Its perfect. Levels are now visually distinct. Vertical and horizontal draw distance increased so much making it feel more open world. Graphics are stunning. Character design just work. Cutscenes flesh out the universe and make sense of the path branching. Music is unbelievable. Multiplayer is top tier and has potential to become a staple if nintendo supports it.

So much polish, so much customization. A fantastic party game (more so than a racer) that complements Mario Kart World for local and online multiplayer. There is also a story mode along with 750 checklist objectives so there is a ton of single player content as well.

Donkey Kong Bananza10

The first half of the game introduces a new concept for Donkey Kong and gaming in general. Second half of the game fully utilizes the concept after becoming familiar with it and its amazing in its entirety. For that reason, you don't truly experience the game until the second half. Unfortunately, its necessary evil of trying something so new. I expect Donkey Kong Bananza 2 to be absolute perfection since next time around the introductory portion can be skipped and you can jump into the new concept from the start with the kinks worked out. For that reason I give it a 10/10 for being just about as good as it can be for a very innovative game concept. Next time around it will need to be better to get another 10.

Amazing. Mario Kart at its finest. The world feels fresh and nicely done. Landscapes are amazing to look at it. Rail grinding and wall riding makes prior games feel incomplete. Best tracks Mario Kart has seen. The intermissions have gotten a lot of hate but they offer a nice change of pace and they are more interesting than some people have let on. The meta for tracks is also way ahead of the meta for intermissions due to tracks being played more and there being far more intermissions. I believe intermissions will become more enjoyable at the competitive level as the full meta takes its form.
