This is one of my favorite baseball games of all time. I refuse to play any later games in the series because the changes made to key formulas really messed up with player development timelines. I am not very good at it, though. They have really upped the difficulty level/AI intelligence from 2005-06 or so, when I would win almost every World Series on the hardest mode. My favorite thing to do is create custom players and put them in the Amateur Draft, checking on their progress over the years. I recommend this one over 2016-21.

It's good, yet frustrating. The other players are so much better than I am and the game can be toxic because of how much I ****. There are also some REALLY young children on voice chat, and I don't think the game is age appropriate. The heroes are varied and fun to play and overall I recommend it.

Planet Coaster tries to recapture the magic of Rollercoaster Tycoon and mostly succeeds. My favorite is the challenge mode, which is more like the original RCT games than the scenario mode. I prefer RCT1 to its sequels, so YMMV. The game is a bit difficult, and I find myself sticking with the "medium" challenge setting. I know some people probably go with hard/very hard but that is not how I play. You will require a lot of research and it is all your own doing. You can't just set a budget and have the game research projects on its own schedule like in RCT. You specifically pay for every research you do, manually complete it, and then select another if you so choose. You have several loan options to choose from, with more/better loans coming at lower difficulties. Once you get into the swing of things it's not too hard to make a profit. There are a few areas for improvement. While coaster designing is more detailed than in RCT, it is not always intuitive. I do appreciate the new testing which shows you detailed ratings of g-forces and excitement/fear/nausea at every point in your rides. Overall I would not recommend the scenarios or the sandbox compared to challenge mode.

Not sure if this is the same game but this is a broken MMO from "Arc" that has a "Register" button that leads to a 500 error. I clicked "Validate Files" on this app and it's been stuck doing that for four hours. Luckily it's F2P.

This game is pretty clunky and doesn't really have anything compelling to keep me coming back. it looks like it's a bargarian bin game from 1997 and I've had no multiplayer interaction in my first 30 minutes of playing. The entire tutorial was about five minutes. I thought it would get interesting when an attack came but it was just three units that all died from arrows automatically shot by my castle. The concept seems interesting and it's nice to have real cities and a real-world map in this medieval setting, but I just don't really get the appeal so far. I am not ready to give up on it entirely, but I can't really see myself pressing on with this unless I find a solid group of people that actively play, which is the main element that attracts me to MMOs.

I usually enjoy games like this, sports-RPG hybrids, but I can't really recommend New Star Soccer 5. The controls are confusing and the graphics are poor and the top-down view does not work too well for a soccer game. After my first game, the boss told me to tackle more, but with the control scheme, it seems impossible. Every time I try to press Z for tackle, my guy "calls" for the ball... something that he's only supposed to do if my teammate has the ball. Why is he calling for a ball when the opponent has possession? This game is rather disappointing. Score Hero on the Android is easier to use.

Overall, this is a very fun game and if you enjoyed Civilization in the past, you will still like it now. However, there are some issues that keep it from being an amazing game. The biggest problem is the movement. Numpad movement is gone and you are forced to use the mouse and there are no settings to fix this. I hope they are able to bring it back in the future. Another issue I have is the UI. It is too clean and sterile and looks like a work application more than a game, especially the various menus you go through when starting a new game. But despite these qualms I really do enjoy the game and will continue to play it. It is a bit harder than Civ 5 so far, or perhaps I am just not used to the new mechanics and need to relearn the basics. If you like Civ games, you'll still enjoy this, but if you are new to the franchise, you might want to try an older one to make sure you enjoy this style of gameplay.

This is a great game. For an RPG, it is a bit short. Beating the game while doing some (but not all) of the sidequests presented to you will take about ten hours. Finishing up all the sidequests will probably be just 12-14 hours. But it is a very fun game and even after beating it, I want to play again with a different class. There are four class options: Fighter, Thief, Mage, and Jew. The Jew class that I chose tends to benefit from being at low health. Their abilities grow much stronger as they get lower and lower in hit points. The other characters you get to bring with you are very fun as well. Butters, Stan, Kyle, Princess Kenny (or Kyeennny if you incorrectly talk like Cartman), Cartman, and Jimmy can be on your team (just one of them at a time) to help you. There are certain points in the game where you must choose a certain buddy to perform a command to get past obstacles. The game's flaws are few, but they are common flaws for PC versions of console games. The controls are poor at times. Some points in the game would have normally used an analog stick for your controller, but you are forced to use the A and D keys in a poor attempt at emulating the analog controller. Thus, some points in the game can be a bit frustrating as a PC user. Another issue is that, during cutscenes, if you have ALT-TABBED during your most recent session of this game, your character will blink in and out from the scene. You have to close the game and open it again to fix this. But despite those PC-only bugs, it is still a very enjoyable game. It is more fun if you enjoy South Park as a show, but even if you're not the biggest fan, the game is still good on its own. It's not a typical licensed product, which usually consists of a ripoff of a better game with sounds from the TV show (Simpsons Hit n run).

