I really wanted to like this game because it basically looked like a Zelda-like with a Hoverboard and for me that sounded awesome. And cruising around with your hoverboard and finding the highest slopes to jump from and doing tricks is really fun. You can also customize your board by adding modules which also improve various stats of it and there are abilities for your character too. But sadly besides the hover-boarding it feels very clunky and unpolished. Walking around is really weird because it is a lower gravity environment and everything feels a little off. Jumping and landing precisely afterwards is also weird because of that effect. And I wouldn't mind it if it was for gameplay reasons but it feels unintentional and cheap. The combat is really slow and tedious and lacks real impact on the enemies when you hit them and the controls in general feel very laggy and not precise. The sound design is awful in my opinion - a mix of no sounds at all (or very, very quiet ambient noises) and then all of a sudden some Zelda like jingle plays because you did something. The main character lacks any personality and is mute, but not "Link mute" where there is still some personality to be found in grunts or other sounds when getting hit or something but absolutely mute like no sounds or emotions at all. I don't know if that's intentional but it's really weird for me. Sadly the map also lacks personality - it is quite big and pleasant to look at but there isn't much to do besides hovering around. The game didn't really encourage me to explore. I did also run into performance issues, especially when driving fast on the hoverboard. And I ran in other random bugs but no serious thing. It's not a bad game, it's a very cool and creative approach but it lacks a lot of polish in my opinion. If you generally like this kind of games, you'd probably still enjoy it but sadly it didn't click for me.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom8

Good Zelda game overall. It won't become my favorite but it's still a cool experience with an interesting story. The new mechanic with spawning things is interesting and invites to experiment with the puzzles but the combat indeed does get boring and annoying after a while. The AI of your monsters is pretty dumb and they'll probably do sh** you didn't want them to do. And sometimes it's REALLY annoying that Zelda herself is basically defenseless. I tended to avoid fighting in the later half of the game because there is just no point in fighting if you already have the echo of the enemy you're supposed to fight.
There are also framerate issues but they really didn't bother me too much because it's not like it's lagging but you'll notice some minor drops here and there. The menu is also a little bit cluttered but still ok with room to improve. Despite all this I still had a great time with this game and would recommend it. I also don't get how people rate it with 0 stars because you play a GIRL - "OMG so bad, they're pushing an agenda" or people complaining that it doesn't look like the AAA titles from Sony or Microsoft when this game is literally running on hardware comparable to an android phone from 2017. Also Nintendo never implied that this game would be like a AAA and for me it's clear that this is just a appetizer for the upcoming big new Zelda game.

Avatar: The Last Airbender - Quest for Balance0

I played through the first couple of hours because I'm a big fan of the series but just couldn't go on torturing myself. This game is yet another try to milk the avatar franchise. If it came out in 2008, I'd say that it's a good game, but measured in today's standards, this honestly feels like a ripoff. It barely holds together- in the first minutes, you're already welcomed with framedrops, PS2 like graphics and animations from hell. Though, I liked the comic-like cutscenes. There is a noticeable input delay (in a singleplayer game?!), repetitive sh**ty minigames in different skins and the game overall feels very clunky. Most of the game is just a chore because of the input-delay. Fighting isn't really fun, neither is platforming. Coop is also not possible because for whatever reason every other than the first controller will disconnect immediately when i start the game and this error is repetitive. Just do yourself a favor and don't buy this game.
