfit like head, hands etc for free. Fashion souls deluxe! You don't have to pay for transmigration like in nioh. There is an auto-ride function to mark a spot on your map and the horse will ride to the spot. Arriving at your destination, you will hear some bells ringing. The while game gives you choices to skip annoying game interactions that we were forced to use for almost 10 years and just enjoy the game. This game fills my tenchu missing and loving heart with love. The stealth makes fun, the fights are great, the world is beautiful, there is a lot of story, the characters are well done and you will really find your favourite companion. This is game is better than I could imagine and I'm happy that I decided to buy it - for me and my time, spending with a good game that respects my time and for team ninja who made a big step in the right direction to offer great fascinating games and let you choose how hard how complex and how challenging you want YOUR game! The focus on more characters, story and cinematic is awesome! I just can recommend this game!
