This very loosely an rpg, it's more of an fps action/rpg. The game itself has very few flaw, but most glaring one are your so called team mates which you have to keep a close eye on and near you, because your Shepard is the main target for enemies. The other glaring flaw is your view point which is behind and slightly to the right of your character, and while it works for games like swtor or skyrim it does not in fps. Skyrim has the best pov in a game since you can choose your pov. It would been better if this was a true fps.

The storyline was epic, well until you had to make the choice, then it became an dramatically epic failure unless you had HEMEM dlc, no it wasn't that they made it an epic failure it was your team mates being utter morons like those who wrote the so called AI for them, good thing the experts aren't leading our soldiers in real life, bileware you might want to hire real experts in modern combat techniques to write the programming or send the one's they have now to train ISIS fighters then at least they would be useful, since that way ISIS wouldn't be able to hit the broadside of the planet

Would have given it a 10 except, there are a few flaws. 1) Doesn't matter which setting you have it on the scales still the same. 2) The programmers did love their mountains as a playtime extender, so instead of adding material to the game instead put mountains so you have to search for the best route. 3) Added senseless romance, which Bioware has been known to do. 4) Add exaggerated amounts of xp just to get us to feel good, level 20 was more appropriate on 1st run through. 4) Maybe, never did answer the question about the Reapers who are they or why do they feel compelled to destroy galactic civilization.

The fact that no critic reviews were done, should be enough, to tell that even they wouldn't put the game opn their computer to test it. Sewage in sewage out.

Played it, when it was published by Aeria. Not great but not bad either just think generic shooter. But very repetitious when it comes to missions, the fun part is customizing weapons and gear.

Game is NOT for experienced gamers, no autopath and characters that are a tad small so finding either enemies or npc's on anything higher than 800x600 will be a little bit harder from a distance. Think WOW and Rift and you have Echo of Soul. Class are gendered and limited classes and subclasses.

PC keyboard setup is poorly designed, and the fact that you actually have to fly the ship to your destination, is both laughable and tragic, game's as good as the first one so far. But would be nice when porting a game to remember KISS keep it simple stupid when setting up the functions on a keyboard.

Would give it an 8 or 9, except like most games that are ported, the graphics take a hit for the worse, no matter your setup. And never use a keyboard to play them. Lets be honest console games just don't port well, unless they had a huge makeover.

It is very loosely an rpg, unless you happen to read a walk through that has character development, you're up **** creek without a paddle on a river starving piranha, the lack of ammo almost makes you have to create either a melee or psi fighter.

Great storyline, ill conceived control setup. Which makes all the good things about the game suffer. Very few games are ported with success. Best to start from scratch even if it takes more time and effort to do it.

They turned a game while a little buggy, into a big piece of camel crap, other than dorn the rest of the new characters at least in BG are useless, noticed area spells cast by the enemy like web they are virtually immune from, apparently hold is not an offensive spell so setting a cleric to cast them is useless which means you have to micro-manage your group at a all time high. Though not their fault but one that was not corrected is the lack of spells available until you get to baldur's gate.

Game would be great, except in reality whether intended to or not they almost force you to play certain, forget about playing classes, like mage, bard, druid, even kensai, the lack of bard armor and the cost of mage armor makes it impossible, instead of fixing those flaws like BW did in BG2, they made a few changes and left it as is. Dialogue still ****, Jaheria's husband is still useless tool and the new characters are only good for cannon fodder, a monk with useless stats for a monk a wild mage is useless as a companion or kit.

Simple the game mechanics are the worst ever, spells that can go through walls or do a 90 degree turn, dual classing from either thief or to thief has back stab severely broken and no patch to fix all the bugs by overhaul, best to by the game from black isle, it's cheaper and works right with limited patching, gave the original 90/100 give this piece of garbage 1/100

So it's absolutely necessary to have 2 healers in this game when play on higher that normal setting, they did away with each character carrying heal potions for whatever reason, probably when they were high, they chose to have them as a party item, which of course if you have 2 or more characters needing healing, tough **** you'll just have to reload, then they got rid of Isabella's dueling skills and replaced with worse tree. Then you have Anders story line, it's a no-win situation, you kill him banish or side with a mass murderer. Killing him is a mercy, as a mage he's about average, merril's is even worse, you either pat the naïve pyscho or head or you think how quaint and naïve she was.

Loved the story and the game, until the final battle in Denerim, then it goes to hell in a hand basket. Nothing seems to work, spells are drastically weaker even melee seems to be broken and that's on easy. They made 2 patches for it but never fixed the final battle for the city, gave up on it since they put all their effort to DA2 which very few people liked.

Gave it a 5 for 3 reason. 1 the lack of classes, 2) you can play as assassin or arcane warrior in multi but not in single player, 3) the game was built mainly as multiplayer with single game as a bone with not much meat on it and single player game is highly unbalanced against the player, right off the bat you a uber pride demon to fight with your level 2 team.

The class choice is great, as is the ability of getting a second class at level 40. The con is a lot of repetition when it comes to quests, since many of them require a team. As well a general lack of them, not much fun doing a level 20 over and over when you're at level 30 or 40. The fact that no critic has reviewed it should say something about the game.

Play this game if you agitation in your life, for the most part your companions are only good to get them and you killed, because after almost 4 years your companion has a tendency to do a disappearing act which leaves you unable to heal them and there is no indication that this serious bug is going to be fixed, and forget about teaming up with only 35-40 players on a planet, you unlikely to get help which also means you are unlikely to be invited to join a guild. In short they seem to be adding content to a dying game instead of fixing the glitches and bugs to save it

Story wise it is great, graphic wise a failure you basically have to constantly adjust you brightness and gamma for outdoors then when you do underground scenes, 2 yrs out and you would think they would have fixed it. Will tell you that the game is almost impossible to solo using melee, magic and shooter is somewhat easier but still labor intensive. The system requirements are higher than they say.

As games go this is one that should be used as a great idea turned into a dismal failure. Instead of fixing the bugs and glitches which are numerous they decided to add more content, and forget about writing them a stern note on the bugs you have, they appear to be deaf as well as incompetent.
