i just finished playing the game and it really deserves all the hype and praise. the story was great so was the gameplay and i really liked the mechanics and some really cool details, it was almost a perfect experience. the only thing holding it down for me is just that i didn't find it as fun as some other games i enjoyed, like it misses that spark of fun i found in those other games where i can't wait to get home just to hop on them, also another thing that i didn't like was that one scene in the dlc, i just think it was unnecessary and encourages for mental illness if you know what i mean. but overall the game was great.
so i am writing this review after i couldn't recover my save game file because i was done resetting my pc and forgot about the file, i was already a bit further in the game so i don't know if i will ever play it again because that's my habit, maybe i will. when i first found out about this game i already fell in love with what it comes with, a pixel art game in a futuristic cyberpunk world, that's the magic recipe for me. from what i've already played, i really liked the mix of those two and how well done the game was in terms of world building and visuals, the game play was cool and the fighting system was also good and almost addictive. but, my only problem with this game was the story telling and events in general. maybe that was the reason for the low rating, maybe i was just playing the game in a time where i lost that passion for video games. i have to play it again so i can get a full experience because i really liked the idea and the concept of the game.
so i am reviewing the game while i haven't finished it yet, because my gamepass pc subscription ended and my save game file was lost after i did reset my pc and the cloud saving didn't work. from what i've seen and what i played, nine sols seemed to have a great potential, the visuals and art style were great and the gameplay was kind of fun, i liked the UI design and also the way the story was going, and the characters. but, i didn't find that specific "spark" that i do find sometimes in video games that end up in my favorites, i don't know if it's just my relationship with metroidvania and 2d games, or the game just came in a time where i lost that passion for video games. overall i liked the game and maybe i would've liked it more if i continued playing till completing it but that was my review for the amount of time i've already played.
I was introduced to this game from pc game pass, because i wanted to play every game that is available on it and 1000xRESIST was the first one on the list. the game is very good, the story is so deep and really creative with a good art style and many different characters. i enjoyed playing it, but the only things holding it down for me were the way the story was written and its pacing, sometimes you don't really know what's happening or why did the characters do somethings (like the purpose), and other times you feel like you're just following instructions and just doing what the game wants you to do without knowing why, and sometimes the dialogue doesn't really help much in understanding that scene or part of the story. overall a very good game and really recommend giving it a go.
Years ago, i encountered this game in a youtube video if i remember right, it looked cool i wanted to play it so bad, but at that time i didn't have a good console or a pc to do so. after some time i got a decent pc and remembered how bad i wanted to play high on life, so i decided to download it and try it out for the first time. i didn't finish the game but i played about 8 to 9 hours, was only like 2 bounties before finishing the game, and that was only because of how bad and disappointing the game was. the visuals are good and the humor is the only "not bad" thing in this ****. i had high expectations for it but i wish i never did, the story is trash and the gameplay isn't really the one that at least saves the game from its bad story. i don't know if that's because i played some great games just days before i played high on life, or its just the game that's bad.
until then is literally one of the best games i have ever played in my life, not just indie games but along with AAA games and all of that. the game gets you hooked up from the start until the end, with a perfect storytelling, art style, characters, plot, literally in any possible aspect. when i play this game i really loose any feeling with the real life, i even loose count of the time i spend playing until i find my self playing for hours and hours. i am completely out of words to describe this masterpiece, and when i say that i really mean it, because it really is something the developers should be proud of. i wonder how many games are there for me to experience until i find something even at least 50% of the greatness that i found in until then, and that's not even glaze but facts. also, i don't really feel anything while playing or watching a piece of fiction (video game, tv shows, ****, i don't cry or feel emotions at all, but this is literally the only piece of fiction that almost made me tear up, literally. finally, even a book won't be enough to describe this game, and this the longest review i've wrote in my life.
In my decent journey playing video games, i wasn't really familiar with turn based games until i played expedition 33, i even think i have never played one before. i was really shocked of how much hype and praise the game received, so i was really expecting a generational experience and wanted so bad to find out what's all this about. the game is one of the best i have ever played, top 15 for sure. i liked the gameplay, the story, and the soundtracks are just sensational. if you have any doubts, just play the game.
i started playing silksong in the same week of it's release, just a short time after i finished the first game. i really liked the atmosphere, the animations, the gameplay and it really felt like a big improvement from the prequel. the only thing that lowered the score for me, was the unnecessary difficulty of some bosses in the game, even normal foes. also, the game felt a bit stretched out, and some mechanics that were in it. but still, the game was at the expectations and delivered a great experience.
hollow knight was my first metroidvania, i wasn't really familiar with this genre and had low expectations for it, but since i started playing it i couldn't forgive my self for being that late to do so. really liked the atmosphere, the story and everything the game had to offer.
Blue prince is the first game i play in it's genre, but really didn't let down. i started playing with no expectations being unfamiliar with that kind of game, but suddenly i found my self dedicated and loving it, highly recommend for sure.
Despelote is a good game, i enjoyed experiencing the life of julian growing up. the story is cool and the gameplay is simple, and i really liked the art style. the only thing holding it up for me is that it's too short and was a bit expensive for it's actual value, more like a 5$ game at most, and felt repetitive most of the time. but looking back it's still a once in life experience, not generational or great, but still.. i recommend trying it.
I played the game soon as i finished spider-man remastered, and man i really enjoyed both.i gave the first game a 9 because its short, and even if this one is shorter but i could've gave it a 10 if it was a bit long. the gameplay is cool and the comabt style is better, great game.
