I feel that the vast majority of peoples reviews are highly impacted by the fact that this is just a new mario party. It is a SIGNIFICANT downgrade from Super Mario Party 8. The buddy system is broken. What's the point of having a 10-round mini game to decide who gets the buddy if a player can steal the buddy immediately by simply passing you. They removed team play, customized dice blocks, and the mini games are simplified and unimaginative compared to how Nintendo showcased the switch with Super Mario Party 8. You will be sorely disappointed if you buy this game.
