This is one of those rare game dev miracles. Feels almost impossible that such a small team would create something of this scale and quality as their debut project. It punches so far and consistently above it's weight in every single conceivable aspect. Great, innovative gameplay that modernizes JRPG combat. Endearing and relatable characters that feel like real people, whom I'd go to the ends of the earth with. A soundtrack for the ages. I haven't heard anything of this magnitude since Nier. An intriguing story with so much mystery and wonder, that gives you just the right amount of clues to keep you hooked and will make for some eye-opening revelations on your second playthrough, when you can actually understand everything that is going on. Sandfall, I will be watching your careers with great interest. You guys better prepare some acceptance speeches for award season, you're gonna need them.
