A complete misfire. Some of the worst editing you will see; empty, lifeless cinematography and filmmaking, bad performances, Jafaar Jackson being the only decent one. The direction is completely soulless and forgettable, the film entirely.feeling drab and devoid of any vibrancy or interesting value. Says nothing and does nothing, with only one decent scene for the entire film, and that is at the very end.

This was such a disappointment. Edgar Wright plus Glen Powell on a Stephen King adaptation should have been an easy **** instead, it was a corporate-feeling, often soulless mess completely carried by Glen and his leading charisma. Not even the filmmaking particularly had any identity to it.

**** potential to be goofy, campy **** it is in many moments. However, the generative AI shots, which are obvious at many times during the film, are rather painful to look at. The performances are not amazing, but not terrible either, and the film almost reaches an infectious energy. At its best whenever RuPaul is on screen, and more of that was desperately needed to save a rather generic, messy comedy that stooped to the level of constant AI usage. A shame, but not a total failure.

A meditative, introspective look at a darker twist of a fable that doesn't always land its ideas perfectly or delve enough into its ideas, yet benefits from great yisual craft as well as one of the performing highlights of Hugh Jackman's career. Accompanied by strong, interesting direction from Sarnoski, the film's silky, slow pace is marred only by a strangely breezy third act. A great watch, though, engaging throughout and works swell as a mood piece