A very nice game. At first, the challenge will seem daunting. Instead of having a yearly budget... you have one every month. You have to balance taxes, "business deals", and neighbor deals against city services and loan repayments. The starting cash on Easy will seem endless at first... but it won't be. $500,000 goes a pretty long way, but you still need to make sure you can balance your budget for long term solvency. Starting a game on Medium grants you $200,000 and Hard will give you just $100,000. That is a lot more than any prior Sim City version gave, but with the monthly budgeting, it's needed. Overall the game is amazing and probably the best Sim City ever, though 3000 comes close. A couple of minor things that bother me... 1) No years for technology being invented. Building Nuclear power plants requires you to have a certain level of energy demand within the city and I believe 85,000 population or so. Instead of starting in 1900... you start in a generic Year 0, and new power plants come when you meet requirements within the city, not in a certain year. 2) Lots of flaws and poor design of traffic simulator make getting NAM (Network Addon) an excellent choice. 3) To play this game properly on a dual or quad core system, you must go into Task Manager and Set Affinity to only one of your processors. Otherwise, the game will frequently crash. But still, a great game. You can get it in a "5 game box" along with SimCity Societies and it's expansion and SnapCity. SimCity 4 alone is the only one you want from that box.

Before SimCity came out, I was hyped for it. The idea of working with friends (and even strangers) to build a region was something I've wanted to do for a long time. I knew going in that the game would not be quite as detailed as SimCity 4. But at launch, and even a few months later, hardly any of the "online play" features have come to pass. You have to sign in to Origin to play, yet the region rankings and other leaderboards hardly seem to work at all. Disappointing. The game itself isn't terrible. The missions are enjoyable and the game maintains its sense of humor and excellent music that have been with the series for its entirety. But overall, it's just not what I was hoping for, and I still play SimCity 4 more than I play this.

Really enjoyable game, though not without its flaws. The game is sort of a hybrid of sports and RPG. You start by setting up your "RPG" attributes and your initial skills. Later on, you will set up a weekly workout for your player that allows you to have skill increases in Contact, Power, and Gap Power. A lot of bonuses will come from buying special bats, batting gloves, gloves, and cleats that give you bonuses when they are equipped. They can be purchased from the "Sport Center" or bought online on "Bbay". The main bug I found in the game is when your player retires... when you start a new career in the same league in whatever year you retired... there is automatically an MLB Amateur draft set on that day, meaning for that season there are two drafts. But overall, this is fun.

I'm really enjoying it so far. I wonder if all the negative reviews have played it at all. I don't mind the graphics being a little lower-quality than the nicest-looking games out there. The graphics are still nice if you have them on the highest settings, and it's easier to play this game on an older machine because it does not have insane minimum requirements. Another solid game .Battle pets are fun, guild experience comes more easily.

This game wasn't terrible, but the controls were poorly ported from the Xbox to the PC in an attempt to get this game out. You had to read the instructions or the help files in game to figure out what keys corresponded to various buttons in various situations. The announcers were quite buggy as well. They had very canned conversations and would repeat themselves twice. He'd say. "He flew out last time up. Last time up, he flew out." I don't think that is what they intended. Create a Player was fun, but I felt like it became too easy and the Hall of Fame options were very limited. You also only had one standard player... you always started with a 50 score or so in every category (maybe 40 in stealing) Yet I saw other minor leaguers flailing away with power scores below 50 or even 40. So why couldn't I do that? It was still fun. The best part is the dynamic rating system. The game is always tracking your performance and will have a little detail like "6 RBIs in the last week" or "no HR in 3 weeks" etc.

This game is excellent, and it would be nearly as good as a single-player game than it is as an MMO. The single-player content is more developed, the stories are richer, and the characters seem to have more personality with excellent voice-acting. Yet that is also a bit of a problem, as multiplayer content sometimes seems like an afterthought, with pointless "social points" tacked on to reward players for doing soloable content in groups. For social points, you seem to get them for picking the same answers in conversations with NPCs as you turn in a quest. This seems to be interesting, and I suspect that the timing of your clicking on one of the 3 options provided to your characters also influences the number of social points awarded. The Jedi and Sith have four "different" class types each, but the catch is that the Jedi and Sith roles seem very similar. The Sith Inquisitor shooting streams of lightning at a monster is just like a Jedi Consular striking them with debris... both are damage over time spells that don't allow the player to cast other things without losing concentration. Each class has two sub-classes, and then those subclasses have 3 trees of their own where they can choose talents that interest them. One of my favorite things about SWTOR is that the classes are more unique than in other games, and really can't be compared to WoW, Everquest, and don't seem to be influenced by Tolkien and D&D like most MMOs, at least not as blatantly. I haven't done any end-game content as I am level 24 as I write this interview, but so far this game looks promising. It probably won't be the WoW killer, but I think it can appeal to enough people to compete with WoW and not fade into "free to play" status.