If you liked the first game you'll definitely love this one too. the gameplay is cool, also the graphics and visuals are stunning, and the story is well written. the only thing that holds it back is that the game felt a bit slow at the start and boring at times, also some unnecessary cutscenes. the game starts to pick up the pace about chapter 10 and 11, and really feel like what it's supposed to be. great game overall and a must play.
sanabi is literally one of the best platformers i have ever played. i really can't find anything bad in the game so i that's why i gave it a 10. the gameplay and mechanics are just incredible, and what made the game a 10 is the story with it's plot twists. a must-play masterpiece.
what remains of edith finch is a good game to add to your playlist, a great story to explore and live. the game is cool but felt slightly short and more like an interactive movie than a game, but still playable and fun to try.
i just finished the game and honestly can't think of any words to describe it. in all my reviews about games, i always mention that feeling any great game leaves in me, the feeling of "what's next" and that there's nothing that comes close, dispatch gave me that. everything in the game felt perfect, from the story to the character's, the humor and everything about it. also, dispatch is definitely one of the most slept on games for this year in terms of conversations about the goty awards. to finish, this game is absolutely perfect and i hope that the studio blesses us with a second season.
pentiment is that kind of game that keeps you entertained and enjoyed from the start of the game until you finish it, and one of the least games that gives me that feeling of the need to play it and finish it even when im not playing or even when i just get a break from gaming. i didn't realy expect much from pentiment, maybe because of the artstyle or because i didn't hear much about it, but that was until i started playing and i literally fell in love with the game, the story and the world building is amazing and the charcter development is perfect, not forgetting about the plot twists and the unbelievable ending. overall, the game is a real masterpiece and i can't really find anything wrong about it.
i got the game on one of the sales where it was free, since like a year or smth and didn't have the chance to play it, so i decided to download it 2 days ago and started playing it .my overall experience was mixed, i liked the vibes of the world and the lore, also the gameplay was cool, but i felt like the game was a bit unfinished with some bugs, weak optimization and some weird things like skips that i don't think are supposed to be there but they were i found my self on the other side just going thru something. lastly, the game is good and i gave it that 7 because i felt like the game had potential to be great but it was slightly disappointing.
i bought the game in summer sales along with the prequel for about 4$, i played thefirst game and liked it alot and gave it a 9/10. after that, i started playing the sequel and i felt some things changed, like the level design, characters and some gameplay features but this didn't affect the experience at all. in general, the series is peak and its one of the best series for me. didn't reach my expectations but its still great.
I was seeing so many comments and posts praising this game, and when i saw photos and fanarts i really liked the vibes. i bought it on the summer sales for about 2$, and when i started playing i was in love with the gameplay and the game in general. also, when i play a game i know it's peak when i feel the need of hopping on again and just play it even after seconds of quitting for a break.
I really liked this game alot. when it first came out in 2018 i wished that i could play it especially when i saw people playing while i didn't have a ps4 at that time, but now that i have a pc and the game got a port im finally able to play. really enjoyed the gameplay, story and the graphics is just dope. the only reason i gave a 9 is that its slightly short. overall great game and highly recommend.
i played the game while i heard bad things about it like it "didn't reach expectations". but, the game was a work of art, like the first game i really enjoyed playing them. mile 0 really stayed on the same path as the first game with absolutly new ways of gameplay and new ideas, even its a bit short tho but found my self in that feeling of completing a great game and not knowing whats next after it.
digixart really did a great job.
i liked this game and enjoyed playing it, the only reason i gave it an 8 is because of some small details that made the experience slightly.. you know, not "perfect". overall a good game.
even though the game is short and has a simple gameplay and graphics, i really got into it and felt like im part of the story. emotions, plot, characters, development, everything is great. the studio made a masterpiece.
best battelfield game and one of the best firstperson shooters ever. a nice story with a great gameplay. really had good memories playing it that i can consider one of the best ive ever played.
sekiro is one of the best soulslike games if you consider it as a souls game, with its world building and bright gameplay, but the best thing in this game is its combat style which might be the best in gaming ever. the only reason i gave it a 9 anrd not a 10 is that i felt like some of the bosses were repeated, but that doesn't change the fact that its a great game.
dark souls 3 is a great game that ended a great trilogy, very nice world building and level design with a nice gameplay. the only reason i didn't give it a 10 is that i felt like its a bit short, but overall a masterpiece.
despite the hate on this game, dark souls 2 is a very nice game wih its magnificent world and atmosphere, and the new ideas added compared to the first sequel, even if i dont see it as replayable sooner but overall a great game.
dark souls is a great game that started an era of souls genre after demon's souls, with its atmosphere and world, to the bossfights and gameplay. a true masterpiece.
lies of p is one of the best non fromsoft souls games if its not. a great game with the atmospher and story that makes you linked to its world. very nice game and a must play.
i consider ac2 the best in the series, and one of the best games i have ever played. a great game with its unreal parkour style and gameplay, not forgetting the story that carried. absolute masterpiece.
this kind of games is what i call a "hidden gem", a great game with its epic art style, and the idea is just something that no one ever tried to think of. great game.
elden ring is just not a human made, fromsoft did what no one can do . the game is perfect with its endless world, combat style, bossfights, themes, graphics, literally everything. one of the best games i've ever played.
the come-back that cyberpunk 2077 done must be studied, from a hated game with one of the worst games releases, to an absolute perfection and one of the best rpgs in gaming. a masterpiece that cdpr knew how to turn it 180°.
great game and one of the best story driven games i've played. a story that makes you linked to its world, and make you think twice before making any choices because you know its going to affect the way the story goes. truly a masterpiece.
