Halo: The Master Chief Collection10
Nov 11, 2014
Three incredible Halo games and one okay game (*Cough* Halo 4 *Cough*) all in one package with all of each games content thrown in to the mix. Halo 2 Anniversary is clearly the star of the show here, and it is amazing to play my favorite Halo game in glorious HD. 10/10, superb value for your money!

Destiny6
Oct 6, 2014
While not deserving of the 0-4/10's people are giving it, I can understand the disappointment and many criticisms people have with Destiny. I myself had high expectations since Bungie was behind the wheel developing the game, but was left highly disappointed after playing the game for just three weeks. Destiny does get a-lot right. Destiny is a beautiful game with great visuals and awe-inspiring sky-boxes. Gameplay is fantastic. The music is good, but not nearly as good as Halo's music (Bungie, why on God's green Earth did you fire MARTY O'DONNEL? The mastermind behind Halo's incredible music?! Idiots...) Multiplayer is phenomenal and is what I spend most of my time playing. Bungie, as always, does a great job in this regard. Unfortunately, Destiny's positives are outweighed by it's **** game suffers from an insane amount of repetitiveness. You'll find yourself playing the exact same missions over and over and over and over again. For what? For nothing. The loot system was greatly flawed the last time I played (I know there was recently an update to fix it, but I haven't played it since then). These two issues alone are what make the game incredibly boring to play. But it gets worst. The campaign mode is a complete and utter joke. There is barely a story, and what story is there is uninteresting and dull. I was expecting a Mass Effect/Halo like grand and intricate space opera that I could play over and over without getting bored. Will I be replaying Destiny's story? Not a chance. Overall, it was a major disappointment and I hope Bungie gets their act together with future Destiny titles.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U8
Oct 6, 2014
Hard to believe Super Smash Bros. as a series is over fifteen years old! I'm proud to say that I've been a huge fan for fourteen of those fifteen years. A GOOD handheld version of Smash Bros. has always been a dream of mine since Melee released, and with Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, I can say that dream has finally come true. Gameplay is excellent and really brings back the competitive feel that Brawl was lacking. Visuals, for a handheld, are superb. The music, as with every Smash Bros. game, is top-notch. Having in-depth online functionality that works well (Brawl's online was horrible, but I blame the console not the game) is what really brings the game to the next level in my opinion. However, no game is perfect, so as expected there are a few criticisms I have with the game. The first criticism I have is that using the 3DS's controls feels incredibly weird to someone like me who has been using a Gamecube controller since 2001. It's not really the games fault since it's limited to the 3DS's control scheme, but I never really feel like I'm at the top of my game when I play. Second, online matches can be extremely slow and choppy even when I'm right next to my router. This is coming from a guy with extremely fast internet, so it's frustrating to me when matches seem to play in slow-motion. Local play has been perfectly fine for me so far. Overall, I'm very pleased with this iteration of Smash Bros. and even more pleased to say it corrects nearly all of what Brawl got wrong. Is it as good as Melee? I'll have to wait and see when the Wii U version releases. But from what I've seen from the 3DS version, there is a very good chance that it will top Melee in my books.

Mass Effect 210
Mar 18, 2013
I pre-ordered this game immediately after I watched the cinematic trailer, without ever having played Mass Effect 1. It was literally love at first sight, Mass Effect 2 became my favorite game of all time. Mass Effect 2 has the best character development ever with your squad-mates, never before have I actually cared about the characters in a videogame. They all seem to make the experience real, with awesome voice acting and unique backgrounds and personalities. The graphics are fantastic, even better than Mass Effect 3's in my opinion. The writing is perfect, and the music is memorable and epic. I give this game a 9.9 out of 10, my only complaint being the searching for resources by scanning planets. Other then that, what a perfect game! :D

Mass Effect 3: Omega8
Jan 12, 2013
Mass Effect 3: Omega has a very satisfying play-through. Story was great, gameplay was great, and fighting alongside Aria was very fun. Aria and the new character, Nyreen are very interesting characters. My only complaint would be the ending, because you cannot go back to visit Omega and all you get for a reward are war assets.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II4

Meh... I wasn't impressed. It's the same, frustrating, yearly COD game that you all know and have played in the past. There's not much else to say really.

Halo 49
Nov 14, 2012
As a 10 year Halo veteran, I must say that I am very impressed with what 343i has accomplished here. Halo 4 is an excellent game! The campaign, while NOT perfect, was put together very well. The multiplayer experience feels fresh and new, and everything is balanced very well (Including the Armor Abilities). The Forge mode has taken a huge step up from Reach with all the new additions and dynamic lighting. However, the custom games has actually taken a step down from from past games due to less customization. Spartan Ops has got to be the worst part of Halo 4, it just isn't a worthy successor to Firefight. Overall, Halo 4 is a solid game that everyone ought to play. Well done 343i :D

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive9
Aug 23, 2012
What can I say? Counter Strike: Global Offensive is just straight up FUN and definitely worth the fifteen dollars. It's a breath of fresh air from all the hardcore serious shooters like Call of Duty and Battlefield that we have nowadays, and it plays great on the Xbox 360.

Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut9
Jun 28, 2012
The Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut gave me all the answers and closure I was looking for. There was no "right" ending. They each had their ups and their downs, their moral grey areas, and people are arguing over which one they liked better. And that's fantastic. The fact that everyone can't really reach a clear consensus proves that Bioware really did an excellent job, and fixed up their stuff.

Mass Effect 39
Mar 16, 2012
I give Mass Effect 3 a 9.5. If you like video games focused on telling spectacular and immersive story's with tons of customization, then you will fall in love with the Mass Effect series. You will fall in love with this game. If you're new to the series and are thinking about playing this game, I would STRONGLY recommend playing the first two games before you play this one. Each game is about making difficult decisions shaping the future of the galaxy then carrying your decisions over into the next game in the series. So in order to get the full experience out of Mass Effect 3, then you should play the other two games first. If not, then you will be completely lost. So overall, it's a fantastic game and one of my personal favorites. I'd strongly recommend it!

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed7
Feb 2, 2012
This was a great game. It had an amazing story, great characters, and good gameplay. I think it did a great job connecting the prequel movies with the original Star Wars movies (Light Side Ending). It has good replay-ability (I beat it four time :D). However what I didn't like were the Felucia missions and all the bugs and glitches... still a good game though. The 2nd one **** ass compared to this one.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II3
Feb 2, 2012
Biggest disappointment ever. I LOVED the first game because I believe it connected the prequel movies with the original movies very well (Light Side Ending). It was very satisfying. This game however was an unnecessary sequel to the first game and a HUGE waste of money. Six hour game? Really? For SIXTY DOLLARS?! I still can't believe I bought this game....

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary10
Nov 15, 2011
Halo fans asked for this remake to be as close to the original as possible with awesome HD graphics and online co-op. We got what we asked for. It feel and plays just like the game we all fell in love with 10 years ago while looking and sounding like a modern day FPS. Combined with a $15 Classic Maps DLC for Halo: Reach, this is definitely one of the best values you'll find this holiday season for $40.00.

Battlefield 37
Nov 7, 2011
Battlefield 3, oh Battlefield 3. One of the most anticipated games of 2011, with the ultimate goal of killing the popular Call of Duty series. Did DICE achieve that goal? I don't think they did. Sure, the multiplayer is incredibly awesome and addicting, but the Campaign and Co-op just really ruin the overall game. I'm not even sure why DICE even bothered to waste their time with adding that stuff in, they're not story tellers. The Campaign is extremely boring, and is a chore to play. I don't even know if I'll ever finish it, because it's not even worth finishing. DICE's attempt at making an enjoyable Co-op experience failed. It's not quite as boring as the campaign, but still bad enough to make me not even complete the last two missions I haven't played yet. So by now you may be wondering why I didn't give this game a 1 or 2. The reason why is because 1.) The game is one of the best looking and sounding on a console. 2.) It's gameplay is super smooth and awesome. And 3.) The game's multiplayer is one of the best experiences I've played in a long, long time. It's definitely lived up to my expectations, and is the ONLY thing keeping this game afloat. I find it 10x more fun then Call of Duty's repetitive multiplayer. DICE couldn't of done a better job with it, and that is the sole reason why this game gets a positive score from me. If you're looking for a game with an incredible multiplayer, BUY THIS GAME. Just don't touch the second disk (Campaign). I hope this review helped those of you who are still thinking about buying this game.

Halo: Reach8
Oct 22, 2011
Alright, I've been a big time Halo fan for about 9 years now. I've played every Halo game (Including Wars) for countless hours and have read all the books. The Halo series is one of my favorite video game series of all time. That said, I really like Halo: Reach. It is the complete package. There are so many ways to have fun in this game. Reach's competitive multiplayer is very fun and is what keeps me playing the game one year later. I wouldn't say that it's the best in the series, but it's still extremely fun to play. Forge and Firefight have both taken huge leaps from Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST. Firefights customization is what really makes it fun, you can pretty much do almost anything you want with it. Forge World is just amazing, making awesome maps has never been easier. Just messing around with some friends in the huge environment can be extremely fun. And when you take your Forge World creation into Custom Games with friends, it's just plain awesome. However, there is one big problem with the game and is the reason why I gave it an 8 instead of a 9. The single player campaign, was not nearly as cool and epic as I had thought it would be. There was no character development at all, the voice acting was terrible, and most of the missions were boring and repetitive. It didn't really feel like you were part of this large scale epic fight for the planet, instead you ran around pushing buttons and switches. The planet itself seemed more like a civilian farming planet more then the vital industrial military planet it was supposed to be. In fact, the campaign is so horrible and disappointing I don't even consider it canon to the Halo Universe. If you want to know what really happened to Reach, just read the book Halo: The Fall of Reach instead. So overall, Halo: Reach is a great game, minus the single player campaign. It's a must buy for any FPS fan who owns an Xbox 360 and loves Sci Fi. I hope this review was helpful.
