- Murder in cafe alps and Ayaka's substory ISNT IN THE GAME - Most of the ORIGINAL Ost has been removed And some of the new mixes are mediocre - 31 substories instead of 100+ - Most substories are re-written - Map size is smaller than OG also with the removal of west park - Ending changed with **** retcon - Golf course removed -Rehashed mini games from previous entry - Marketed Dark Ties as a full game despite it being 4 hours at most - Change three characters from the original, including a sexual offender they promote - The lighting is still awful (ONE modder has managed to make the game much more beautiful and faithful to the original even before its official release) - Delist Yakuza 3 from all stores and lock it away in a $130 bundle - The story has been so destroyed by retcons that Yokoyama will stop the Kiwami and reboot the series - The revelations and Mack have disappeared- Komaki has been replaced by an NPC that no one cares about - They removed evening time (sunset time) for Kamurocho - Combat is worse than OG with less depth and flow with more clunkiness (It basically turned into a trash button mashing simulator to sooth the trash yakuza gamers needs) I wouldn’t be surprised if future RGG games get worser than this. It was a half assed slop remake made for greed and still has a decent amount of bugs within it. I hope the reboot plans get cancelled and if possible they could at-least change those story changes back to normal but it’s most likely they won’t due to RGG’s unbearable laziness. Buy the OG Yakuza 3 via GOG for PC, or if you’re on console just buy the physical remastered collection from various marketplaces that comes with 3,4, AND 5 and is CHEAPER than this trash disgraceful remake.

The Best Yakuza game to date, everyone that says its lower than a 9 is wrong. RGG Studio put so much hard work into these games in a short span of time and cook hard. This one deserves it all and is my GOTY. Plus it deserves more recognition, or it might just be better off as an underrated hidden gem. It does deserve more popularity tho but it’s whatever. Infinite Wealth on top!! GOTY 2024!!

Awesome and amazing game, deserves at least a 90 or 91 to show its a must play.
